About the role:

A safe, well maintained room can be the foundation someone needs to begin rebuilding their life. As a Maintenance Operative, you’ll make sure our supported accommodation across London provides the safe, dignified and welcoming environment every client deserves.

This is a hands on, multi skilled maintenance role focused on minor repairs and property improvements rather than specialist or technically qualified trade work. Travelling between different services across London, you’ll complete jobs such as painting and decorating, repairing walls and fixtures, basic carpentry, minor plumbing, tiling and preparing empty rooms so they can be offered safely and quickly to someone who needs a home.

You’ll plan and manage a varied workload, respond to urgent health and safety concerns and identify problems before they become more serious. You’ll also inspect rooms and communal areas, record completed work clearly, arrange materials and flag any repairs that need to be passed to a qualified contractor. At times, you may check completed contractor work and provide feedback where standards have not been met.

Our accommodation is home to people who have experienced homelessness, mental ill health and other forms of multiple disadvantage. Some services are larger, hostel-style buildings, while others are smaller residential properties. You’ll often be working in occupied environments and may meet clients while completing repairs, so you’ll need to be comfortable working respectfully around people who may be distressed or experiencing a difficult time. You won’t be expected to provide support or manage challenging situations alone, and service colleagues will be available to help.

You’ll join a growing Maintenance Team that shares knowledge, works collaboratively and takes pride in getting the details right. With plenty of variety and autonomy, this is an opportunity to develop your practical skills while seeing the direct difference your work makes to the buildings we manage and the people who call them home.

Latymer Upper School is seeking to appoint a Philanthropy Officer (Individual Giving).

This role oversees the execution of all annual, capital, and project-based mass appeals across print, digital, and telephone channels. By driving these multi-channel campaigns, the position actively engages Upper and Prep school constituencies, including current and former parents, Prep families, and alumni (Latymerians).

About the role:

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and conscientious qualified accountant to join a dynamic, high-impact team working to protect the global environment and defend human rights. About The Role

The Head of Risk Management & Insurance is a senior leadership role with significant influence across the organisation, reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer and working closely with the Executive Board, Board of Trustees and Audit & Risk Committee. You will take ownership of the organisation’s approach to risk, insurance and business continuity, providing the expertise, assurance and constructive challenge needed to support confident decision-making at the highest level. Key responsibilities

1. Strategic leadership

• Develop and lead the implementation of a multi-year fundraising and communications strategy aligned to DeafKidz International's organisational strategy and growth ambitions.

• Set annual income targets and communications objectives, and report regularly on progress to the CEO, Trustees and Board sub-committees.

• As an SLT member, contribute to organisational planning, risk management, budgeting and culture, bringing an external, supporter-facing perspective to internal decisions.

 In this role, the Digital Communications Officer will help AMOSSHE communicate clearly, consistently and creatively with its members, partners and sector stakeholders. Providence Row works with people experiencing homelessness and insecure housing in East London. We provide integrated support across crisis intervention, advice, health, substance use, volunteering, learning and training.

About the Progression & Training Service

The Progression & Training Service supports clients to identify and take practical steps towards learning, volunteering, training and employment. Through one-to-one coaching, group learning, digital inclusion, vocational training and partnerships with external organisations, the service helps clients build skills, confidence and access to meaningful progression opportunities.

The service works closely with Providence Row’s wider teams, including Catering Training, Gardening, Volunteering, Health Inclusion and Advice and Support, to provide coordinated pathways that reflect each client’s goals, strengths and circumstances.

Role purpose

The Progression & Training Manager is responsible for the leadership, quality, performance and development of the service.

The postholder will lead the team, oversee client progression pathways, maintain strong partnerships and ensure that the service delivers high-quality, trauma-informed and strengths-based support. They will also be responsible for performance monitoring, reporting, safeguarding, service improvement and the effective use of resources.

As a Community Support Coordinator, you will lead the delivery of our Community Support Volunteer service across Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

You will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND) to access high-quality, safe, inclusive and person-centred support. Working closely with volunteers, health and social care professionals, and local partners, you will build strong community connections, facilitate access to relevant information and services, helping people make informed choices about the support available to them.

This home-based role offers the opportunity to connect communities, strengthen volunteer networks, and ensure people have choice, control and access to the support they need.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of Community Support Volunteers
• Recruit, induct and retain volunteers, ensuring safe and effective service delivery
• Respond to enquiries and referrals, providing information, support and signposting
• Build strong relationships with health and social care professionals and community partners
• Support local branches and groups to understand and respond to community needs
• Promote inclusive, accessible and needs-led support that enables personal choice and control
• Facilitate effective communication between volunteers, staff and local stakeholders
• Support safeguarding processes and respond appropriately to concerns
• Monitor and record activity, outcomes and key performance information
• Contribute to service development, continuous improvement and regional teamwork

About You

• Experience leading, managing or coordinating volunteers, ideally within the voluntary sector
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Experience identifying and responding to support needs using a person-centred approach
• Understanding of care and support services and the role of volunteering within them
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and risk management
• Ability to build networks and influence a range of stakeholders and partner organisations
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the region.

Essential requirement This role requires regular travel to locations that are not reasonably accessible to public transport and/or travel between locations within working hours. Applicants must hold a current valid driving licence. This is an essential requirement of the role due to the nature and location of the work. The Commercial & Events Officer plays a key role in raising income for the Charity by supporting the Commercial & Events Manager in planning, organising and delivering corporate stewardship, community engagement and fundraising events (including virtual). As an Organisational Change & Development Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering people, culture, talent, organisational design and development projects that support the British Heart Foundation's People Power. Working within the Talent &

Organisational Development team, you'll partner with change specialists, learning technologists and learning and development professionals to drive meaningful organisational change.

Reporting to the Head of Organisational Change, you'll provide project and consultancy support across the Organisational Change and Talent & Leadership teams. Working arrangements

This is a project-specific fixed-term contract for 9-12 months, created to deliver the change and communications for our strategic programme to transform BHF into a skills-powered organisation.

The role

At Cruse, our strategy, sets out our charity’s plans to grow our income and build on our expertise and unique position in the sector. We provide expert bereavement and grief information and support, and our charity has been supporting people for over 65 years. We support adults, children and young people across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, through our national services, over 80 local branches and online information about grief and bereavement.

To lead and grow Cruse’s community fundraising and events programme, maximising income from existing activities/events while developing new fundraising opportunities. The postholder will take ownership of event planning and delivery, supporter engagement and volunteer and Branch fundraising coordination, helping to increase unrestricted income. This role is responsible for the planning and delivery of major events such as Cruse walks, whilst also creating new fundraising events for supporters to engage with us. Based in either the South of England or Wales

You will take ownership of campaign planning and delivery across digital, print, events and media, translating priorities from Fundraising, Retail, Clinical Services, the People Team and Corporate Partnerships into audience-led marketing activity.
