The Role:
- Responsible to the Housing Manager for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service to ex-service personnel and their dependents.
- To provide an effective and responsive housing management service for a patch of Stoll properties, meeting agreed performance outcomes and objectives for key
areas, including rent arrears, lettings and anti-social behaviour
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact in relation to housing applicants, ensuring that all data is recorded accurately on the housing database, and the waiting list is
managed efficiently. - Take part in the Allocations process, working with the other members of the Housing team to ensure that all voids on the patch are efficiently allocated and that let targets are met.
- Undertake viewings, sign-ups and new tenant visits, working in partnership with the Support team to ensure new tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities and are fully supported through the process in order to successfully sustain their tenancies.
- Investigate and make recommendations on the suitability of applications for transfers and mutual exchanges in accordance with established procedures.
- Carry out void inspections in the absence of the Property Services Manager and, where appropriate, arrange the appropriate void remedial work
Specific Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of lettings and allocations, rent collection and arrears management, repairs and maintenance, tenancy disputes and anti-social behaviour policie and procedures and their application
- Understanding of the legal framework and regulatory context in which Stoll operates and the role of local authorities and Registered Providers in providing housing services
- Experience/knowledge of the issues facing the ex-Service community, especially those Veterans with support needs.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent – minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English
- Working knowledge of housing legislation, including tenancy enforcement, debtrecovery, and anti-social behaviour.

Office base Liverpool Street/Moorgate – Commonweal operates a flexible hybrid working policy requiring staff to attend the office base at least 2 days per week, one of which is our Tuesday anchor day when all staff are in the office.
Commonweal is an independent charity, with a small core staff team of 9, overseen by a voluntary Board of Trustees, working to investigate, pilot and champion housing based solutions to social injustice. Using our charitable resources, we provide experts and partner organisations with the opportunity to trial and test new approaches designed to enhance housing equality and justice. Independently evaluating each of our projects we share our experiences, using this learning to inspire new thinking. Through the replication of what works and the lessons from what doesn’t, we influence changes in policy and practice. We are seeking an Office Manager to lead and deliver the core administration that underpins our charity’s work. This new role brings together governance admin, property record management, and oversight of our office systems and environment.
As Office Manager, you will:
- Provide high-quality governance support to our Board of Trustees, including scheduling meetings, collating agendas, circulating board packs, and taking minutes.
- Manage the administration of our property portfolio, ensuring leases, rent review dates, compliance certificates and other legal documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Oversee the smooth running of our office, including IT and supplier contracts, health & safety compliance, and ensuring staff have the systems and equipment they need.
- Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries and provide reliable admin support to the CEO, DCEO and wider team.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.

Salary
The Housing Partner (Housing Officer) role offers a salary of £36,339 per annum for candidates who fully meet the role requirements.
If you're still developing in some areas, we'll support your growth with a starting salary just 5% or 10% below the spot rate, depending on experience.
You'll also receive a regional allowance of £2,908 and an essential user car allowance starting from £1,250 per year, plus mileage for travel around your patch - helping you stay mobile while making a difference in your community.
About you
You'll need experience in delivering housing management services, plus an understanding of tenancy and neighbourhood management. It would be ideal if you have a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing - or you'd be willing to work towards it. You'll bring a proven track record in managing anti-social behaviour, as well as a strong knowledge of rent collection processes and legal frameworks around income recovery. As you'll be travelling across our Accent sites and estates, you'll need a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Housing Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire.
You will be joining the Warwickshire Dispersed Safe Accommodation service. This service will provide emergency safe accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. Housing Support Workers will work closely with the Floating Support Workers and Child Support Workers (who provide the personal support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children) to ensure that the emergency accommodation and support meets the whole range of survivors’ needs.
The post holder will be responsible for the Health and Safety and maintenance of emergency safe accommodation units in multiple 1–3-bedroom properties across Warwickshire. This will include the practical set up and maintenance of home furnishings and utilities in each property and the management of the cleaning and replacements required between each use of the accommodation unit.
The post holder will provide support to survivors fleeing domestic abuse around accessing housing benefit for the dispersed accommodation and support survivors with exploring and accessing move on accommodation.
The Housing Support Worker (HSW) will be responsible for ensuring that the properties will maintain Refuge’s accommodation standards and comply with all Health and Safety legislation and requirements.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

