The Head of Fundraising will work closely with our Chief Executive and will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic fundraising programme that generates sustainable income and supports the organisation's growth aligned to ambitions. As Fundraising Assistant, you will support all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement. Tasks and Responsibilities
· Maintain and update the fundraising database, ensuring supporter records are accurate, complete and up to date.
· Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters, emails and receipts in line with donor stewardship standards.
· Manage Gift Aid administration, including data checks, record maintenance and submission processes.
· Provide administrative support to Fundraising Officers, including diary management, meeting scheduling and preparation of briefing materials.
· Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, donor visits and receptions.
· Coordinate donor and community representative visits to schools in collaboration with the Education Team.
· Assist with the preparation of fundraising reports, presentations and internal documentation.
· Support general department administration to ensure the smooth running of the fundraising function.
· Conduct basic prospect research to identify potential funding opportunities.
· Prepare supporting documents, budgets and attachments for grant applications.
· Maintain accurate records of application deadlines, reporting requirements, funding decisions and income forecasts.

As a Senior Young Dads Worker, you will provide direct, intensive support to young dads across Sunderland, working with some of the most disadvantaged young men in the region. As Assistant Company Secretary, you’ll play a key role in making sure Marie Curie’s governance runs smoothly and effectively. As Recruitment Co-Ordinator will play a critical role in providing strong administrative support to the Recruitment Team in helping experienced professionals successfully transition into teaching, building high-quality pipelines of career changers who can make a lasting impact in schools and on pupils’ outcomes.
In this role, success means providing an exceptional Now Teach experience ensuring all candidates are contacted within 48 hours, pre-screened accurately, consultations scheduled within desired timeframes, that accurate CRM data is maintained and that candidates feel supported and engaged throughout the early stages of our recruitment process.

PERSON SPECFICIATION
Who you are (qualities/values)
Proven ability to own a fast paced, dynamic pipeline from end-to-end (either a sales or recruitment pipeline, or other, transferable experience) and deliver a timely turnaround on actions and applicant follow-up, ideally within 48 hours.
You’ll be confident and comfortable working predominantly by phone, using calls as a key tool to build relationships, provide advice, overcome barriers and move applicants through the pipeline.
You’ll be comfortable and confident in working to ambitious individual and team targets as standard.
You’ll have a strong coaching capability, demonstrating confidence in handling complex career decisions, displaying a high level of emotional intelligence.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IDVA Team Leader to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of an innovative city-wide service supporting parents aged 16+ and their children under 18 who are affected by domestic abuse.
Based within Birmingham's Family Hubs, the service will provide specialist, trauma-informed domestic abuse support to families at the earliest opportunity, helping to prevent escalation of harm and improve safety, resilience and wellbeing. The IDVA Team Leader will help ensure that families receive a flexible, whole-family response, with the voices and needs of both parents and children remaining central to assessment, safety planning and support.
In this role, you will provide leadership and day-to-day support to a team of Family IDVAs, helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective services. You will line manage a team of frontline practitioners, providing supervision, coaching, case guidance and performance support, while promoting a positive, confident and resilient team culture. You will also support the Operations Manager with the effective running and development of the service. This will include supporting case allocation, monitoring caseloads, undertaking case reviews and audits, ensuring accurate recording on case management systems, and contributing to performance reporting against service standards, contractual requirements and KPIs. You will use data, quality assurance and learning from practice to help identify trends, strengthen service delivery and support continuous improvement.
You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues around safeguarding, risk and case complexity, ensuring the service prioritises the safety, dignity and individual needs of families. Partnership working will be central to this role. You will work closely with Birmingham Children's Trust, Family Hubs, Early Help, education, health, community organisations and other statutory and voluntary sector partners to strengthen referral pathways, promote access to support and improve coordinated responses for families affected by domestic abuse. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis and other gender-based abuse to provide high quality independent support to survivors all risk levels and their children..
In this role you will be part of a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre. The duty IGVA will be responding to daily enquiries (specify from whom- public, agencies, individuals? over the phone and email as well as contacting survivors, assessing their risks and needs.
The duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the over to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support. The post holder will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
