Care Experienced Programme

Disability and Neurodiversity Programme
Our Disability and Neurodiversity Programme celebrates individuality and empowers young people to thrive in an inclusive, creative space. We actively consult with disabled and neurodivergent young people (DND YP) to ensure their voices shape everything we do. Our projects have supported DNDYP to participate in social and developmental activities, have an active voice in their community and improve their wellbeing.
Work Readiness & Education Programme
Our Work Readiness & Education Programme offers a dynamic, hands-on approach to preparing young people for the workforce. Through courses, job clubs, placements, corporate partnerships, and real-world experience, we ensure young people develop not just the skills they need but the confidence to succeed. Our staff love engaging in creative activities that make learning fun: whether it's through interactive workshops, team challenges, or creative CV-building.
The main activities delivered through these programme include:
- Life skills workshops such as cooking, budgeting, leading healthy lifestyles workshops.
- One-to-one support to provide bespoke guidance so young people can overcome barriers and set goals.
- Creative/outdoor activities such as music, drama, art, sport etc.
- Consultations to ensure that young people have a voice in designing their programme.
In these roles you will need to be confident in inspiring and engaging young people that face various disadvantage and be able to develop positive partnerships with various stakeholders.
We are looking for Programme Coordinators that can be flexible and committed team players. In return you will have the chance to have creative ownership of our programmes, bringing your own skills and ideas to make them an amazing experience for young people to be involved in.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver activities - Plan, and facilitate engaging, inclusive sessions and 1:1 support for young people with varied needs, using trauma-informed and youth work approaches.
- Build meaningful relationships - Establish and maintain trusted relationships with young people, using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach underpinned by youth work principles to support individual development, and promote positive wellbeing.
- Safeguarding practice- Uphold GMYN’s safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring all young people and staff are safe, supported, and empowered.
- Embed youth voice - Ensure activities are youth-led by involving young people in planning, delivery, and evaluation.
- Work collaboratively with partners - Act as a connector bringing together local authorities, schools, employers, and community groups to create opportunities for young people.
- Provide tailored support - Offer bespoke support that helps young people develop new skills, explore education or employment pathways, and build confidence and resilience.
- Champion inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility - Deliver accessible, inclusive sessions for young people tailored to diverse needs.

What You'll Do:

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the day to ensure smooth programme delivery.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Programme Manager is a key role in the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s isle of Ireland team. This post is responsible for managing our SEUPB funded PEACE Academy programme supporting young people in Belfast and Sligo.
The aim of this new three-year programme, is to deliver and evidence a PEACE Academy pathway of engagement, learning, social action and employability that will inspire young people from communities in Northern Ireland and Ireland to create shared experiences and build a long-term response to sectarianism, racism and hate on a cross community and cross border basis.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will:
§ Establish and develop our new PEACE Academy Programme in partnership with Glentoran FC and Sligo Rovers FC together with a network of grass-root partners, as well as community policing and other strategic stakeholders.
§ Line manage a new programme staff team including 2x Regional Coordinators, a part time Training Lead, part time Monitoring Officer, a part time Admin Officer and a part time Finance Officer as well as sessional staff.
§ Lead and manage a three-year cross border and cross community youth and community development programme engaging Catholic / Nationalist / Republican (CNR), Protestant/ Unionist/ Loyalist (PUL), and newcomer communities.
§ Oversee the development of sessions which utilise youth culture as a platform for personal development, working with your staff team to design, deliver and manage engaging sessions and opportunities utilising music and the creative arts, sport, and digital media.
§ Develop, and oversee the delivery of our youth development pathway across both regions, including twice weekly sessions, workshops, seminars and accredited training pathways, mentoring, cross-border events and initiatives, careers events and pathways with a range of commercial partners, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
§ Quality assure the delivery of sessions and outputs linked to the personal development of young people.
§ Encourage and support the involvement of volunteers from the local community.
§ Develop positive relationships with key strategic partners involved in the project and ensure links are made and information shared with appropriate agencies.
§ Work closely with our CEO and Director for Ireland & Northern Ireland on the strategic positioning and development of the Foundation and the legacy of the PEACE Academy programme.
§ Work with our Director of Operations to establish and implement a robust monitoring, evaluation and learning framework for the programme with key data capture tools in place from the outset.
§ Be responsible for the delivery of specified targets for the programme through producing regular action plans and work programmes, ensuring that all project planning, monitoring, and evaluation procedures are implemented and adhered to.
§ Ensure all monitoring data is captured and recorded against targets ensuring funder reports are produced and meetings attended as and when required.
§ Ensure all administrative and financial functions of the programme are conducted in accordance with funder requirements
§ Work with our Directors on the financial and wider reporting of the programme as required by our funder.
§ Work with an external monitoring agency to ensure their independent impact evaluation is completed alongside our own internal monitoring.
§ Work with our Director of Development on shaping and implementing a communications strategy for the PEACE Academy.
§ Keep up to date with local and regional trends in sports/arts for social change and work with young people.
§ Actively represent Rio Ferdinand Foundation at working groups, initiatives, and events.
§ Assist and contribute to the on-going development and strategy of the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s work in Sligo and Belfast as well as across the island of Ireland.
§ Develop and maintain key relationships with partners from across various sectors including, statutory, private, business and third sectors.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work flexibly where appropriate on evening, weekends and during school holidays to ensure full and supportive delivery of the programme.

