The Role

Working closely with our Co‑Founders and partners, you will help deliver complex projects to the highest standards, contribute to the evolution of our systems and processes, and ensure every decision is grounded in impact, quality and long‑term social value. Day to day, you will take ownership of multiple live projects at varying stages, from pre‑application engagement and support through the planning process, to end‑to‑end delivery, working closely with clients, design teams and professional consultants throughout. You will be responsible for managing consultants, budgets, programmes, on‑site delivery, safety compliance, stakeholder communication, team coordination, and clear reporting to senior leaders and clients.

About You

You will bring accomplished project management skills, experience in housing or construction environments, and a proven ability to lead partners and manage stakeholders with confidence. Highly organised and detail‑driven, you combine strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication and negotiation skills with a track record of delivery. You will also be comfortable working across multiple IT systems and curious about how AI can enhance project management, streamline processes and strengthen outcomes. While not essential, MRICS accreditation or a BSc in Construction Management would be beneficial.

Role Purpose

Responsible for helping to ensure the effective delivery of the Regional Fundraising strategy in relation to generating sustainable income from third parties and campaigns. You will primarily focus on recruiting support from community groups and associations, businesses and individuals across the South as well as supporting the growth and diversity of the challenge events portfolio.

You will plan, market, deliver and grow your portfolio ensuring all objectives, financial and non-financial are achieved, with an active focus on cost-effective ideas, growth and contingency plans.

Working closely with our service delivery teams across the UK to develop fundraising lead networks, building a robust and community driven income pipeline. You will build powerful, local relationships across your region, and ensure every supporter has an exceptional fundraising experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of a fundraising plan to maximise income generation across the designated area, in line with the overall fundraising strategy.
• Build knowledge of Child Bereavement UK supporters in the area and develop a community of supporters who have a tangible relationship with our work.
• Build relationships with individual supporters, community organisations, faith groups, schools and education facilities, regional corporates and challenge event participants.
• Contribute to the development of annual income and expenditure budgets, monitoring results and contributing to regular reforecasts, mitigation and contingency planning to ensure budget is achieved.
• Attract new support and nurture and develop existing support by providing excellent stewardship to maximise supporter journey, value and retention and in-turn income.
• Work alongside the Head of Regional Fundraising and Challenge Event team to develop and promote successful and engaging off-the-shelf fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and challenge events to engage and encourage potential supporters, using research to spot trends and popular initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with the Challenge Event team and Communications team to develop and implement marketing and social media plans for all events/activities.
• Analyse the potential risks and benefits of fundraising events/activities considering risk, time/cost ratios, and overall ROI, to focus effort accordingly.
• Ensure all associated activities are compliant with charity law, regulatory requirements, and best practice, including Data Protection Act and GDPR.
• Develop and follow processes and systems to ensure the effective management of all relevant information, including maintaining and assuming responsibility for accurate information on the charity’s Sales Force database and the community section of the website.
• Work with the Head of Regional Fundraising to recruit Fundraising Committees across the region.

Essential

The PKD Charity is looking for an exceptional communicator and relationship-builder to lead patient involvement in groundbreaking PKD research.

This is not a standard engagement role.

You will help ensure that the voices, experiences and priorities of people living with polycystic kidney disease directly influence research, clinical studies and future healthcare decisions across the UK.

PKD affects around 70,000 people in the UK. It causes kidney failure, lifelong health complications and reduced life expectancy. There is currently no cure.

About the Role

Headway UK developed the Approved Provider Scheme in 2011, which is a voluntary standards-based accreditation, for rehabilitation and residential units for people with a brain injury and we are looking for a new part time team member.

• Location: East or Midlands based, either home based or in Headway UK’s office in Nottingham.
• Salary: £35,000 FTE (pro rata for 21 hours per week) (days are flexible, but the working pattern would ideally include either Tuesday or Friday for service coverage).

The accreditation of units is then published for families, individuals and professionals to help inform their choices when identifying suitable provision for brain injury survivors. The role will involve, conducting and writing assessments and working with the Approved Provider and Training Manager to manage Lead Assessors, who are based around the UK and the Service User Perspective Assessors, who are either brain injury survivors, or family members/ carers.

Want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning, delivery and development including community led/owned programmes. You will have experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in Yorkshire and The Humber, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

Role Purpose

The Partnerships Development Lead will be responsible for proactively generating significant income from five and six figure corporate partnerships.

You will manage the new business pipeline, identify new opportunities with prospective corporate partners and develop lasting relationships with them. You will develop compelling applications and creative partnerships proposals securing new and exciting partnerships for Child Bereavement UK.

Role Purpose

The Education Trainer supports the Education Manager in the design and delivery of specialist, evidence-informed trainings programmes for education professionals equipping them to support bereaved children, young people, adults and communities.

Using trauma-informed, evidence-based content delivered through both digital platforms and in-person, the role ensures schools and educational staff have practical tools to identify, respond to, support and/or refer bereaved children, young people and adults.

