Reporting to the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will support, manage and grow income-generating relationships with corporate partners. Join CSP’s Policy and Public Affairs team

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced policy officer to join our successful Policy and Public Affairs team.

In this role, you will help raise the profile of physiotherapy and other allied health professionals in Westminster and support CSP’s work to influence government and civil servants. You will manage the day to day running of the secretariat for the APPG on allied health professionals working to deliver a programme of meetings, events, Inquiries and writing policy papers and reports.

A key aspect of the role is building strong relationships with parliamentarians, CSP members and especially with our member-led regional networks and country boards, which will involve frequent in-person engagement and travel. You will also contribute to CSP-wide campaigns and events, working collaboratively with colleagues in policy and communications teams.

About you

You will have first-class communication skills, be confident, self-motivated and able to work effectively across directorates. Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will bring expertise in at least one, and ideally several, of the following areas: Public Affaires, policy writing, stakeholder engagement and event management.

This new role, funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), is an opportunity to develop guidance and resources for Affected Others and professionals, alongside designing and delivering peer support services and training. The programme will prioritise support for key groups across England, including men, young adults (18–25), neurodiverse individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

As a Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality guidance, resources, and service developments, ensuring that safety is embedded across all outputs and that lived experience voices inform all aspects of the work. Using an iterative test and learn approach, you will gather insights, contribute to continuous improvement, and adapt resources and services to better meet the needs of target groups.

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. We work closely with social workers and representatives from other agencies to benefit the young people in our care.

Role Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will be a key worker for several young people in Baca's care, providing high-quality holistic and therapeutic support for their transition to adulthood. You will deliver services in line with Baca’s Theory of Change, ensuring the highest quality outcomes in physical and emotional wellbeing, education, employment, training, social engagement, and personal safety.

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Policy & Partnerships Officer will deliver policy and research projects and facilitate lived experience voice into Unseen’s policy, research and practice. You will work closely with the Head of Policy & Research, the Survivor Involvement Coordinator and Unseen’s Survivor Consultants and be responsible for the Survivor Consultant groups.

You will also support the Head of Policy & Research in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership. Unseen facilitates the Avon & Somerset Anti-Slavery Partnership board, the Regional Anti-Slavery Partnership board and Bristol Modern Slavery Operational Partnership. We support the chairs of other force area partnerships in the region and act as a point of contact in the Southwest, driving forward responses to modern slavery in the region and providing advice and guidance to partners to improve their practice.

You will work closely with Unseen’s Policy & Research team and have regular interactions with staff across Unseen’s wider teams including Business Services, Helpline Services, Support Services, Fundraising, Communications, and Operations.

Harris Hill has an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraising Consultant, to help cover an interim permanent recruitment period of 3-6 months, on a full or part time basis. 

This role is totally remote however, you may need to attend certain events around the country, with all travel and expenses paid. The pay rate is based on a salary of £66500, and can be paid either PAYE, or Umbrella.
