About Screen Share
Screen Share is the leading refugee digital inclusion charity in the UK. Our mission is to ensure every refugee in the UK has access to a connected digital device and the skills to use it to achieve their goals. We provide devices, internet connectivity, and digital skills support to refugees. Our full-service digital inclusion support gives refugees an opportunity to get on with their lives. If they are digitally excluded, they cannot access education, employment, or support services. Being offline slows down language learning, delays the asylum process, creates social isolation and marginalises refugees at a time in their lives when they have to be online. By providing refugees with the tools and confidence to operate online, our work fosters agency and independence, allowing refugees to rebuild their futures on their own terms.
It's a genuinely exciting time to join Screen Share. Our new 2026–2030 strategy sets an ambitious vision: to scale our impact to reach 5,000 people annually; build a nationwide, integrated programme model across multiple cities; deepen our lived-experience leadership; and deliver a sustainable, circular-economy approach to device reuse. Every element of our work is guided by our values Responsibility, Sustainability, Equity, and Collaboration, which you can read more about in the applicant pack.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can bring significant income-generating expertise to a new challenge. You’ll sit lead our Outreach team, be a collaborative 'do-er' who leads inclusively, is passionate about our mission and wants to add value to our small team from day one. We want to work with someone who is excited by our growth journey and can be flexible and dynamic as we scale. We are launching our Senior Leadership Team this summer, which includes a Director of Income to take ownership of our income generation, drive forward our social value offer and lead our Outreach team effectively and kindly.
Purpose of the Role
The Director of Income role is responsible for leading our income generation. Our fundraising strategy is to significantly grow and further diversify our income, with a particular focus on corporate and trading income. The postholder will coordinate our fundraising activity, lead our Outreach team and work closely with the CEO to drive forward our income generation so we can safely deliver our ambitious strategy over the next 5 years.
In particular, the postholder will be responsible for coordinating and developing our income function, converting our strategic fundraising objectives into operational plans, managing the Head of Outreach and representing the organisation externally. However, the role is not solely governance and leadership - we need a do-er who is comfortable working in a small team and sharing responsibilities, including submitting fundraising proposals and taking responsibility for our reporting. They will work closely with the CEO, Director of Programmes, Head of Outreach and Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to ensure we are communicating our value proposition coherently and effectively to the important stakeholders that make our work possible.
We do not see this as a traditional fundraising director role - we are looking for a skilled generalist who can meet us where we are at by working confidently across Trusts and Foundations, statutory grants, corporate partnerships and traded services simultaneously. We are a small charity with 10 staff, so while we are looking for a decision-making and accountable leader, the postholder will be expected to support colleagues across the organisation. They will have a collaborateive spirit and the emotional intelligence to thrive in a small team.
The postholder will lead the Outreach team (CEO, Head of Outreach, and Fundraising and Communications Coordinator), ensuring we work efficiently and together. They will also model our values, actively promote our commitment to refugee leadership, and bring stability and leadership at a crucial time for our organisation's development. We are looking for someone humble and ambitious, motivated by our mission and confident in our ability to create a sustainable, full-service digital inclusion organisation for refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
Check out the recruitment pack attached for further information. If you have any questions about the role or it’s scope, please feel free to get in touch.

Through each conversation, task and event you support, you’ll be contributing to St Nicholas Hospice Care’s mission to provide compassionate care to nearly 2,000 people each year.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in providing reliable, well‑organised administrative support. One day you might be assisting colleagues with the logistics for a flagship event; the next, helping a community group with the practical steps needed to develop their fundraising idea. You’ll play a supportive role in building relationships, coordinating information, and helping to keep tasks moving smoothly — bringing your calm, friendly approach to every interaction.
You’ll be joining a supportive, enthusiastic fundraising team where your ideas are welcome, your development is encouraged, and your work genuinely makes a difference. You’ll see the impact of what you help deliver — in the smiles, stories and shared moments created at each event.

What is NHS Continuing Healthcare?
NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is the name given to a package of care that some people need to receive due to disability, accident or illness. People who are eligible for CHC have the full cost of their care and residential accommodation funded by the NHS. This relieves families of sometimes astronomical care bills.
