About the Role
Smart Works Greater Manchester opened its first centre in 2015 and expanded with a second centre in Manchester city centre in 2023. The Partnerships & Fundraising Manager will have responsibility for all aspects of fundraising including the design and delivery of Smart Works Greater Manchester’s annual fundraising strategy and activity plan with a clear purpose of ensuring our long-term sustainability. They will focus on the corporate and stakeholder partnership fundraising activity, to generate a six‑figure annual income portfolio.
They will work with the Head of Smart Works Greater Manchester and the Board of Trustees to deliver the fundraising strategy, activity plan and support the organisation’s long‑term sustainability.

The Regional Fundraising Manager (National Programme Development) will lead the creation, development and delivery of Camphill Village Trust’s community fundraising programme.
You will establish community fundraising as a sustainable and growing income stream across the trust by creating a framework that can be scaled across Camphill Village Trust nationally.
This role combines strategic planning, relationship building, and programme development but also encompasses hands-on delivery across our northern communities. Main Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver a community fundraising strategy that lays the foundations for long-term national growth.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days per week based within Camphill Village Trust communities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being out in the community. This is not a desk-based fundraising role. You will spend significant time building relationships, identifying opportunities, meeting supporters and representing Camphill Village Trust across the region.
The successful candidate should live within reasonable commuting distance of our three communities in the north-east (based in North Yorkshire and Middlesbrough). About the role:
As a Project Worker at our Stacey Street service in Islington, you’ll support adults who have experienced homelessness or rough sleeping to rebuild stability and move towards independent living. This is a hands-on role in a busy hostel environment where no two days are the same.
You’ll work directly with residents who may be navigating challenges linked to mental health, substance use, trauma or contact with the criminal justice system. Through strengths-based support planning and clear risk management, you’ll help individuals identify goals, overcome barriers and take practical steps forward. From supporting someone to engage with treatment, to sustaining a tenancy or accessing training and employment, your work will focus on realistic, sustainable progress.
Day to day, you’ll build trusted relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate the right support at the right time, ensuring residents are prepared for successful move-on. You’ll keep accurate records, respond calmly in challenging situations and contribute to a psychologically informed environment where people feel respected and motivated to change.

About the role
