Job description

Head of Asset Management & Development

Based: Derby (with travel across YMCA Derbyshire sites)
Salary: £51,000 – £54,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week

At YMCA Derbyshire, our buildings are homes, safe spaces and community hubs where young people and families rebuild their lives. You’ll lead how we grow, manage and future-proof these spaces for the next decade.

You will shape and deliver our 10-year Development Strategy, build a strong pipeline of viable opportunities through partnerships and Homes England funding, and ensure our estate is safe, compliant, efficient and delivering real value for money.

Alongside development, you’ll take strategic ownership of asset management, planned and major works, compliance, property data, utilities, risk management and sustainability performance across the organisation.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll provide the financial oversight, governance and direction that ensures our property portfolio supports long-term resilience, growth and community impact.

Driving licence and access to a car essential.
