The General Manager will be the key person responsible for the day-to-day operations of the charity and the management of the network and its activities. This is a flexible role for a charity management all-rounder: a multi-skilled self-starter, confident working both independently and collaboratively.

This General Manager role will be the first and only dedicated staff member in a long time, and will be key to enabling our collective ambition. It’s a role that has potential to expand for the right person, and grow with the ambition of C4 - and will be key to collaborating on making that possible.

The General Manager collaborates with the Executive Co-Chairs to deliver the Strategy and develop the impact of our network, convene and build our membership, develop the sustainability of the charity and communicate our impact with members and stakeholders.

The General Manager is the key person responsible for the day-to-day operations of the charity and the management of the network and its activities.

We’re offering this role in two forms: as a flexible freelance contract, or a fixed-term secondment opportunity, and are keen to explore options for the right candidate.

Pay: £2500 per month to deliver the work.

The fee is calculated based on approx. 3 days per week at £200 per day, but we are open to proposals for exact working pattern and rate.

Working hours: Up to 3 days per week (depending on agreement), worked with at least 1 fixed day and some flexibility welcomed.

Duties and key responsibilities

Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)

• Manage, maintain and optimise constituent and gift data on Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the Database Officer with processing incoming donations from online giving platforms including JustGiving and Fundraise Up to ensure accurate integration and reconciliation.
• Support the Database Officer with monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
• Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud automated processes for importing constituent and gift data from external fundraising platforms.
• Support the Database Manager in designing and monitoring database KPIs.
• Lead data cleansing and housekeeping projects including data retention, consent and Gift Aid reviews identifying areas for improvement and implementation of best practice in collaboration with the Database Manager and Database Officer.
• Support fundraising stewardship through event management, automated workflows and mailing list coordination.
• Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and robust data controls.
• Administer user access and database security settings in line with internal policies and GDPR.

Data Reporting and Insights

• Build sophisticated donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve donor retention and engagement.
• Deliver tailored reports, interactive dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Staff Training and Support

• Provide tailored team training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance materials to help colleagues make the best use of Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Manage data-related enquiries and provide timely support.

Cross Function Collaboration

• Work closely with the Database Officer to align on day-to-day data processing and support.
• Partner with the Finance Team on reconciliation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Fundraising, Communications, and Support Services teams to provide strategic database insights and technical guidance.

Other

• Work flexibly and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, undertaking other duties as required to support the wider operations of Sarcoma UK.

About the role
You will have strategic responsibility for statutory fundraising at Sense, excluding commissioned work. About the role

You will join a team managing Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK, with a specialist focus on hate crime and hate-motivated abuse. You will work within the advocacy management team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to thousands of LGBT+ victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year.

You will manage a team of specialist advocates and triage workers providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT+ survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and other advocacy managers to ensure that survivors have access to needs-led, timely support that is right for them, maintaining high quality, consistent support across our advocacy and one-to-one support, whether that is in-person or remote. 

You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT+ people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community. 

You will also have management and oversight of the CATCH Partnership, a pan-London consortium of by-and-for hate crime support services, that cover all protected strands of hate crime across race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation and transgender status. You will need to have excellent partner management skills and be able to lead and support a diverse range of organisations with an understanding of their specific needs and challenges. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is collected consistently and use this to report to funders. You will develop and maintain relationships with funders and ensuring that the service is effectively demonstrating the different that it makes. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Director of Services to develop bids for new or continued funding for frontline services.

This is a strategic role with the mandate to shape, strengthen and modernise PBS practice across Ravenswood and our North West London services. You will define what high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred PBS looks like at Norwood and ensure it is delivered consistently.

The majority of the role will focus on adult services, with an important proportion supporting our Children & Family Services offer for children and young people aged 5 to 18.  This includes working with neurodivergent children, often with complex and co-occurring needs.  In the medium term, the role will also contribute to thinking around how PBS principles can support neurodivergent children in more mainstream settings.

This role moves beyond behaviour management.  It is about enabling children, young people and adults to live fuller, safer and more independent lives through proactive, strengths-based and positive risk approaches.

You will:

• Receive regular clinical supervision to ensure strong case management, reflective practice and ongoing professional support.
• Build and develop a specialist PBS function with clear purpose and accountability
• Strengthen collaboration across multidisciplinary teams including SaLT, therapists, dietitians and operational leaders
• Establish governance, systems and quality assurance processes that promote consistency
• Chair PBS panels and MDT meetings as required
• Drive culture change toward proactive, person-centred and enabling support
• Coordinate behaviour support approaches and associated training across services
• Influence and partner with the Senior Leadership Team to enable sustainable improvement
• Align practice with current research, regulatory expectations and national best practice

This role requires visible, hands-on engagement across both Ravenswood and North West London services.  You will work alongside practitioners and managers while maintaining strategic oversight.

Your Day to Day

You will:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of PBS Practitioners and specialist colleagues
• Work in partnership with operational managers and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic, joined-up support
• Design and embed consistent PBS frameworks and documentation standards across services
• Analyse data and trends to inform proactive, preventative strategies
• Oversee the coordination of behaviour support approaches and associated training
• Support teams to develop person-centred plans rooted in functional assessment and positive risk
• Review incidents and identify themes, presenting improvement recommendations to senior leaders
• Contribute to regulatory readiness and quality improvement planning across both children’s and adult services

Qualifications, Experience & Training

Essential

• Degree in Psychology or related field
• Accredited PBS or Behaviour Analysis training such as BSc PBS, MSc ABA/PBS or Diploma level qualification
• Proven experience developing PBS strategies and personalised plans
• Experience leading teams supporting Autistic people or people with Learning Disabilities
• Experience delivering PROACT SCIP and PBS training
• Advanced knowledge of PBS and PROACT SCIP principles
• Strong analytical and report-writing capability

Desirable

• PROACT SCIP Instructor qualification,
• Experience working with regulators such as CQC
• Experience contributing to service improvement rated Good or Outstanding

This role is central to Greenpeace UK’s legacy programme, managing a varied caseload from straightforward estates to complex and high-value cases. As a newly created position, it brings legacy administration fully in-house and will play a key role in ensuring income is realised in full, accurately managed, and delivered in line with best practice.

As Legacy Case Manager, you will: 

• Manage a caseload of residuary, pecuniary, life interest, discretionary, and high-value legacies, including contentious cases
• Lead on the preparation, monitoring and reporting of the legacy income budget and mid year forecasts, working closely with Finance and Fundraising colleagues to provide accurate, timely projections and variance analysis
• Work closely with internal teams and build effective external relationships with solicitors, executors and families to support positive outcomes
• Identify and resolve complex issues involving probate, trusts, tax, property, or litigation
• Represent Greenpeace UK externally with professionalism, fostering constructive relationships with pledgers, executors, solicitors, and sector peers
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Charity Commission guidance, and ILM best practice

Essential skills and experience:

• Substantial experience in charity legacy and estate administration, both contentious and non-contentious
• Significant knowledge of probate, trusts, tax, and property issues relevant to legacy casework
• Strong understanding of sector best practice in legacy administration and charity law
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume and varied caseload to deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Diplomacy, empathy, and resilience in handling contentious or sensitive cases
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage competing demands

A legal, probate, or legacy administration qualification is advantageous but not required.
