Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in the UK - stealing over 12,000 of our dads, grandads, brothers and friends every year.
As the largest men’s health charity in the UK, our ambition is clear: to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer. And this is how we’re making that happen. We are the biggest public funder of prostate cancer research, investing millions to revolutionise testing, treatment, and care. We’re blazing a trail to a screening programme that could save thousands of lives with regular, accurate tests for all men at risk. This is an exciting and pivotal moment for high value fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK. Through our £100 million Raise the Game appeal, we are accelerating our progress over the next 5 years, to transform how men and their families navigate prostate cancer. We are now seeking a new Head of Philanthropy to lead the strategic direction and performance of the philanthropy team, ensuring that we deliver ambitious, long-term and sustainable income growth in line with our priorities. You will also cultivate your own major donor portfolio, and work with other senior leaders across the Philanthropy, Appeals and Partnerships team, to ensure a coordinated approach in driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and donor focus across all fundraising activity.
About you
You are an experienced, collaborative fundraiser and people leader, who thrives in ambitious organisations and the major gifts arena. You’ll bring a strong track record of securing six-figure gifts and above, alongside the experience of designing and activating robust strategies and overseeing operational excellence that turns ambition into impact. A skilled and compelling communicator, you build trusted relationships easily and confidently with donors, colleagues and partners alike. You’re comfortable navigating the new and uncertain, bringing flexibility, curiosity and adaptability to a changing environment.
These qualities will be key to building credibility and strong relationships across the organisation and beyond. Experience in health or medical fundraising would be valuable, but it’s not essential. What is essential is your ability to interpret complex, specialist information into compelling funding propositions. Underlying this all is your passion for driving positive change and belief in the power of philanthropy to make it happen.

We’re looking for an experienced trade union organiser to lead campaigns, grow our membership, support activists and deliver outstanding representation.
The role
Our 1,200 staff work across 12 UK regions and our national centre in London. Regional offices support the work of local branches, helping to represent, recruit, organise and retain members, as well as making key contributions in areas such as campaigning, strategies for negotiation and bargaining, and actions against discrimination.
As a Regional Organiser, you’ll be playing a hands on, day to day leadership role, as well as acting as an advocate of the union. Guiding, supporting and developing local branches and activists to ensure the strongest possible workplace organisation, you’ll identify activist training and development needs, provide coaching and mentoring to stewards and branch officers, and manage a small team of area/local organisers. Additionally, you will lead negotiations, represent members individually and collectively, and help branches to develop effective systems and processes for handling casework.
The person
What we’re looking for...
An understanding of our movement, its pressures and drivers, with a passion for equality.
Ability to provide advice and guidance on the effective organisation of key branch duties (eg maintaining membership density, activist base enhancement, supporting employers with major restructuring, maintaining confidence in union ability to influence outcomes, oversight of case work and reducing response times).
Good knowledge of key employment law, including developing case law and upcoming changes that may affect members.
Good understanding of the political landscape and how this might impact our approach.
Ability to manage a team of staff, with a willingness to collaborate and to lead by example.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with proven ability to manage high level negotiations and representation of cases in challenging situations.

This is a field based role and you will need to be able to travel in and around the South West region, including to our regional offices in Bristol, Exeter, Taunton and Poole, as required and occasionally to London for training, meetings or other purposes. The South West region covers a large area from Wiltshire to Cornwall. However, for the foreseeable future we expect this post to be based in the Bristol office and will be supporting our branches in the north of the region (Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire).

We’re looking for a Senior Data Insight Analyst to be the lead analyst and data product owner dedicated to our Support and Influencing directorate. About you

There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis.