This role will be based in both HMP Bronzefield and in our community-based hubs in South London, delivering specialist housing support with women impacted by the criminal justice system in prison and the community.
Key responsibility areas
- To deliver an effective accommodation intervention for women impacted by the criminal justice system.
- To develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as housing departments, probation, prison, to ensure a collaborative approach to women’s accommodation needs.
- To provide expert advice and support to colleagues, including upskilling through information and training sessions.
- To work with colleagues to take a system change approach to tackling key issues, such as housing, for women affected by the criminal justice system.

About The Role
St Mungo’ s Hackney Move On service provides semi-independent accommodation consisting of 39 bed spaces split between 7 shared properties to people exiting short stay/long term hostel/supported housing provisions in preparation for independent general needs accommodation. Clients accessing our services have all experienced homelessness, may be in recovery for substance or alcohol use or an addressed mental health need or are currently positively engaged with external services around any identified needs.
Our team is looking for a Housing and Lettings Worker who will play a key role in providing a welcoming, safe and supportive environment while providing housing and tenancy related management support to clients at the service. You will be responsible for the quick turn-around of bed space voids and supporting new/current clients with benefits claims, accessing relevant health care and treatment appointments and signposting to other relevant support services. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team in to ensure that a person-centred approach is taken when working with clients
- Advice and assistance to clients in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
- Advice and assistance to clients to identify and access move-on options
- Taking the lead on the process of clearing rooms when residents leave, deal with housing management and maintenance issues across our 7 sites and support the day to day running of the office and other communal areas.
Hackney Move On is staffed on a rota basis between the hours of 9am–9pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays and includes periods of lone working.
About you
This role will suit people with some experience of housing or property management, experience of providing excellent service and managing complex and difficult situations in relation to people. You should also have:
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with others whilst managing your own time.
- A non-judgemental approach to working with homeless people and an understanding of the needs and support requirements of vulnerable clients on low (or no) incomes; including those with mental health and/or substance dependency problems.
- Ability to learn internal systems, processes and IT applications to manage compliance within the service.
- Good organizational and time management skills.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The role is responsible for delivering full housing management services across a portfolio of 50–100 supported accommodation units, with a focus on tenancy sustainment, legal compliance, and strong financial performance. This includes facilitating onboarding and exit processes for service users, promoting tenancy expectations early on, and embedding a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIPE) approach. Accurate and GDPR-compliant tenancy records must be maintained, with regular monitoring and reporting on tenancy issues through internal dashboards and quarterly reviews.
The position also involves driving rent and service charge collection, preventing arrears through proactive engagement, and taking recovery action where needed. The postholder will provide specialist advice on housing benefits, manage claims and appeals, and oversee invoicing and reconciliation with external agencies. Additionally, they will ensure timely repair reporting and resolution, maintain communication with residents and staff on maintenance progress, and uphold property standards to meet compliance requirements.

Here's what the team will be looking for
The role requires strong experience in rent collection, arrears recovery, and applying the pre-action protocol, alongside the ability to manage welfare benefit claims and navigate complex DWP and Housing Benefit systems. It involves working directly with vulnerable individuals, including those experiencing mental health issues, substance dependency, domestic abuse, and young people with additional support needs. The post demands in-depth knowledge of tenancy and housing management functions, a good understanding of benefits systems, and awareness of the legal framework surrounding arrears enforcement. Experience in partnership working with local authorities, support workers, and external agencies is essential.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and housing management systems, with the ability to maintain accurate electronic records, analyse and present financial data, and produce high-quality written communications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital, as is the ability to work sensitively with service users while building effective relationships with stakeholders. The role requires self-motivation, excellent time management, the ability to work independently, a strong sense of accountability, and the flexibility to travel between accommodation sites to meet service users in person.