Events and Community Fundraising is an established income stream at Breast Cancer UK but we know there is potential to grow, so we’re investing in proactively developing the area. What do we do? 

In the UK today, around 59,000 women and 420 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. 1 in 7 women will develop the disease at some point in their lives. 

But we believe in a future where fewer people have to face this devastating disease - because we know that at least 30% of breast cancer cases are preventable. 

By making changes to modifiable lifestyle and environmental risk factors, we can drive cases down. Our focus on prevention is unique - we are shining a light on the changes we can make at an individual and societal level to prevent breast cancer.

To achieve this, we: 

• Deliver an education programme - empowering individuals with trustworthy, science-backed information and guidance to help them understand and reduce their risk. 
• Fund research into the causes of breast cancer —while significant progress has been made in improving survival rates through new treatments, we are dedicated to ensuring fewer people ever receive a diagnosis.

Location: Home based- Please note that while the role is primarily remote, candidates must be based in the UK due to periodic travel requirements, including attendance at conferences and other in-person meetings. 

Hours: Part time - 18 hours 

Terms: One-year fixed term contract (with a possibility of extending the role funding allowing)

Salary: FTE £24,750 (actual £11,880)

ABOUT US

PANS and PANDAS are complex neuro-psychiatric conditions which are frequently 

misunderstood and misdiagnosed. PANS PANDAS UK are the only charity in the UK 

working to improve outcomes and ensure brighter futures for people affected by PANS and PANDAS. 

We provide support and information to families, and work tirelessly to inform medical 

practice, raise awareness, engage with medical, social work and educational 

professionals, and much more. 

We are a small team based at home in various UK locations. We keep in touch frequently online and have a warm, supportive and positive culture. 

OVERALL PURPOSE 

The Education Training Development Manager will lead the operational development, and delivery of the national education training programme, ensuring it aligns with organisational priorities and emerging national guidance. The role is responsible for the coordination, growth and quality assurance of PANS PANDAS UK’s national CPD training offer for teachers and educational psychologists (EPs), supporting the development and delivery of high‑quality training modules and strengthening partnerships.

The role reports to and works in close collaboration with the PANS PANDAS UK Education Lead, who retains overall ownership, strategic responsibility and final decision‑making authority for the training programme and the wider education strategy.

Central to this role is working collaboratively with the PANS and PANDAS community and the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) to ensure all training is informed by lived experience.

Key Responsibilities

Programme & Content Development

• Jointly review, update and refine existing CPD materials with the Education Lead, informed by national guidance and emerging research, with the Education Lead holding overall responsibility
• Support development of new training modules and associated materials.
• Explore future delivery models to expand national reach and scalability.
• Identify opportunities for integration of PANS or PANDAS training/materials within University/Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and other relevant programmes.
• Work collaboratively with the PANS PANDAS community and Youth Advisory Board (YAB) to ensure training reflects lived experience.

Trainer Recruitment & Capacity Building

• Recruit and induct additional trainers.
• Support trainer development.
• Maintain consistent quality standards.
• Deliver priority or pilot training sessions when needed to help support programme growth and maintain delivery capacity.

Strategic Programme Oversight

• Provide leadership and direction for the development and delivery of the national education training programme within the strategic framework set by the Education Lead.
• Ensure training content and delivery models align with organisational priorities and upcoming national guidance.
• Lead long-term programme planning, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Partnership Development & Sector Engagement

• Build relationships with MATs, LAs, Universities and other national relevant organisations.
• Work with the charity Communications and Engagement Officer to promote the training models across social media and education networks.
• Attend and present at education sector events and networks to raise awareness of training opportunities.

Commissioning & Income Support

• Develop commissioning packages tailored to MATs, LA’s and other relevant organisations.
• Support pricing structures.
• Identify sustainable income opportunities for the charity via the training.

Quality Assurance & Evaluation

• Oversee monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Prepare reports for the charity as required.

Operational Coordination

• Coordinate scheduling, setup and delivery logistics for all training sessions.
• Manage bookings, confirmations, resource distribution, attendance recording and data collection
• Lead regular training team meetings to support planning and quality assurance.
• Support management and storage of training assets.
• Maintain regular communication with the Education Lead.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential

• Relevant qualifications (teaching, SEND, adult learning, training design, project management).
• Ability to set priorities and align training with national guidance.
• Experience shaping or influencing SEND practice or programme development within an education context.
• Relationship building skills within the education sector.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the UK education sector.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms.
• Willingness to gain an in depth understanding of PANS or PANDAS.
• Ability to work sensitively and confidently with the PANS and PANDAS community, including the YAB, creating safe and inclusive spaces.

Desirable

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
• Experience contributing to strategic planning within education, a charity or Local Authority.
• Experience with CPD
• Experience leading multiagency or cross sector initiatives.
