Dementia UK is looking for a Stewardship Executive to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This is an exciting new role to the charity as a result of our five-year strategy and ambitious plans to grow and diversify our income. This role will help to deliver a consistent and meaningful experience for supporters across Philanthropy and Partnerships.

This is a varied coordination and supporter stewardship role at the centre of the team. You will play a key role in coordinating stewardship activities such as thanking, supporter communications and cultivation and stewardship events, including our annual carol concert. FORCE Cancer Charity is seeking a Community Fundraiser to join our Income Generation team. This is a rewarding role,  focused on building relationships with supporters, growing fundraising income and raising awareness of FORCE and our work across Exeter and the wider Devon community.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and strengthening relationships with new and existing supporters, ensuring individuals, community groups, schools and local businesses receive an exceptional level of support and engagement. The role will focus on identifying and securing new community fundraising opportunities, supporting existing fundraising activity, and helping to deliver ambitious income growth targets.

A central part of the role will involve engaging with local schools, clubs, associations, volunteers and community groups to inspire support for FORCE’s work supporting people affected by cancer. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, organised and personable individual with strong relationship-building and communication skills. You may already have experience within fundraising or be able to demonstrate transferable skills from a customer-facing, community engagement, sales, or relationship management background. You will be confident managing multiple priorities, engaging with a wide range of audiences, and working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

About the role

Working closely with the Lendwithcare Marketing Manager, the Lendwithcare Marketing Executive will deliver an exciting range of supporter communications and fundraising campaigns to drive loan funding and increase donations. In addition, the role will oversee the approval of up to 600 loan profiles published to the Lendwithcare website each month. This will include working closely with Lendwithcare colleagues to ensure a steady supply of profiles from local partners and growing a team of remote volunteers to edit the text provided to a high standard. The Lendwithcare Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in helping Lendwithcare to drive both loan funding and donations to support CARE’s mission across both acquisition and retention. This means working across both paid advertising campaigns (including Meta), key supporter emails, and other channels as required.

About this role

Barking & Dagenham Giving (BD Giving), an independent grant-making charity, is looking for a new Programme & Engagement Coordinator. 

We are a small and highly passionate team with the ambition to revolutionise the way funding works. Our work is about shifting decision-making power into the hands of local people who are disadvantaged and disenfranchised. We’re actively leading a movement within our borough’s social sector, among funders in London, and national charities. Over the past five years we have facilitated over £1 million in grant distribution and social investments and piloted an innovative £1.5m community-led investment fund through radical participatory approaches that have inspired other London boroughs, trusts and foundations.

You will work within the Programmes team and wider organisation to support people to make decisions that affect their lives by creating spaces where they can explore new ways of working together, and by equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to inform decision-making. This includes supporting innovative participatory programmes through delivery and administrative support.

We have a superb office space in central Barking and regularly deliver programmes across the borough, brining in residents and organisations as a hub of community activity. 

Job Description

What experience is needed?

• Someone with experience, knowledge or interest of working with local communities, with a focus on people-centred delivery and fostering collaboration

• Some experience and understanding of what it takes to manage a project on time and to a high standard

• Prior experience in community development, youth work, grant making, or facilitation to support inclusive programme design

• Understanding of how to work with community groups, people and organisations from different cultures and backgrounds

• We are particularly interested in candidates from Barking and Dagenham and global majority backgrounds

About the role

We are seeking an experienced membership engagement professional to plan and deliver dynamic programme of activities for our Fellowship. Informed by insight gathered through a recent Fellows’ survey, you’ll help shape a more connected and active membership, ensuring activities align with the RSE’s mission of “knowledge made useful”.

Working closely with Fellows and colleagues across the organisation, the Membership Engagement Officer will plan and deliver a varied programme of events, networking, and engagement opportunities. You will also collaborate with the Communications team to develop targeted, meaningful content that strengthens relationship and encourages participation.

This is a new and exciting role focused on building a culture of active engagement. You’ll convene and support an advisory group, evaluate the impact of activities, and continuously refine the programme using data and feedback.

About you

You will bring:

• A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience of delivering membership engagement activities in a similar context
• Proven experience of strategically planning engagement in response to insight
• An understanding of membership organisations, professional and/or interdisciplinary networks
• Experience of working with a CRM system (Customer Relationship Management)
• Strong collaborative and communication skills

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing an engagement strategy to life with measurable results. As a Fellow-led organisation, this role would suit someone who can bring great ideas whilst working in a collaborative and consultative way.
