About the Role
We are looking for a Development Coordinator to support and develop Outside Edge Theatre Company’s fundraising and income generation.
Working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO, Trustees and external consultants, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of fundraising activity, with a particular focus on trust and foundation fundraising, individual giving, corporate relationships, supporter communications and donor stewardship.
This is a newly created role and we welcome applications from candidates interested in taking their first steps in a career in fundraising. Training, strategic support and development opportunities will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Management
– Research, prepare and write high-quality applications to trusts and foundations.
– Identify new funding opportunities and manage application deadlines.
– Coordinate funder acknowledgements, monitoring and evaluation reports.

Individual & Major Giving
– Support the implementation of a new individual and major giving strategy.

Person Specification
We are looking for someone with:
– An interest in fundraising or supporter engagement, gained through paid work, volunteering or other relevant experience.
– Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt communications for different audiences and platforms.
– Experience in an administrative, fundraising, customer service or similar role.
– Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of people, including public speaking.
– Good IT skills; CRM experience is desirable.

Sightsavers is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Major Donor Fundraising to lead the next phase of growth for our high value individual giving programme. This role can be worked full time or part time, with a minimum of four days per week, and is UK based with regular travel to our Haywards Heath office.
As part of the Fundraising and Marketing directorate, you will develop and deliver a long-term major donor strategy, lead a specialist team and personally manage a focused portfolio of high value donors and prospects. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, technical leadership, programme delivery, finance, planning and senior leadership, you will identify compelling funding opportunities and help build strong cases for support. We would like to hear from confident and collaborative senior fundraisers with experience of leading or managing a high value fundraising programme. This is a unique opportunity to join the Fundraising Team at Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, and we can’t wait to have you on board. As a member of a dynamic and fast-paced team, you’ll provide critical support in researching and mapping our internal and external networks, in addition to delivering essential work to grow the Trusts philanthropic portfolio.
A curious and inquisitive mindset is key to this role, with a desire to fact find and build connections across Yorkshire and beyond. You will have a natural skill for data processing and communication, whilst also being able to creatively interpret your findings and write reports. You will lead, develop and implement research processes and cooperate collaboratively with colleagues of all levels. You will have your finger on the pulse of fundraising sector trends and be able to provide insight in risk research, due diligence and marketing. We are a very creative and ambitious team, and so a common-sense approach to problem solving and enthusiasm are essential for success in this role.
Research skills are essential to this role, and so an undergraduate degree is required, with desired experience at postgraduate level, too.
