Stephen’s Children UK is a Christian charity dedicated to providing financial support to the existing and well developed Stephen’s Children ministries in Egypt’s garbage slums outside of Cairo.
These programs are staffed by over 1,500 dedicated and compassionate individuals ready to make a difference. Over 20% of Stephen’s Children staff members grew up in these same impoverished communities. They come back with the hope to break the cycle of poverty for others, instilling a culture of hope by nurturing hearts, training minds, and teaching our families the strength of God’s love, though the provision of schools, healthcare, home visits, summer camps and much more.
As part of our ongoing growth and efforts to expand our reach in the UK, we are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Charity Fundraiser with strong social media and digital marketing skills.
Role Overview:
As a Charity Fundraiser with Social Media and Digital Marketing experience, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness and funds for our cause. You will leverage your expertise in fundraising, social media strategy, and digital marketing to develop and execute innovative campaigns that inspire individuals and organisations to engage and contribute. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact through creative and strategic digital campaigns.
We are in early discussions with a potential Patron which would significantly boost our profile, and we are in particular looking to develop partnerships with large corporate donors in line with their CSR obligations.
You will be reporting to the UK Trustees.
Key Responsibilities:
Although mostly working autonomously, you will be working with, and representing SCUK on the international Marketing and Communications Advisory Group to ensure a cohesive approach (the Communications and fund raising teams from the various Stephen’s Children entities in other nations):
- Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the charity’s mission and goals.
- Manage and grow fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, email, and digital channels, as well as occasionally organising and attending fund raising events.
- Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and corporate CSR partners to grow the charity’s financial support base.
- Organize and manage online and occasional in person fundraising events, appeals, and virtual initiatives.
- Social Media & Digital Marketing:
- Create and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, etc.) to promote fundraising efforts, events, and the charity's mission.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads, and influencer collaborations.
- Build a strong online community of supporters and engage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive posts.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital channels.
- Donor Relationship Management:
- Maintain and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors through regular communication, updates, and stewardship.
- Coordinate and distribute newsletters [?] and reports for donors, showcasing the impact of their contributions.
- Content Creation & Storytelling:
- Collaborate with the global content team to create compelling communications to a UK audience that showcase the charity’s impact and inspire action.
- Write fundraising appeals, success stories, and content that resonates with various audiences.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Use digital analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns and track fundraising progress.
- Provide regular reports on social media performance, campaign effectiveness, and donor engagement.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising, particularly within the charity sector or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and grow online communities and donor bases.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, with a focus on social media and online campaigns.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for different digital platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate when speaking in person to supporters and potential supporters, including Trust and Corporate grant applications.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to drive engagement and fundraising results.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and digital advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms (e.g., JustGiving, GoFundMe, Virgin Giving etc) and donor management tools (e.g. Raiser’s Edge etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
- Passionate about the charity’s mission and Christian values, and committed to making a difference.
- Availability to visit the work in Cairo at least once per year (funded by the Charity).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative international team.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations as they pertain to online fundraising and social media.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience working with corporate donors, Trusts or high-net-worth individuals.
- Knowledge of current fundraising trends and best practices.
- A network of contacts in the fundraising or charity sector.

About the role
The high value and campaign department at Breast Cancer Now are an ambitious team of relationship fundraisers that are committed to delivering significant growth over the next five years. Charitable trust grant-funding has a key role to play in this, with our particular focus on securing long-term committed funding for the organisation.
Our existing portfolio of charitable trust and foundation supporters includes a number of high-profile and high-value partnerships, in some cases held over decades.
We’re now seeking to increase, diversify, and drive our trusts fundraising programme to the next level. The trusts and statutory manager role will achieve this by growing our small to mid-value portfolios – significantly uplifting our conversion of supporters up to the five-figure level. Working across our organisation, you’ll create compelling propositions to secure new supporters; and deliver engaging impact communications to sustain new and existing supporters and inspire committed giving over the long-term.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a passion for making a positive impact through
relationship fundraising – and experience of success in grant fundraising in the small to mid-value area. A skilled multi-tasker, you’ll be adept in managing a high volume of prospects, applying gold-standard relationship principles consistently across your pipeline.
You’ll be responsible for our small to mid-value portfolios and for growing the cumulative value of these. You’ll build a wide knowledge base and strong understanding of our important work to effectively engage with new, potential and existing supporters. With experience in taking a proactive approach, you’ll be equipped to regularly manage multiple tasks including new supporter approaches; thanking and stewardship journeys; and gift administration tasks.
You’ll be motivated to play a supportive role in our wider department fundraising goals while thriving in a team setting.

