PURPOSE OF ROLE
Major donors and philanthropists are currently responsible for over a quarter of Caudwell Youth’s annual income – due in part to the generosity of the networks of our founder, John Caudwell.
As Caudwell Youth enters its fourth year, we are seeking a Senior Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships manager to help us expand beyond our strong founder-led base into a sustainable major donor and corporate supporter portfolio.
Proactive and commercially-minded, you will be confident driving and developing all stages of the major donor and corporate supporter stewardship process. Confidence in engaging in new business research, prospecting, initial meetings and pitches is a must, as you will be responsible for growing our small pipeline of supporters and warm prospects into a long-term income stream.
This is essential to Caudwell Youth’s future sustainability, with corporate partnerships and major donor income currently making up 30% of Caudwell Youth’s annual fundraising income (forecast to be around £450,000 this year).
Our ambition is to increase this revenue stream by around 50% to over £800,000 by 2030, in order to support more at-risk young people from across the UK, as set out in our recently launched strategy, Going National.
This is a role for a self-starter who is excited to drive high value growth and be a key part of Caudwell Youth’s upward trajectory, working within a small but dynamic fundraising team. It offers significant opportunity to shape and lead this area of fundraising as it grows.
You will be an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing major gifts of four, five and six figure gifts, familiarity with managing corporate partnerships and evidence of growing and developing new pipelines and revenue streams.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Virtual Casework Coordinator to join the Casework and Community Engagement Team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
About the role
You will be responsible for the efficient daily operations of the Virtual Casework Office. You will be working collaboratively with SSAFA colleagues and volunteers across all Regional Offices to ensure SSAFA beneficiaries receive a consistent, timely, and high-quality service.

The team operates within a "virtual" office and will assist in the rollout of the Network Delivery Project (NDP) across all regions. The successful candidate will join a support team that includes two virtual casework coordinators, under the guidance of the Virtual Casework Manager.

About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector would be valuable.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands we are looking for a specialist Advocate for Scotland. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of domestic abuse. Through trauma-informed approaches, you will:
· Listen to families and advocate for them in a complex system that too often treats them as passive participants and overlooks the value of their insight.
· Provide information, support, guidance, advice and advocacy on Domestic Homicide & Suicide Reviews (DHSR’s) and other reviews where relevant and appropriate.
· Manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities.
· Give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf.
· Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.
The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. The successful candidate will be comfortable stepping into an established team, building trust quickly and working with experienced people who know the conference and events well.
You will need to be organised and relationship-focused and be able to provide a reliable staff oversight during this transitional period.
Experience of Conference or Events management in a membership, charity or professional body setting would be an advantage.
We are looking for a candidate who can provide confident interim management, maintain effective delivery of the Conference and Events, and work collaboratively with colleagues, members and stakeholders.

As our new Trusts and Foundations Executive, you will join a top performing team, identify and engage with prospective donors, build long-term relationships, generate donations, coordinate events and steward our supporters. This is an exciting role where no day will be the same and you can truly make an impact.

You'll manage and grow a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters and prospects, helping secure gifts between £5,000 and £50,000 to support Marie Curie's vital work.
