About the role
Our supporters are central to everything we do. Many choose to fundraise for Prostate Scotland because they, or someone close to them, has been affected by prostate cancer or disease.
As Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in supporting individuals and communities to raise vital funds. You will provide warm, practical and responsive support throughout their fundraising journey — from helping them set up online fundraising pages, to answering questions, sharing their stories and celebrating their achievements. You will help build meaningful relationships with supporters, ensuring they feel valued, listened to and inspired to continue supporting our work.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor to join our fast-paced, supportive HR team at the Crick.
In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be involved in a wide range of people activities, including employee relations casework, annual performance and pay reviews, delivery of management training, policy and process development, and people-focused projects that make a real impact across the Crick community.
You’ll support a diverse client group spanning research labs and operational teams, giving you broad exposure and the chance to build strong working relationships across the organisation. Reporting to a People Partner and working closely with fellow People Advisors, you’ll help deliver a proactive, customer-focused HR service, providing relevant and appropriate HR support, while promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with the Crick’s policies, procedures, and employment legislation.

What you will be doing
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide general first-line HR support and advice covering all employee lifecycle activity to both employees and managers, working in partnership with People Partners, Senior People Advisors and People Coordinators where relevant
- Trusted advisor to managers and supporting with all people issues enabling them to find and implement the best approach to deal with an issue at hand e.g., performance, conduct, attendance.
- Provide advice on employee relations matters to ensure that all casework is managed in a fair and transparent manner. This will include absence management, capability, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working and supporting on restructures and redundancies
- Provide primary support and advice to hiring managers on recruitment activity, including salary benchmarking, interviewing and support with writing job descriptions
- Manage all queries on maternity leave and other family-friendly policies, including meeting with individuals and providing support and advice before, during and after periods of leave
About you
You will have:
- Proven experience of providing HR advice to managers and employees
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the HR support required when running employee relations cases, in particular absence management, performance management and disciplinary *
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR policies and best practices
- Experience of providing advice and an end-to-end service on maternity leave and other family-friendly leave *
- Ability to work under pressure while balancing timely work output with high levels of accuracy, demonstrating excellent attention to detail *
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to proactively build effective working relationships with a diverse employee population*

Join Our Legal Office
The Legal Office is the in-house provider of legal services to the national policy-making and governance institutions of the Church of England (the National Church Institutions, "NCIs"), which are some of the largest charities in the UK (including statutory corporations and a Royal Charter corporation), the largest of which are the Archbishops' Council, a national policy and strategic decision-making body, the Church Commissioners, a substantial endowment fund with assets valued at £11.1bn (2024) which has positioned itself at the forefront of Responsible Investment and which supports the mission of the Church, and the Church of England Pensions Board which stewards a £3.4bn fund. The Legal Office also advises the General Synod, which is a legislative assembly which makes primary and secondary legislation subject to the approval of Parliament.

About the role
As a member of the Legal Office Advisory Team, you will be providing legal services to the National Institutions of the Church of England, focused on giving legal advice across a diverse and interesting range of subjects which bear on the operations of the Church Commissioners and other parts of the national Church of England.
You will be joining us at an exciting time for the organisation and the role will offer you the opportunity for genuine career growth and development in a supportive environment, including interaction with some of the most senior stakeholders in the organisation. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, as Content Creator you will develop a strategic, values-aligned content framework, then lead on creative concepts and production of photography, video, audio and copywriting.
Your work will be applied across the full range of Wells Cathedral’s channels, including social media, website, intermediary platforms, interpretation and printed materials. You will be creatively communicating every aspect of Cathedral life – from fundraising to visitor experience, from worship and music to our Cathedral Shop and Loft Café. And you will be a key stakeholder in our amazing Vicars’ Close Project – major new heritage conservation, community engagement and visitor experience project, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, that will transform our visitor offer in 2027.

Service Objectives
The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) A&E Liaison Service are to:

About the Role:
The Mental Health A&E Link worker will work closely with individuals in a mental health crisis currently in A&E, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect.
They will encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery; through providing emotional support, signposting and completing onward referrals into mental health support. They will work closely with A&E clinical staff, integrated discharge teams, Bounce Back, and mental health liaison teams, to proactively identify referrals into the crisis alternatives service to facilitate timely discharges from A&E.

The Role
The Careers Adviser will travel across Kent, Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent Regions to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required.
Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.
You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.
We would require you to work five days-a-week, term time only, with a pro rata holiday entitlement. If you would prefer part-time only employment (minimum of three days a week), this can be negotiated.

Our client is an independent, Lambeth-based, grant-making foundation and charity with roots from the early 17th century. Their work aims to break cycles of financial deprivation for people living in Lambeth by awarding grants to individuals, organisations and community groups. The foundation’s grant-making is primarily focused on improving education and employment opportunities of young Lambeth residents from low-income backgrounds. Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation on their search for a Grants Officer, who will support the Head of Grants and the wider team in the development of a place-based grants strategy. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Lambeth, London (Hybrid working – 2 days from home 3 days in the office).
The role:
This role will work across all aspects of the foundation’s grant-making activities including assessing and administering grant applications from individuals, working with organisations to develop effective and appropriate reporting and supporting the development of new streams of work. The role requires lots of contact with Grantees (initially via email and telephone) and will involve monitoring & evaluation, project development and administration process management. This role will also contribute ideas towards planning new initiatives and keeping abreast of trends and issues facing the voluntary sector, both nationally and in the Lambeth area.

The post holder will also undertake assessments in relation to grants to organisations, and other grant-making duties and functions as required by the Head of Grants. This person will have a high level of intellectual and analytical ability, this could be evidenced by having studied to degree level, a professional qualification of some kind or having worked at a comparable level of complexity in a professional office-based environment. They will have a solid understanding of the issues facing young people (18 to 30) from low-income backgrounds and will have the ability to present clear written assessment reports, making recommendations and decisions and the ability to think strategically as well as practically, to ensure the foundation is living its values. They will have excellent attention to detail and will be an effective time manager. Ideally, this person will have experience of Salesforce database (or similar) and possibly have a local knowledge of Lambeth and the surrounding areas.
IT competent, numerate, and highly organised, this person will have experience of grant-making or at least an understanding of its principles, hopefully a knowledge of the welfare and benefits framework and will be fully appreciative of the issues raised in a multi-cultural setting and an understanding of and a commitment to, issues of diversity and equality.
