General duties

Advice & Wellbeing Specialist - Make a real difference every day.
We’re looking for an Advice & Wellbeing Specialist to provide high-quality, holistic support to residents, helping them sustain tenancies and improve their wellbeing. This is a 12‑month secondment/fixed term contract covering North West London and is a community‑based role. You will need to feel confident and comfortable visiting residents in their homes, with one day per week based in an office.
Your typical day could start by working with residents in their homes and neighbourhoods to understand their immediate needs. Later, you might deliver advice and wellbeing support in a community wellbeing hub before engaging with external stakeholders to build a strong network of support for our residents.
As an Advice & Wellbeing Specialist, you’ll deliver proactive and trauma-informed support tailored to residents’ needs. You’ll work closely with them to understand wellbeing concerns and agree an action plan to enable them to sustain their tenancies and feel connected to their community. You’ll empower residents through positive engagement, helping them develop skills and resilience to lead independent and fulfilled lives.

You’ll deliver personalised, trauma-informed advice and wellbeing support in the community, taking a holistic approach to tenancy, health, and social needs. Job Purpose:
The post’s primary focus is to provide specialist education advice primarily by telephone and email, to parent carers with disabled children in the UK. The post holder will be working on the Contact national helpline service. Service hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm.

To respond professionally and with empathy to incoming calls, emails, web form and social media enquiries on SEND and related education issues.

Working across departments, you’ll embed a collaborative and insight-led approach to donor retention and supporter experience.
You will lead the strategic planning and delivery of supporter development activity, from multi-channel appeals to tailored stewardship, and helping to grow income from regular giving and repeat giving audiences, as well as collaborating with Acquisition and Mid-Value and Legacy teams to grow a sustainable income pipeline. You’ll build and manage a global portfolio of strategic, high-value funding partners that share and advance our mission. Through effective relationship building and account management, you’ll engage donors with the aim of growing their long-term support for our work.
The ideal candidate will have experience of successful corporate/institutional partnership development and/or stewardship at a national or international scale. You may also have experience working with trusts and foundations or securing sponsorship for events.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is an independent charity with a global mission to enable all young people to realise their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies.
We empower schools to teach computer science and AI literacy through free curricula, classroom resources, purpose built software tools, and professional development for teachers. We inspire young people to become tech creators through the world's largest networks of coding clubs. We undertake original research that informs our work and which we use to advance the field of computer science education more broadly.
All of our resources and learning experiences are available for anyone to use at no cost. We are particularly focused on creating opportunities for young people who experience educational disadvantage and those who come from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in technology industries.
Over the past decade, we have supported hundreds of thousands of educators and tens of millions of students. We have teams in six countries (India, Ireland, Kenya, South Africa, the UK and US) and partnerships with mission-aligned non-profit organisations in over 60 countries.
