Job Title: Trust & Foundations Officer
Reporting To: Trusts and Foundations Manager
Salary Range: £33,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid, across London sites and Sheffield, with expectation to attend meetings in London, once a month minimum

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK.
Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.
Purpose of the Job
Supporting the step change in growth of the Statutory, Trusts and Foundations income stream.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Manager and Senior Managers to manage portfolio through excellent stewardship
- Supporting the creation of a high-quality pipeline of new funding opportunities
- Manage a portfolio of low-level trusts and foundations, with opportunity to progress to mid-level funders
- Write compelling and visually engaging funding applications to new and existing trusts, working in collaboration with finance colleagues to ensure accurate budget and income allocation
- Manage significant mailing programmes to prospects, each campaign focused on specific projects or urgent appeals, including follow up contact
- Supporting the timely and accurate submission of funding proposals considering finder deadlines and application requirements
- Excellent stewardship of existing funders through timely submission of repots and thank you correspondence
- Monitoring and evaluation of projects
- Supporting colleagues with important bid administration and activity
- Supporting and attending stewardship events as required
- Adherence to GDPR and relevant legislation and guidelines of the Fundraising Regulator

Job Description
This is a responsible position managing the accounts and payroll of a medium-sized West London youth charity. The role is central to maintaining the charity’s financial wellbeing and thereby enhancing opportunities for young people.
It is a part-time role, with plenty of flexibility. Working from home and coming into our office at least once a week, you can spread the weekly hours across 3, 4 or 5 days – whatever works for you. You’ll be working closely with the Treasurer, Chief Executive, Fundraiser and Programme Director as well as our HR Manager and Operations Manager, with whom you will share some admin support.

Role Requirements
· Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable/grants claims, bank reconciliations, general accounting functions.
· Perform monthly journals and reconciliation of balance sheet/control accounts, including accruals, prepayments, deferred income and fixed assets.
· Claim monthly the Gift Aid that has not already been collected through donation platforms.
· Produce timely and accurate monthly reports for budget holders to help them effectively manage their budgets, ensuring that spend is being properly tracked and allocated against programmes and grants/donations.
· Hold regular meetings with budget holders following the production of the monthly reports.
· Work with the CEO, Treasurer, Fundraiser and programme/operational budget holders where necessary to:
o Provide the Finance Committee with a monthly dashboard
o Co-ordinate the annual budget process, and produce quarterly financial forecasts.
o Manage cashflow projection
· Support the Monitoring and Evaluation manager with donor reports
· Liaise with the auditors throughout the audit process, providing supporting schedules and grant documentation in support of the TB figures provided.
· Prepare the statutory annual accounts for review by the auditors.
· Manage payroll (30+staff), pensions and the allocation of project personnel costs. This includes liaison with the HR and programme managers to ensure the Employment Hero payroll system is processing HR information and timesheets correctly.
· Process improvement – work with key stakeholders to ensure that finance processes are fit for purpose and implementing change where improvements can/should be made.
· Ensure the Avenues has appropriate internal controls in place and is meeting all tax and audit obligations.
· Preparation and maintenance of a finance manual.
· Deal with general finance queries, both externally and from members of the team
· Co-supervise the finance and operations administrator
Person Requirements
· Accountancy qualification eg- ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT Professional Level or QBE
· Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role.
· Previous experience in the charity sector would be highly desirable although not essential.
· Good knowledge of QuickBooks system and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
· Experience of process improvement and system implementation an advantage.
· Strong communication skills well versed in speaking finance with non-finance colleagues.
· Ability to adhere to deadlines
· Confident in holding self and others to account
· Ability to work to high standards, without needing detailed supervision

Black Thrive is looking for a Project Officer to support community-led change as we improve Black LGBTQ+ mental health and wellbeing across the Black Thrive localities through our programme Black Queer & Thriving.
Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.
We're looking for someone who is confident in supporting the design and delivery of community-led research projects, supporting community engagement activities and providing administrative support to the programme. An understanding of health inequities, systemic racism and the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ communities is essential.
This role will focus on co-production, community engagement and participatory research. The Role
As the Project Manager, you will lead Sister Circle’s Healing Conversations Programme contribution to the SafeRoots DASA Partnership. The role has three deliverables: Providing trauma counselling, peer support for pregnancy/baby loss and birth trauma and our Women’s Conversation Cafe sessions, as part of a wider support offer through our SafeRoots Partnership (funded by MOPAC/DASA).