we are looking for an Events Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in managing, developing and growing our events fundraising area income stream.
The Events Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing the event fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale, including large scale, virtual, bespoke challenge, third party and individual events. You will also lead on innovation and new projects with the aim of increasing our profile and income, to support our aim to end rough sleeping, and continue providing support to people experiencing homelessness. Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop events fundraising programme, supporting the current portfolio and leading on new activities.
- Recruit, steward and grow our event fundraisers and improve retention with engaging comms and increased donor initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities.
- Working closely with the marketing and digital fundraising team to promote and raise the profile for our events.
- Oversee end to end project management, and challenge event delivery, solving problems along the way.
- Growing a strong understanding of our donor base and using this knowledge to create, build and nurture new fundraising activities.
Where you’ll be working
In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. Travel across London and regions in the South of England is also required.
This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for hybrid working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.
Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekends will also be required to oversee relevant events. Out of hours work will be offered back in the form of time off in lieu.
While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience in events, community or individual giving fundraising, with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and positive donor journeys. Experience in volunteering, marketing or project management would also be beneficial.

The role (what you’ll actually do)
As Head of Fundraising & Communications, you will:
- Sit on the Senior Management Team and report to the CEO

The role line-manages and oversees the work of the Finance Manager who runs the day-to-day financial accounting processes, with the help of two Finance Administrators.
The role also leads on supporting members with finances, e.g. leading Treasurers' events, relevant website resources and responding to finance-related consultations.
The 2.5 days (18.75 hours) per week can be worked flexibly, and at least some of them from home, by agreement with your line manager. We would expect you to spend at least 1 days each week in our London office in Moorgate.

The role:
As Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator you will be assisting Peter Bedford Housing Association with its current strategic aims of making a difference for Tenants and Participants and achieving more through ambitious partnerships.
Situated within the housing association’s Enterprises & Training Team, you will lead the delivery of a specific project seeking to tackle food poverty and long-term development needs such as wellbeing and social connection.
You will work alongside the Pantry Coordinator to lead on developing a wrap-around service to enable access to skills training, IAG, and volunteering opportunities for PBHA’s tenants and local communities.
In this role you will develop partnerships to help Peter Bedford Housing Association listen to community needs collaborating with groups supporting global majority individuals to co-produce activities with wellbeing and community connection at its core. A key target of this important project is to work collaboratively to ensure Peter Bedford Housing Association activities and services are increasingly accessible and relevant to any local person who wishes to join.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with organisations supporting disadvantaged adults to develop skills and build resilience.
- Work collaboratively with local partners to co-produce services which reflect community needs.
- Organise and deliver events, and workshops that develop community cohesion.
- Oversee the delivery of exciting new activities, groups and workshops for Peter Bedford Housing Association tenants and the local community.
- Recruit & Support 15 volunteers to support with delivery of services.
- Apply learning gained through collaboration to adapt and improve the organisation’s approach to engaging individuals from marginalised groups.
- Increase Peter Bedford Housing Association’s community presence to promote its activities & services across the community.
- Monitor and evaluate impact over the course of the 1-year project.
- Develop new relationships with organisations that can support the delivery of a wrap-around service including money advice, talking therapies, pro bono legal advice and learning & development.
- Manage a team of volunteers to support with the delivery of services such as digital inclusion, events and marketing & communications.
Person specification:
Essential:
- At least 1 years’ experience working with services promoting learning & development, wellbeing and improving people’s outcomes.
- An understanding of community engagement, poverty reduction initiatives and improving outcomes.
- Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers.
- Experience of providing training and delivering engaging presentations in public.
- Good computer literacy including the ability to use Windows applications and word processing and database packages. This also includes the ability to use the Internet and to draft and send e-mails, marketing and communications for events.
- Experience of focusing on individuals’ strengths and of learning from mistakes.
- Experience of working in an outcomes focused way.
- A demonstrable commitment to promoting social inclusion through collaboration and innovation.
- Can positively contribute and take initiative, good negotiation skills
- Able to constructively challenge and lead positive change- including with assumed constraints and the abilities of people with ongoing mental health needs.
- Promotes positive risk taking and supporting people to find their own solutions to engrained challenges.
- Good verbal, written & positive interpersonal communication skills, ensuring that stakeholders are treated with respect and dignity and are not judged.
- Organise work effectively by prioritising, planning and excellent time management.
Desirable:
- Holds a level 3 award in education and training, level 2/level 3 information, advice and guidance qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to make engaging presentations in public.
- Experience of forging working relationships with the voluntary and statutory sector.
