You'll have
- Strong track record of developing new mass market products in a fundraising or revenue generation context.
- Significant experience of using an innovation framework to tackle new product development.

About the role

The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community
Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities.
While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. A feasibility study is underway to explore a range of operational and business models that will transition the café into a sustainable, profit-making enterprise. Plans include expanding income-generating opportunities through hosting more events, developing an external catering offer, and maximising use of the space for private hire and functions during weekends. Room Hire – Spaces that Enable Collaboration and Impact
Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations.
We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Plans include developing loyalty packages for regular clients and introducing new offers such as team wellbeing days that align with our health and wellbeing ethos. This approach will not only maximise income potential but also strengthen The Bridge’s role as a space where organisations connect, collaborate, and thrive.
Key responsibilities:
1. Income Generation Strategy
· Develop and implement a comprehensive income generation strategy for our social businesses (women’s-only gym and studio, café, and meeting room hire).
· Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities while aligning with the organisation’s mission and values.

Summary of the Role
STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.
This role will lead on our work to prevent recruitment of vulnerable people, overseeing our global prevention programmes that reach high-risk communities with lifesaving information, typically via social media (through partnership with companies like Meta & TikTok). It will also lead on our data gathering initiatives, and on the development of our new product, the Safety Centre.
The Head of Prevention is responsible for ensuring our programmes are high quality, effective, leading on safeguarding as well as monitoring and reporting impact to drive future funding.
Summary of Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership:
· Manage a multi-disciplinary team that works together to deliver prevention programmes, bring in partner data for our Traffik Analysis Hub, and develop software and data tools for vulnerable communities.

Our Second Home (OSH) is a youth movement for young people with refugee experience to build community, become leaders, and flourish in the place they now call home. Each year, thousands of displaced young people arrive in the UK facing isolation, disruption to education, and limited opportunities to belong. OSH exists to change that.
Our work begins with residential programmes, where young people form friendships, build confidence, and experience joy and belonging. From there, many go on to take part in our nationally certified Leadership Training Programme and our regular Youth Hubs in London and Bristol. We are now looking for a Communications & Content Producer to help bring this work to life. This role is about turning the energy, warmth and leadership that exists across OSH into compelling stories, images and short videos that deepen connection with supporters, recruit volunteers, and support fundraising and events.

The Communications & Content Producer is a freelance role, working 1.5 days per week, reporting to the CEO. You will be responsible for capturing and producing content from across OSH’s programmes – particularly youth hubs, leadership training days and residentials – and shaping it into consistent, values-aligned output across our digital channels.
This includes attending programmes to capture photos, short-form video and quotes; identifying moments that tell the story of OSH; and maintaining a simple, organised content library. You will lead delivery of a regular social media rhythm, with a particular focus on Instagram, including posts, reels and stories, as well as adapting content for other platforms where appropriate.
You will develop and run a small number of recurring content series, write clear and engaging captions in UK English, and design simple, on-brand graphics using tools such as Canva. The role also involves producing a monthly supporter email newsletter, keeping key website pages up to date, supporting fundraising pushes and events such as the Young Leaders’ Graduation Showcase, and helping amplify partners, funders and sector allies.
Alongside content creation, you will put in place light systems – a content calendar, simple co-creation processes for staff and volunteers, and basic analytics – to track what is working and refine output over time.

You do not need a traditional communications background, but you should be excited by youth spaces, storytelling and social impact. You are proactive, organised and practical, with the confidence to work independently and make good use of limited hours.
You will have experience managing social media channels and creating content for an organisation, campaign or project. Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours. Macmillan Cancer Support – Head of Philanthropy
Location: Hybrid – London SE1
Salary: £80-88,000 per annum.
Contract: Full-time, 12 month fixed term contract.
Macmillan Cancer Supporter are seeking a Head of Philanthropy to lead a transformational change in building deeper, strategic relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts and foundations, and in the way Macmillan delivers impact through philanthropy.
Macmillan has spent more than 100 years helping people living with cancer. From the moment someone is diagnosed with cancer, they are there with all the information, support and guidance needed, to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can.
The Head of Philanthropy will lead a fundraising team to deliver a current annual target of £5m, whilst also developing an ambitious strategy to sustainably grow income; the charity’s goal is to build a £20m annual philanthropy programme by 2030. To that aim, the post-holder will be responsible for inspiring and supporting team members through a period of rapid growth and change and to maximise existing networks and build relationships with new supporters. They will also work with the Propositions team to develop compelling fundraising asks that galvanise support and work across the organisation to place philanthropy at the heart of everything the charity does.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring, authentic leader who knows how to build high‑performing teams through collaboration, empowerment and excellent people management. You will bring significant experience securing and growing £1m+ relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals and trusts and foundations, alongside proven commercial acumen and a proven ability to manage multi‑million-pound budgets.
Candidates will have personally led major philanthropic gifts and multi‑million‑pound appeals, underpinned by a sophisticated approach to cultivation, stewardship and data‑driven insight. Comfortable influencing high‑profile stakeholders with gravitas and sensitivity, you will also be an innovator - someone who constructively challenges the status quo, developing new propositions and identifying opportunities to accelerate income growth.
Finally, you will be passionate about Macmillan’s mission and motivated by the opportunity to share the charity’s story and secure the resources it needs to expand reach and impact.
