Job description

Our client is a Surrey-based charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse through refuge accommodation, advocacy and specialist support services. They help women and children rebuild their lives and move towards a future free from abuse. They are now looking for an experienced Trusts Fundraising Manager to play a key role in securing the income needed to sustain and grow their impact.

Reporting to the CEO, the Trusts Fundraising Manager will take a lead role in securing income from trusts and foundations fundraising as a central priority. You’ll develop a strong pipeline, build and steward relationships with grant-makers, and produce high-quality bids and reports that clearly evidence outcomes and need. While trusts will be the key focus, the post also has scope to contribute to wider income streams (e.g., corporates, community fundraising, individual giving) and to help shape the overall fundraising direction.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing trust and foundation funding, with the ability to write compelling, tailored applications and communicate impact credibly. The right person will be proactive, organised and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on delivery—able to manage multiple deadlines, build relationships with a range of stakeholders, and work with sensitivity given the organisation’s focus on supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
