About the position

The Video Editor Assistant will help coordinate all video and podcast production activities, supporting the design and delivery of high-quality content across various platforms. This role provides flexibility and autonomy, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and edit diverse video content for social media, including documentaries, promos and highlight videos.

You will be a big link to our charity's clients who are vulnerable and isolated, to them learning more about events, our latest articles, fundraising events as well as ensuring they are aware of the services that we offer that be of help to them. Even though we are a small organisation we have big ideas and having regular contact through emails and newsletters will show consistency and know they can rely on us to be there for them.

• Email content: Develop our communication & marketing content calendar, write compelling regular email content, including calls for donations & support, that is relevant and has clear a call-to-action and high click through rates;

Seeking support with childcare for children aged 0-12 for a Community Arts project in Vauxhall. We are looking for a volunteer to join experienced childcare providers.

The Amies Projects (part of Pan Intercultural Arts) are music and drama projects for women survivors of human trafficking, providing an uplifting and empowering space for participants to make friends, learn new skills and get creative together. Key responsibilities: Till volunteer

Being a till volunteer includes all the same responsibilities as a shop volunteer, however, when you’re ready, we’ll provide you with additional training to:

• Serve customers on the till in a warm and friendly way.
• Put sales through the till, packing them and thanking the customer for shopping with us.
• Talk to customers about Gift Aid and other fundraising initiatives.

Being a Key volunteer includes all the same responsibilities as a shop and till volunteer. However, if you’re interested in taking on additional responsibilities, you can train to become a Key Volunteer, helping the shop manager by:

• Helping supervise the shop and other volunteers.
• Supporting the shop manager to make sure customers have a great experience.
• Opening and closing the shop when needed.
• Cashing up at the end of the day.

Are you passionate about helping women build their lives beyond crisis? We are recruiting for volunteers to support our 'Be You' Project, supporting victims of Domestic Abuse to find their passions and develop their goals.

Some of the women living in Hestia’s refuge's would like support to get out and about and get to know the local area. This will help the women to gain confidence and feel less isolated.

Some examples of activities include: Walks in local parks, Visiting local coffee shops, Play groups, Museums and galleries etc...

What you will be doing

• Researching the local area and what is available.
• Discussing with the women what they are interested in doing.
• Planning with the women the places they would like to visit, when this will take place and how you will get there.
• Advertising this in the refuges by talking to the women, sending emails/texts. Making a poster etc.
• Encouraging the women to attend.
• Accompanying the women to places of interest and assisting them with travel.
• Keeping records of all meetings and outings including receipts.
• Giving feedback to the co-ordinator regarding the outcomes of your meetings with the women.

How much time are you expected to give and when?

Volunteering is flexible. The brilliant thing about this role is you can do as much or as little as you like.  Weekdays or weekends, daytime or evenings, there is lots of choice.

Looking for volunteers based across Staffordshire, support provided remotely.

Orchards is looking for a reliable and organised admin volunteer to support our vision to see more women free from sexual exploitation. This role offers hands-on experience in the VAWG sector and the chance to contribute to the smooth running of our supported accommodation services.