The criteria for determining who is eligible for CHC are highly complex and can be very difficult for the public to understand, and for professionals to apply consistently. The assessment process is lengthy and detailed. Likewise, the appeal process can be very daunting and perplexing.
About our organisation
Beacon was established in May 2014 for the purpose of providing independent and high-quality support to individuals and their families in England who need help navigating the NHS Continuing Healthcare process.
Beacon is a registered social enterprise and a proud member of Social Enterprise UK. We operate with a core set of ethical social objectives and values through which all of our work is delivered.
Social enterprises are businesses. Like any other business, they seek to make a profit and succeed commercially. But how they operate, who they employ, how they use their profits and where they work transforms lives and communities across the UK. At Beacon, we donate any surpluses to supporting charitable objectives that are in line with our aims.
Through expert advocacy, advice and training, Beacon enables people to be heard and to enact real and positive change in their lives. We help people to understand their rights and the realistic options available to them, equipping some of those most vulnerable in society with the knowledge and practical support to make meaningful and transformative decisions.
Our Values
At Beacon, we employ people who want to do things differently to other organisations working in this field. Five values sum up our culture and how we treat our clients and our staff:
Commitment to our clients
We operate with honesty and integrity. We are transparent about our funding set-up and our fees, which we keep as low as we sensibly can. We never ‘hard sell’ our services, we keep you informed at every step, and we always give our honest opinion of your chances of success. As a social enterprise, we donate any profits to charity.
Commitment to our team
We operate with honesty and integrity, and always work hard to get the best results for our clients and the business. We work to high standards, and trust our people to respectfully speak out if we fall short.
Commitment to our clients
We pride ourselves on being recognised as leading independent experts in NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC). We apply our knowledge and experience to help every case and caller. We also strive to improve CHC for everyone, by training health and social care professionals.
Commitment to our team
We are the leading experts in our field. We encourage and value innovation and evolution in what we do, and how we do it. We are united in developing the business and its services.
Commitment to our clients
By listening carefully to you and the people who really know about your care needs, we can provide excellent advice and powerful advocacy tailored to your unique situation.
Commitment to our team
We get results by getting to know our clients. We do the same with our people, offering flexible working options to suit your circumstances, and taking time out to have fun as a team.
Commitment to our clients
We are mindful of the immense stress that our callers and clients can be under, at what is often a really tough time. We do our best to lift some of that burden by providing a quality service that you can trust, and by being compassionate and courteous at all times.
Commitment to our team
The nature of the work can be stressful and emotionally draining. We take care and time to look out for each other, and encourage healthy work habits.
Commitment to our team
We take the time to celebrate success and are inspired by one another’s achievements. We provide a generous and varied suite of benefits that can be enjoyed by our people and their families.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious new charity as we make a step-change to grow our work significantly over the next 3-5 years. We are not just looking for a typical Fundraiser. At such a crucial moment in our charity’s growth, every staff member has such a significant impact on our work and the potential to make a fundamental difference to our future. We are looking for a highly innovative, adaptable and dynamic individual who is excited by the idea of joining a small, dedicated team all focused on building a new and emerging charity to the next stage.
We are looking for the right core skills, but alongside that, we’re looking for an enthusiast, a driver, a creative, someone who can think outside the box. We welcome applicants at all levels of experience but most importantly, we’re looking for a storyteller, a natural relationship builder, someone who is able to captivate new potential supporters. From carefully crafting grant applications to building long-term, bespoke funding relationships sustained through connection, the role requires attention to detail, foresight, and a natural ability to take initiative. Working for a small charity requires tenacity, resourcefulness and grit, so whether you’re an experienced fundraiser looking for a new challenge or have never worked in Fundraising before but believe you can bring these skills, we’d love to hear from you.
We are a unique charity who are proud to do things differently. Whilst we are highly professional and ambitious, we are also very relational in everything we do, whether that be the way we talk to funders, our culture within the office or the way we look after each other. Life moves fast at Basecamp, and as we are looking to both sustain our current Trusts and Foundations operation and develop a new Corporate income stream, it is likely your skills will to an extent steer the specifics of the role. This is a rare opportunity to get in at the ground level of an ambitious new charity with the potential for significant role development as the charity evolves.
