PiP is a growing charity based in North Kensington that empowers adults with learning disabilities and autism to achieve independence and fulfil their ambitions.

The Role

The Office Manager role is vital for our organisation and forms a key part of our team by supporting organisational effectiveness, enabling us to be responsive to our students, staff and families and deliver high-quality services in a safe and well-managed environment. 

We are looking for someone with proven experience in administration across four key areas:

• HR Support

We are looking for a Communications Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering communications and marketing activity across supporter and corporate audiences.

We are based in London and support young people via our direct delivery programmes. We take what we learn from our work and use it to inspire businesses across the UK to do more to improve social mobility (making sure people from all backgrounds get fair opportunities).

We do this by:

· Running large events like The UK Social Mobility Awards to celebrate companies doing it well.

· Organising Social Mobility Day to raise awareness.

· Publishing The Social Mobility Podcast and Social Mobility List to share ideas and highlight role models.

This role sits within the Marketing Communications team and supports the Head of Communications to deliver audience-centred communications and marketing that increases visibility, engagement and impact.

You will lead day-to-day marketing and communications activity, developing audience journeys and delivering targeted, campaigns, with a strong focus on email, digital content and social media.

You will work closely with colleagues across the charity to ensure marketing effectively supports organisational priorities.

As Project Manager, you will provide supportive line management to six Coordinators working in North-East and South-East London. Citadel is a volunteer-powered homelessness prevention project that supports people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, to find a place to live, settle into a home, and feel part of a welcoming and supportive community. Coordinators and volunteers work closely with people who have been referred, to establish what matters to them and how best they can support them.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organised Operations & Office Coordinator to play a central role in keeping our London office running smoothly and supporting our wider organisation.

This is a varied and hands-on role, with responsibility across office operations, governance coordination, and senior leadership support. You’ll be a key point of contact for colleagues and trustees, helping ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.

· Send out and collate feedback forms and certificates for courses

· Process applications for bursary places on courses

Shop

· Source, order and manage the stock (with the agreement of the Head of Education)

· Ensure that the shop is well presented and serve customers making purchases.

· Process orders received via our website, including packing and dispatching.

· Manage the Shop on our accounting system, Sage. Including updating the ledger daily,  updating the stock information and producing purchase orders.

· Manage the ‘till’ ensuring accurate records are maintained and systems agree.

· Produce the monthly sales report

· Lead regular stock takes.

· Develop innovative sales ideas including advertisements, to increase shop turnover

· Support the shop finance functions such as producing customer invoices and VAT receipts

· Prepare stock for events away from the HADC office

Other

· Support the general administration of the office, including answering the door and the phone and ordering supplies.

· Attendance at charity events (which may be out of office hours) where time-off in lieu will be given

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure a smooth and professional presentation of technical requirements of each event wherever SC activities are taking place.
• To ensure that allocated Production activities are fully and properly staffed – using resident staff, specialist contractors and freelancers as appropriate.
• To manage budgets as required; to evaluate and cost the technical requirements of events and to ensure that resources are used efficiently and that recharges are made. 
• To keep up to date with technical advancements contribute suggestions so that the capital investment programme appropriately reflects the production needs of the centre. 
• To be responsible for the management of Health & Safety issues within SC’s policies and to ensure that safe working practices are used at all times, including undertaking risk assessment and ensuring that all necessary risk assessments are provided by third parties where necessary.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable, extensive experience in one of the following artforms: theatre, dance, corporate events, classical or contemporary music, as well as a good working knowledge of the others. 
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary live arts environment with a demonstrable record in the delivery of events at the highest technical standards.
• Working knowledge of the usage, operation and safe handling of the equipment of the disciplines covered by the Production Department including without limitation stage, lighting, sound, AV and temporary installations for a broad range of events: orchestral, contemporary music, conferences, talks, film screenings, dance and performance.
• Obtains project management skills and can demonstrate experience of managing and organising the work of a team. 
• A demonstrable working knowledge of Safe Working Practices, Health & Safety and contractual requirements and is able to carry out risk assessments.

We are a well-respected local charity with more than 85 years’ experience of delivering free, independent and impartial information, advice and casework services which meet the changing needs of local residents. We target our services at the most vulnerable in our community. Our client profile closely matches local indices of deprivation with most of our clients coming from the most deprived wards in the borough. We identify trends to ensure our services remain agile and able to respond to changing and emerging advice needs.

Role Purpose

The Camden Food Mission is a new service designed to deliver advice in food settings across Camden. This service is a direct response to local food insecurity across the council. It will deliver a floating advice service embedded primarily within food support locations, aiming to reach people who would not otherwise access advice services. The service will focus on stabilising income, managing debt, and reducing reliance on crisis provision.

The project will be delivered through a mix of face-to-face, telephone, and digital channels. Face-to-face appointments will be held in community food locations, with an emphasis on a flexible, visible presence to maximise reach.

We are recruiting a full-time debt adviser to join this project, to work alongside an established and experienced generalist adviser.

Ideally, you will be an experienced money adviser, and able to deliver high quality debt advice and on-going casework to clients. You will be an approved DRO intermediary or be willing to work towards becoming a DRO Intermediary by completing the relevant training. You should also hold the IMA Certificate of Money Advice Practice (CertMAP) or be willing to work towards obtaining this. The CertMAP and DRO Intermediary status are prerequisites to be considered at Senior Level.

Role Profile 

• Provide debt advice and specialist casework that is in-depth and complex and covers the full range of debt advice.
• Work to achievable targets in line with the criteria set by the funder.
• Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
• Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions. Act for clients where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.
• Advise clients who are eligible for a DRO of the possible implications, duties and obligations and complete and submit DRO applications on their behalf.
• Assist clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer to other advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate.
• Ensure that all work conforms to Financial Conduct Authority standards, the Advice Quality Standard and the requirements of the funder.Ensure that work reflects and supports the Citizens Advice service’s equality and diversity strategy.
• Maintain detailed case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and report preparation.Liaise with advice partners to set up and deliver advice sessions in community outreach locations as required
