Working closely with programme, policy, communications and finance teams, you will ensure our proposals, reports and donor care reflect the quality, impact and integrity of our work. A smaller part of your role will involve overseeing individual giving and gifts in wills, supported by the Funding Officer.

We’re seeking a Prospect Research Manager to join our collaborative Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This is an exciting new role in the team as we invest in building our high value pipelines across trusts, foundations, major donors and corporates.
We have worked with a consultant to lay the foundations for a new to the organisation prospect research function. Over the last five years, our database has grown considerably, offering a strong opportunity to enhance our prospect research. We are looking for a full-time member of the team to take this work forward, embed an insight led approach to prospect research and work with the team to effectively manage pipelines and grow income.
The Prospect Research Manager will play a critical role in driving the organisation’s growth by prioritising the identification and development of new prospects and building a strong, sustainable pipeline. A key focus of the role will be on effectively segmenting and prioritising prospects, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and ensure resources are directed towards the highest-value opportunities. The postholder will work closely with fundraisers, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach. Success in this role will require speed and agility, being able to quickly interpret briefs, distil complex information into clear, actionable insights, and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes.

The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.
The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.
Hybrid working
The role has a hybrid expectation of a minimum of a day a week in the High Wycombe office (HP11 2QW) to build relationships and provide support to the fundraising team, and there will be flexibility required for other in person meetings and events. Are you an organised, proactive Communications and Events Specialist who wants to use your skills to support a mission-driven organisation working to end violence against women and girls?
FORWARD is a leading African women-led organisation working to end violence against women and girls, including FGM, child marriage, domestic abuse, and faith-based abuse.
As the Communications and Events Officer, you will be working alongside the Executive Director & the Fundraising Manager. You will be self-motivated, proactive and passionate about increasing our influencing capacity to promote dignity, equality and wellbeing, while supporting FORWARD to live our approach to fundraising through trusts and foundations. You will identify new opportunities, write compelling proposals and drive ongoing engagement to increase our income.
About the Role
The Communications and Events Officer will be responsible for communication working closely with the Executive Director & the Fundraising Manager to advance FORWARD’s mission by using communications as a tool for social change. This role will deliver FORWARD’s communication and events, working with colleagues to shape narratives to challenge harmful norms, and amplify the leadership and voices of African women and girls.
You will work across the organisation to develop powerful, ethical and impactful stories to help influence policy, engage donors and the public and mobilise supporters. You will be required to translate complex and sensitive issues into communications that are accessible, culturally competent and rooted in a survivor-centred approach. You will ensure FORWARD’s traditional and digital presence is maximised. The role will support campaigns and fundraising to build a sustainable base and help contribute to long-term systemic change.
We are looking for someone who:
· Is experienced in a communications role
· Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
· Has excellent communication and writing skills
· Has strong understanding of communications as a tool for social change, movement building and advocacy
· Has experience managing social media channels and growing engagement across platforms
· Has experience supporting or coordinating events (online and in person), including logistics, promotion and post event reporting
· Is able to work independently and take initiative
· Shares our commitment to gender justice and the rights of African women and girls
Experience in the charity, voluntary, or social justice sector and experience using content management systems (CMS), email marketing tools, and analytics platforms with knowledge of UK policy and public discourse relating to VAWG, migration, racial justice or women’s rights would be an advantage.
