You'll work as part of one of many teams, which focus on engaging our supporters and ensuring they continue to give their support. You will do this by supporting on high value fundraising events and activities .
The varied role sits within the Volunteer Board Fundraising team which leads income generation through regional and national volunteer boards, volunteer-led fundraising initiatives and delivery of special events through our high value event committees.
These activities play a vital role in maximising sustainable income, engaging senior volunteers, and supporting long -term supporter relationships.
Job purpose
• To contribute towards achieving the team’s objectives by providing event logistics, finance and admin support to the team.
• To support the team in delivering the agreed departmental strategy, goals and fundraising budget.

Main duties and responsibilities
• To support Senior E vent Managers with the development and delivery of their events, by attending committee meetings, carrying out tasks such as securing prizes, recruiting volunteers, managing small suppliers and completing admin tasks to agreed standards and deadlines.

• To carry out research for the development of events, such as researching new venues and prize partners.

The Role:

Money Advice Referral Tool Coordinator - Job Description
Resolve Poverty works locally to end poverty nationally through a range of strategic and policy, knowledge development and practical delivery activities. We are a growing organisation working in multiple localities across the country, often partnering with local councils and other public bodies and working with them and their VCFSE sector partners.
Our Money Advice Referral Tool (MART) currently operates in eight local authority areas. This will increase over the next year, with new localities coming on stream. The MART provides professionals and volunteers in non-money advice roles with the ability to understand and to effectively support people experiencing or at risk of financial hardship to access relevant money related support services. The MART is built upon the idea that the best way to support someone experiencing poverty is to maximise their income and to address any debts they may have. It also recognises that professionals and volunteers in non-money advice roles often encounter people with money worries and can act as a conduit for people to access the support they need. As such, the tools are used by people in a range of settings, including schools, health centres and local charities and community groups.
As the programme grows, we are recruiting to a new MART Coordinator role. This is an exciting role that will give someone an opportunity to develop networking, coordination and organisational skills. You will be passionate about tackling poverty and building effective partnerships.
Particulars:
Location: A combination of home based and working at Resolve Poverty’s office in St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester M12 6FZ at least two days per week, with an expectation of travel to multiple localities across the North West.

We are looking for a collaborative self-starter to take the operational lead of The Christie Charity’s finance function and oversee the financial management of The Christie Charity (Charity) group’s finances (this includes The Christie Charity, The Christie Trading Company Limited, and Northern Pathology Developments Limited), including but not limited to financial reporting, management accounting, and day-to-day financial operations. You will play a key role in building a robust financial control framework across the Charity group, and you will be expected to be hands on with respect to overseeing the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and supporting the Charity’s aim of maintaining strong governance across both charitable and commercial operations.
This post would suit an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving environment, where responsibilities may shift in response to organisational priorities. The postholder must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Previously managed under a service level agreement with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, financial management has now been fully transitioned in-house, and day-to-day operations are in the process of being transitioned into the organisation with a view to strengthen independent control and governance. This provides an excellent opportunity for the postholder to be involved in transformational projects geared towards improving the finance department’s technological infrastructure and resources to adapt to the fast-growing needs of the Charity.

The post holder will take a project management approach to coordinating and delivering volunteer-led projects across Hestia, with a particular focus on supporting Domestic Abuse services. They will be responsible for engaging, recruiting and onboarding volunteers in line with Hestia's volunteer recruitment processes, ensuring volunteers receive a welcoming and positive introduction to the organisation. Working closely with operational teams, the post holder will build strong and effective relationships with services, inspiring and supporting staff to think creatively about how volunteers can add value and enhance outcomes for the people we support. They will play a key role in developing and delivering meaningful volunteer-led activities that help women accessing Domestic Abuse services experience a greater sense of purpose, connection and joy. What do I need to bring with me?

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities and deliver successful outcomes. Previous experience of recruiting and/or supervising staff or volunteers would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
