About Us 

Gulab Sorkh Foundation (GSF) is an independent charity supporting former members of the Afghan security forces and their families, who have come to the UK under the Government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). Our mission is to help these individuals rebuild their lives, access support, and integrate fully into British society. 

We have recently been awarded new funding under the Communities for Afghans (CfA) Phase 2 programme. This funding allows us to expand our work supporting Afghan families through Sponsor Groups, which is why we are growing our team to ensure we can provide high-quality support to all participants. 

About the Role 

You will be the driving force behind the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of Sponsor Groups. Success in this role depends on your ability to inspire, motivate and sustain long-term commitment from these groups, ensuring they are confident, supported, and fully equipped to welcome Afghan households. 

You will contribute to developing innovative strategues to attract new Sponsor Groups, maintain strong engagement, and address challenges proactively, ensuring a high-performing network across the UK. 

This is a busy and varied role, combining community engagement with strategic partnership. You will play a key role in shaping GSF’s growing national programme, ensuring our families receive the care and opportunities they need to thrive in the UK.  We are looking for someone who is proactive and highly organised, with a genuine passion for supporting refugee communities.

Youth Development Outreach Worker

Oasis Community Hub Hadley and North Middlesex University Hospital

 Hours: Full-Time

Contract: Fixed Term to March 2026, (With View To Extend)

Salary:  £31,312 per annum, (Inclusive of London Allowance)

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking to recruit a Youth Development Outreach Worker to join the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital. This project offers support to young people who have attended the Emergency Department due to violence in order to promote positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Offering intensive 1:1 support to the young people referred to the project by hospital staff following an attendance at ED due to violence or aggression. Support for the young person can include liaising with parents/carers, safeguarding services and other agencies/networks with the purpose of increasing positive outcomes.

· Being a physical presence in the department, working with key staff within NMUH to ensure all young people who come into ED as a result of a violence or aggression are able to access support where required.

· Planning and delivering sessions focusing around specific areas of violence reduction for young people and professionals.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience working with young people using a Youth Work approach and seen a positive impact from that work

· Are committed and passionate about working with young people who have experienced violence using a young person centred, trauma informed approach.

· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.

· Are self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights, feminist organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. The post holder will join our Counselling and Psychotherapy team, providing emotional support sessions, clinical assessments and one-to-one short term therapy to Latin American women; delivering group work activities and psychoeducational workshops; and dealing with internal and external referrals, working closely with other teams at LAWRS and external agencies.

Job Title - Financial Education & Wellbeing Training Consultant

About The Opportunity

Money Workshops are the core of what we do. Through these sessions, we reach over 40,000 people per year across the UK with our vital financial wellbeing messages. 

This offering is split between two areas of work: Workshops for children and young people (our Financial Education offer), and Sessions & Programmes for adults (what we call Financial Wellbeing Training). We are looking for multiple Freelance Consultants to deliver to one or both of these two groups. Please see the job descriptions below for more information about each opportunity.

The Workshops are interactive, engaging and relevant, covering topics including budgeting, saving, borrowing, investing, pensions and much more. In the majority of cases, they are also fully-funded (free) to the organisations we partner with, keeping barriers to access as low as possible.

As well as delivering the Workshops, you will play a role in promoting them, which means you should be able to forge strong relationships with stakeholders and should be confident in reaching out to new contacts. This will involve sending marketing emails to education establishments and charities, reaching out to existing contacts, and possibly the use of social media to promote the workshops. It also means Consultants can control their own diaries and commitments, meaning that this is an ideal opportunity for those looking for flexibility.

Kineara has a new vacancy for an experienced Housing support worker to join our small and dedicated team for our new School Housing Advice project.

About the project 

The School Housing Advice Support Project builds on the success of a pilot program and aims to provide tailored housing advice and support to families, particularly those living in temporary accommodation (TA). The project started in January 2025 and is currently being delivered at three primary schools in the borough of Southwark.

The initiative offers practical housing advice, casework, workshops, and legal support through a collaborative partnership between Kineara and Southwark Law Centre. It also addresses challenges such as poor housing conditions, legal proceedings, and impacts on families' health and wellbeing.

About the role 

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate support worker to deliver housing advice and practical support to parents from four Primary Schools in Southwark. This role involves conducting housing surgeries, providing follow-up casework, and running workshops to empower clients with the knowledge and skills to address their housing-related issues. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions to help them achieve sustainable housing outcomes. The role will be based mostly in Southwark, and you will be working in partnership with schools, community organisations and the council to coordinate tailored support for each client to avoid eviction and sustain tenancies, address suitability of the property, mediating with landlords where necessary and providing advice for onward housing when needed. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies or move to a better suited property, improve wellbeing and awareness of tenancy rights and housing polices.

About you 

• You will have experience of working with families and individuals with complex needs, as well as some experience of providing housing support.
• You will be an enthusiastic person who has empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to working with clients and who thrives when working independently with a passion to support change.
• You will have excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Have good knowledge of housing policies and tenants' rights, experience of delivering holistic support.
• You will be a solution-minded thinker, have a good understanding of strength-based approaches and be able work committing to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
• Be able to work as part of a team and independently, the roles require you to think creatively and use the resources around you effectively.
