About the role
As our Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in delivering inspiring campaigns and stewarding supporters who give in memory or through legacies.
Key Responsibilities

About you
You will bring proven experience in planning and delivering fundraising or marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a strong understanding of legacy fundraising, individual giving, in memory giving, or a closely related area. Confident in copywriting and editing, you’ll be able to tailor messaging to different audiences and inspire supporters through engaging communications.
Organised and proactive, you will thrive when managing multiple projects and deadlines, balancing attention to detail with the bigger picture. You’ll also be confident in analysing data to extract insights, identify trends, and make informed recommendations to improve campaign performance.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and able to adapt your approach to ensure both excellent supporter experiences and the achievement of campaign KPIs. Experience with CRM systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics), international charities or humanitarian aid, managing print campaigns, or delivering stewardship events would be an advantage.
Personally, you will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships. About the role
We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor to provide sound technical advice and guidance to ensure high quality qualitative outcome measurement tools and approaches in line with our increasing portfolio in disability and social inclusion in order to continuously improve Sightsavers’ evidence base.
As the MEL Advisor you will lead qualitative project baseline and endline data collection, coordination, reporting and learning to improve the quality of our programmes and Sightsavers impact. You will maintain and further develop Sightsavers’ qualitative outcome monitoring approach across our thematic areas and ensure high quality data collection, analysis and reporting.
Sightsavers has developed and introduced a MEL framework to measure the organisation’s strategic progress - Learning Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP). The post holder will support its processes and make a significant contribution to understanding progress using qualitative evidence.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and strengthening practices

Lead on the strengthening and design of innovative and participatory monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools to assess outcomes and impact of programmes; support the integration of successful approaches in routine MEL practice.

Lead on the piloting, implementation and revision of Sightsavers MEL approaches in existing and new projects including strong links with LAMP; support MEL team members to implement appropriate tools.

Contribute to Country Office, Regional and Global capacity building plans and provide MEL-focused training and facilitation.
Technical Support and guidance

Strengthen the use of Theories of Change (ToC) within projects through participating in their development and ensuring clear relationships between ToC and baselines and endlines.

Provide technical support to logframe development during the project design process ensuring strong links with LAMP, particularly for social inclusion and inclusive education projects.

Contribute to project MEL planning by ensuring continuity between baseline and endline data collection tools, and annual monitoring tools.

Ensure the accurate design of evidence gathering elements, including clear and robust rationale, budgets and resourcing.

Maintain open lines of communication among internal stakeholders about project progress and escalate risk when needed. A key focus is to assist institutional funding and senior management with communications on project progress and challenges.
Evidence generation and learning

Lead Country and Global teams to conduct evidence generation activities to support strategic direction including, project baseline, annual and endline data collection, reporting and learning at project and portfolio (strategy) level

Analyse, consolidate and disseminate indicator baseline and endline data, provide technical support to donor reporting when necessary

Support the integration of needs and opinions expressed by people and communities we serve

Collaborate with MEL team members to analyse performance data, write reports and provide recommendations

Ensure that learning from project baselines contributes to project design, implementation and improvements in MEL practice

The post holder is expected to travel up to eight weeks a year locally and internationally. The role offers flexible working from home and the office to be agreed upon with the line manager.
Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate you will possess a degree in a relevant field or subject (international development, public health, social sciences), or equivalent learning and experience. You will have a background in the comprehensive design and delivery of outcome focussed qualitative approaches/techniques including participatory MEL, tool development, data collection, analysis and reporting, and have experience of analysing rich qualitative data from multiple sources including the use of appropriate analysis methods and data analysis software tools.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Operations Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis from October 2025 to cover a period of maternity leave of 8 months which will include time with the current post holder for induction. It's an exciting time to join our team as we work through departmental change and transformation.
This role will lead the provision of a high quality, efficient and cost-effective HR Service for WWT (both in the UK and overseas) for employed staff and casual workers through a fantastic team of administrators and working with HR Business Partners.
As this role is on a fixed term basis, it will primarily focus on ensuring the delivery of administration for the employee lifecycle, systems administration and optimisation of payroll and recruitment products, statutory reporting and policy / procedure development. IRC UK is part of the IRC global network, which has its headquarters in New York and London. Our team in the UK works to raise profile, deliver policy and practice change, and increase funding to help restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. The purpose of the role
The Mass Market team’s mission is to inspire the UK public to financially support the IRC to help people impacted by conflict and disaster. The purpose of this role is to support the Director, Mass Markets by implementing the Retention strategy in order to generate long-term sustainable growth, cultivate a loyal and engaged donor base and maximise net revenue.
As Retention Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for annual operational planning and delivery across for the retention programme, including for emergency appeals. You will work closely with the Director, Mass Markets to create and manage significant annual budgets, ensuring return on investment is maximised at all times. Supported by the Retention Marketing Executive, you will oversee all campaign activity, ensuring that it meets the strategic objectives and financial goals of the department.
You will be part of a department focused on excellence, with significant opportunity to lead on change and drive impact and growth.
Key accountabilities
Strategy and planning
- Support the Director, Mass Markets in the development and delivery of the retention strategy and priorities
- Identify, scope and deliver new and innovative opportunities that advance the retention strategy
- Manage retention operational planning, including leading annual, quarterly and monthly planning sessions, defining key deliverables and ensuring all activity supports the aims of the retention strategy
- Manage the monitoring and reporting framework to track performance against strategic objectives
- Identify and brief support requirements with internal and external partners in order to maximise activity and ensure the smooth running of back-office operations

Budget management
- Manage segments of the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process, identifying opportunities for savings, additional investment, or budget reallocation
- Focus on maximising return on investment at all times, and make suggestions for contingency action as necessary to achieve budgeted income target
- Lead on tracking and reconciling retention income and expenditure budget lines, providing variance reporting to support the Director, Mass Markets regular financial reporting
Campaign management
- Oversee, plan and deliver multi-channel revenue and engagement campaigns, including emergencies, ensuring all activity is designed to inspire and engage supporters
- Oversee the design and implementation of customer journeys across all segments and products, in order to increase loyalty, average value and product holdings
- Lead the development and management of the mid-level portfolio, including regular communications, donor events, and identification and development of prospects into active donating advocates of the IRC
- Oversee work to ensure it is completed to standard, on time and within budget and act as overflow support during peak times, such as emergencies
- Work closely with equivalent team members in other national markets (i.e. Korea, Germany, Sweden, US) and the Mass Market support team to ensure all activity is coordinated and maximised
Insight, analysis and data management
- Work closely with the Analytics team to identify and manage analytics requirements and to draw actionable insights from performance data
- Oversee and sign off detailed end of campaign reports, ensuring all relevant information is documented and used to inform future activity
- Monitor day-to-day metrics, identifying and acting on performance issues and opportunities
Leadership and management
- Line manage and develop the Retention Marketing Executive(s), ensuring performance objectives are managed throughout the year and opportunities for training, development and progression are identified and prioritised
- Work closely with other team members to increase connection across Mass Markets, with the ultimate aim of developing a seamless progression for new donors and prospects into further cultivation
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external suppliers, ensuring performance is to standard and opportunities to drive value for money from existing and new suppliers are identified, and supporting with the preparation of quarterly business reviews, as required
General
- Keep up to date with the sector developments in individual giving to ensure IRC is at the forefront of fundraising developments
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, best practice and industry standards and adhere to all relevant regulation including the Fundraising Regulator and ICO.
