The role

Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Lead, you will play a key role in:

• Supporting the delivery and growth of corporate partnerships and community fundraising campaigns

About Quest for Learning

Quest for Learning is an education charity working to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind due to disadvantage.

We work closely with schools to deliver targeted, evidence-led literacy and numeracy programmes that help children build the skills, confidence and foundations they need to thrive. Many of the children we support are growing up in poverty, facing barriers linked to low family literacy, unmet additional needs, unstable home circumstances, or limited access to wider opportunities.

Role purpose

We are seeking an energetic, proactive and relationship-focused fundraiser to help grow Quest for Learning’s community, corporate and partnership fundraising activity.

This role will focus primarily on building relationships and developing opportunities with local businesses, community organisations, schools, supporters and wider networks across Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities

Community and partnership fundraising

• Build and develop relationships with local businesses, community groups and supporters

Off The Record Twickenham is a unique charity in Richmond borough which provides free and confidential counselling, walk-in information and sexual health support to young people aged 11-24 who live, work or study in Richmond borough. Our vision is that “Every young person has a welcoming space where they feel valued, supported and listened to”. We support over 1,000 young people every year.

In the coming year we have secured grant and other income covering two thirds of our planned expenditure of £340,000 and we need to fundraise for the remainder. We want to grow our income in future years in order to expand our much-needed services, particularly by nurturing and growing the support of local businesses, schools and community groups. We also see great potential to increase support from individuals and major donors across the borough of Richmond, given we support so many young people and families in the area every year.

As this role involves engaging local community groups, businesses and volunteers in our mission to support local young people, it is particularly suited to someone who lives and/or has worked in the London borough of Richmond. You'll join a warm, supportive and motivated team that strives to make a difference and enjoy autonomy in the role to shape and grow your own fundraising portfolio. Building on the charity's secure and well-established income from grant-makers, you'll grow and nurture newer fundraising streams, capitalising on Off The Record Twickenham's strong local reputation and existing community support. 

As Fundraiser, you will be responsible for all fundraising applications and will also lead on building strong relationships with grant givers and with Off The Record Twickenham’s local community, developing partnerships with businesses, community groups, and individual supporters.

This is a full-time role reporting to the Manager, combining both home and office-based working, with local travel. Occasional evening and weekend work also required. The salary is up to £40,000p.a. depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring Off The Record maintains its core funding
• Developing and monitoring the fundraising strategy with the manager
• Taking responsibility for all bid-writing for an established grant fundraising portfolio, including budgets and monitoring reports

Internal processes and support

• Track supporter activity and income, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and reporting regularly to the Director of Income Generation
• Collaborate with the Communications team? To develop compelling fundraising toolkits, resources, and materials to empower supporters to fundraise effectively.
• Lead on CRM database management for community and events fundraising, maintaining accurate and up-to-date supporter records, ensuring GDPR compliance, and developing processes that improve data quality across the team.
• Ensure all fundraising activity is delivered in line with relevant legislation, including UK charity law and Fundraising Regulator guidance.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a fundraising, events, or community engagement role within the charity sector.
• A proven track record of meeting income targets and growing a supporter base.
• Experience engaging and supporting a diverse range of fundraisers including individuals, schools, community groups, and local businesses.
• Experience recruiting, supporting, and motivating volunteers.

Essential skills and attributes:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a wide range of supporters.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Confident using a CRM database and Microsoft Office suite; experience with online fundraising platforms (e.g. JustGiving, Enthuse).
• Understanding of UK charity law, GDPR, and Fundraising Regulator best practice.
• A proactive, creative, and solutions-focused approach to fundraising.
• A genuine empathy with Duchenne UK’s mission and the communities we serve.

Desirable experience:

• Experience in a health, rare disease, or neurodisability charity.
• Experience managing third-party or mass participation challenge events.

Desirable skills:

• Experience using social media for fundraising promotion and community building.
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance in a fundraising context.

Location:  Home-based Scotland. The role will involve travel across Scotland and the North of England.

This is an exciting opportunity to help grow community support for Chipping Barnet Foodbank and strengthen the relationships that make our work possible.

We are looking for a warm, proactive, community-focused fundraiser who enjoys building relationships and bringing people together around a shared cause. You’ll work with local businesses, schools, faith groups, community organisations, and individual supporters to help raise vital funds and grow long-term support for the foodbank.

This is a hands-on role with real scope to shape and develop fundraising at the foodbank. Alongside community fundraising and supporter engagement, you’ll help deliver key campaigns such as our Christmas Appeal and contribute to wider fundraising activity where needed.

Chipping Barnet Foodbank provides emergency food and support to people facing hardship across the London Borough of Barnet. But our work goes beyond food. St Michael’s Hospice is seeking a proactive, tactful and empathetic individual to join our Fundraising Team and help grow our legacy and in memory giving programmes.

Legacies and in memory donations are a vital and growing part of the charity’s fundraising income. As the first point of contact within the charity for legacy and in memory fundraising, this role is central to generating new partnerships, nurturing existing supporter relationships, converting pledges into gifts, and ensuring an excellent supporter experience throughout.

As a visible and proactive ambassador, you will be excited about finding new ways to promote legacy and in memory giving to our staff, volunteers and supporters. You will feel comfortable talking about gifts in wills, operating collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Working with our external partners, such as Muchloved, Crematoriums and funeral directors, you will bring your creativity and communication skills to develop engaging new opportunities for our donors and grow income across legacy and in memory giving.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to grow this vital area of income. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver our trusts and foundations strategy at a key point in our organisational development, helping to diversify income and support innovative, impactful programmes.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will take ownership of RBVE’s corporate fundraising portfolio, strengthening supporter engagement and building long‑term value. You will champion corporate fundraising as a key driver of the charity’s income growth, ensuring the team delivers exceptional performance and meets stretching income goals.