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to support delivery of our new programme, Reading Reboot, funded by the Charlotte Aitken Trust, and to support the SLA to grow its reach and impact. Reading Reboot is being developed to address the reading crisis and restore a love of reading for young people in Year 8, in communities facing the greatest disadvantage. This is an opportunity to lead a flagship national programme with the potential to shape future investment in school libraries, in a supportive, mission-driven team culture within a small but influential charity.
The Reading Reboot programme will establish librarian-led social book clubs in over 100 under-funded secondary school libraries across the UK and reach more than 6,000 young people directly, alongside librarians, senior leaders and wider school communities. Reading Reboot places school librarians at the heart of delivery, combining new book stock, inspiring author engagement, appealing library spaces, and a robust evaluation to evidence impact and inform future national roll-out.
The Project Manager will lead on development and delivery, working closely with the CEO, a Project Board and external evaluation team to ensure the programme meets its objectives on time, within budget and to a high quality. They will recruit and coordinate schools and librarians, work with partners and funders, and ensure that learning and impact are captured and shared across the sector. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders, the Project Manager will be the main point of contact for the programme and will support the CEO and Project Board with timely updates, papers and participation in meetings. Successful candidates will have extensive and demonstrable experience of project management in schools or youth settings. Experience of training development and delivery will be an advantage.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As we continue to grow, LightEn is seeking a Project Manager, Publishing, to lead and coordinate the delivery of our publishing projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will manage book projects end to end - working closely with authors to understand and support their creative vision, guiding manuscripts through the writing and editorial process, and shepherding each title through production and release.
You will act as a central point of coordination across authors, editors, designers, production partners, and internal teams, ensuring timelines, quality, and shared intent are upheld across multiple formats and derivatives, including print, eBook, audiobook, and translations. You will also provide regular progress updates to the Editorial Director and key stakeholders, helping to maintain clarity, momentum, and alignment throughout the publishing lifecycle.

Job responsibilities include:
- Meet directly with authors to understand their creative vision, support their ideas, and help bring their books to life from concept through publication.

- Manage publishing projects end to end, tracking manuscripts, key milestones, schedules, and deliverables to ensure books progress smoothly and on time.
- Coordinate and liaise with editors, designers, production partners, translators, narrators, and internal teams to ensure alignment across all stages of the publishing lifecycle.
- Oversee the delivery of multiple formats and derivatives, including print, eBook, audiobook, and translated editions, ensuring quality and consistency across each.

Skills & Qualities

About the role:
We are seeking a highly organised and driven Project and Operations Manager to help streamline processes, deliver key initiatives, and support our continued growth in our Training team. In this role, you will bring together complex communications, requests, and ideas, translating them into clear plans, structured workflows, and effective processes that ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects. You will combine strong planning and organisational expertise with a practical, hands-on approach to implementation. Comfortable managing competing priorities, you will remain flexible and adaptable, responding effectively to unforeseen challenges while keeping projects on track.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the project management of all training programmes and services, ensuring effective planning, coordination, delivery, evaluation, and reporting

Provide day-to-day coordination and effective leadership, including clear direction and support to the training team (currently three reports)

Oversee all aspects of contract delivery, including project planning, timelines, budget management, communications, and reporting to clients, partners and internal teams

Manage and maintain updates of a training calendar identifying activity, allocating trainers to training courses to ensure quality delivery of courses

Working with managers and team in Training, oversee the Assistant Trainers (freelance trainers) communications, allocations, contracts, feedback and allocation of work

Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with external partners and clients, ensuring all interactions reflect the strategic direction and protect the reputation of the charity

Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, using strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Monitor and report on project progress and performance, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all training activities and identifying and raising risks or issues early

Working with managers in Finance and Training, set realistic targets, manage budgets, cross-checking invoices, and capacity, and track project performance against agreed KPIs

Support quality assurance across training programmes, including accreditation requirements, reviewing and proofreading materials, adherence to brand, copyright and maintaining high standards of training materials

Working with managers in Marketing and Training. oversee and provide reports on training evaluation data and feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Working collaboratively with the Marketing team to ensure a consistent flow of content to promote the courses, such as upcoming training, feedback quotes and data, website updates, training videos and raising courses that align with campaigns

Working with managers in Communications, implement improvements to systems, processes, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and the client experience from initial enquiry through to evaluation

Support the growth of the organisation’s training offer by identifying and assessing opportunities for new partnerships, services, and income generation
-
Maintain oversight of the effective and consistent use of operational systems and platforms across the team (such as Salesforce, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, Monday), recommending improvements where appropriate
-
Working across the training team, ensure activities comply with relevant policies and regulations, including health and safety, safeguarding, suicide prevention, and ethical standards

Undertake additional duties as required to improve the function of the Training team, as directed by your line manager.

