Purpose of the role

Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Outreach & Engagement Worker will deliver 2-4 daytime outreach sessions per week in Manchester alongside partners, colleagues and volunteers. They will also attend the Street Engagement Hub weekly to provide specialist support to women attending this multi-agency hub. They will provide brief interventions and casework support to women supporting their needs holistically.

This is a new role at High Trees, created because we believe Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector (VCS) is one of the borough’s greatest assets – strong, skilled and rooted in the communities it serves. Blackheath Halls is looking for an enthusiastic Development Manager to fundraise for our wide-ranging programme and historic building.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a wide breadth of fundraising activity, from researching and submitting funding applications for our community engagement programme to building and sustaining relationships with high level donors.
Having been through a multi-million pound building transformation over the past ten years, Blackheath Halls has a strong track record in fundraising. We raise over £100,000 annually towards our Community Engagement activity, thanks to generous individual donors, Trusts and Foundations and our Friends and Patrons scheme. We are now looking for a Development Manager to join our passionate and committed staff team and build on these foundations to ensure the continued financial health of the charity.
Please note that this role is being offered on a part-time permanent basis (28 hours per week). However, we are open to discussion about full-time hours or taking this on as a freelance role with the right candidate.

ROLE PURPOSE
This role is responsible for the delivery and change management of a portfolio of system‑related initiatives, ensuring best‑practice governance, disciplined delivery, and effective adoption across the organisation. The Digital Change Manager brings strong organisational, planning, and problem‑solving skills, with a solutions‑focused and adaptable approach. They maintain objectivity while navigating complex change and are passionate about delivering digital improvements through well‑managed, transformative initiatives.
A key part of the role is to embed a culture of structured change management while delivering projects within the remit of the Strategic Change Team, ensuring that system enhancements and new implementations drive meaningful improvements to processes, systems, and ways of working.
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive and solutions-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down complex challenges and delivering practical improvements. You have experience managing projects, including the implementation of AI tools and technical systems such as ERP, CRM, or ticketing platforms, and supporting organisational change. You work confidently with stakeholders at all levels to achieve successful outcomes. You can balance competing priorities, adapt to changing demands, and use evidence to make informed recommendations that enhance services. A good understanding of project management principles is essential for this role.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This full-time post is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The annual salary is £57,000 plus excellent benefits, including flexible working and family friendly policies.