Job Summary
This is a three-year National Lottery funded role which will support ReMind’s post diagnosis support team to deliver and further develop a programme of interventions and resources for those diagnosed with dementia, their carers and families in communities in BA2, BA3 and BS31. This role is key to supporting delivery of a suite of annual activities including courses, events, information days and peer support sessions. The post holder will work with the Head of Engagement, Programme Manager and wider project team to contribute towards planning and to deliver support interventions as well as supporting local partnership working, ensuring take-up of interventions and an excellent beneficiary experience.
ReMind UK overview
ReMind UK is an independent charity and internationally renowned centre for research, diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Our research aims to improve life for people with dementia and their families and carers, and to find drug and non-drug treatments for people with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other diseases predominantly affecting older people. Our contracted NHS Memory Clinic service, private memory assessments and allied activities provide support to people affected. We are currently in an ambitious phase of organizational development increasing our impact through clinical and academic research and our post diagnosis support. We work closely with the Universities of Bath, Bristol and other research Institutions, both nationally and internationally and with the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
The Role
This is an exciting and varied role which will suit an organised and compassionate individual who loves working face to face with groups and supporting people to live their best life. You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage people in activities ensuring the person with dementia can fully participate as well as carers. As Facilitator, you will use your insight into what works best in supporting those affected by cognitive impairment to support design of our interventions for people diagnosed with a memory condition and those who care for them. You will work closely with staff, volunteers, partners and beneficiaries to deliver accessible, safe and supportive events and course sessions, ensuring that people who engage with the post-diagnosis support programme, connect with others with shared experience, are adequately supported to take part and have fun, and receive appropriate resources to help them to live well with dementia for as long as possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver friendly, stimulating, person-centred interventions on behalf of ReMind UK, including courses in local community venues, seasonal group activities and events and Carers Information Days as agreed with the Programme Manager.
2. Take responsibility for opening up, clearing up and locking venues as required.
3. Manage volunteers during sessions ensuring roles are organized and volunteers briefed on activities and schedule.
4. Facilitate sessions including welcoming participants,, greeting guest speakers, introducing and setting up activities, supporting participants and ensuring everyone is able to fully participate with the support of staff and volunteers.
5. Gather feedback from groups and adjust activities or session content and timings as needed to ensure that interventions are tailored to the group and individual needs and preferences are met.
6. Support the Project Team through contributing insight and experience from working closely with beneficiaries in a variety of venues to design year-round evidence-based interventions that meet the needs of participants and funders.
7. Working with the Programme Manager, support awareness raising, researching, initiating and maintaining partnerships with local community groups, health care providers and stakeholders to ensure ReMind UK maximizes reach and creates adequate awareness of the post-diagnosis support programme.
8. Ensure that materials and resources used at events, groups and courses are requested and purchased in good time and taken to each intervention.
9. Work with the Project Team to ensure attendance and evaluation data is captured at each intervention, allowing time for collection of feedback from participants and ensuring data is accurately captured through processes set out by the Programme Manager for reporting to funders and for continuous improvement of interventions.
10. Contribute to the production of Risk Assessments and mitigations to ensure safeguarding of beneficiaries during interventions.
11. Act on and disseminate any feedback or complaints from beneficiaries using insight to inform changes to interventions or delivery and if a complaint, report to the wider Project Team and manage in accordance with the complaints procedure.
12. Speak to beneficiaries expressing an interest or being referred to the programme to ensure they are appropriately allocated a suitable event or course
13. Gather stories, testimonials and images from interventions and keep up to date records of permissions for use, ensuring these are communicated with the team and input onto the CRM.
14. Any other reasonable duties requested appropriate to the role, your skills and responsibilities.

To help us achieve this, we’re looking for a proactive and detail driven production specialist who can bring clarity, structure and momentum to our digital learning production workflows. As our Digital Learning Production Scheduler, you will own the end to end production lifecycle of multiple digital learning resources: from scoping and scheduling through development, quality assurance and release.
What you’ll be doing
- Plan, track and coordinate digital learning production across multiple projects
- Keep schedules and trackers up to date, ensuring everyone has a clear view of deadlines, dependencies and risks
- Work closely with our Learning Designers, Digital Content Developers, SMEs and Project Leads to keep delivery on track
- Maintain strong production processes — intake, prioritisation, reviews, approvals and release
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks and slippage, working with the Digital Learning Manager and Project Manager to keep projects moving
- Support rigorous quality assurance, version control and release management
- Ensure learning resources are published accurately and consistently to our LMS
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation and production standards
- This is a hands on, highly collaborative role at the heart of our digital learning operation.