This is a new senior leadership role at IRMO, created to strengthen the coordination and development of our growing programmes and services. As our work has expanded, so has its complexity. As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will be at the heart of a community-led, Latin American-led organisation committed to advancing migrant rights and social justice. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers, connect work across teams, and lead our new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function. As part of IRMO’s Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver our organisational strategy. You will also play a central role in our participation in the London Communities Human Rights Programme – a four-year project supporting us to embed a human rights-based approach in all areas of our work, in collaboration with the British Institute of Human Rights.

Launched in 2024, Making Waves is our flagship one-to-one music-making programme designed for people at risk of offending or those leaving prison. Over 10 sessions, participants work with a professional producer in our private studio to create, record, and release their own music, building confidence and gaining new skills along the way. Alongside music-making, participants can also gain a King’s Trust qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills, receive tailored mentoring from Trailblazers to support them into employment, and join our alumni programme for live performance opportunities, industry masterclasses, and ongoing support.
The Programme Coordinator is a new role within the Finding Rhythms team. Based on the success of the Making Waves programme over the last year, we now are in the process of expansion - with plans to increase delivery and engage more participants. The Programme Coordinator fulfills an essential role to support successful expansion of the programme whilst maintaining maximum impact for participants and partners.

You will support the day-to-day running of the programme on site, providing administrative support, and being the first point of contact for programme participants. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
REFERRALS AND ON-BOARDING
● Processing a high volume of referrals of participants onto the programme, in a time-effective manner, ensuring all essential information is gathered and recorded
● Communicating regularly with participants and referral partners on the status and timeframe of their place on the programme
● Responding to general enquiries about the programme and distributing relevant information
● Encouraging participants to attend including identifying issues and providing solutions
● Briefing participants in the lead up and throughout the duration of the programme

PROGRAMME COORDINATION
● Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and processed
● Updating the musician and Programme Manager with key information in the lead up to sessions and on the day

● Ensuring the studio is clean, tidy, and correctly equipped
● Ensuring studio ‘rules’ are adhered to and sessions run smoothly, flagging any issues to the Programme Manager
● Supporting the Programme Manager with the alumni programme including the organisation of live performance events and industry masterclasses
OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATIONS
● Organising and attending outreach and taster sessions across multiple locations (some of which will take place in prisons)

About the team
This role will be part of a small Project Management Unit (PMU) located within the Programme Operations Team. This team enables the effective management of the International Programmes Department (IPD) through ensuring IPD Teams have access to robust high quality management policies, systems, process, tools and capabilities that work to support the delivery of programmes, enable the effective management of risk, and ensure strong financial planning and management. The role will report in to the Project Delivery Lead, within the Programme Design & Management Team which is a sub-team that facilitates clear programme direction with standardised results frameworks, monitoring, reporting and financial reporting systems, responsible for donor contract management and reporting.
About the role
The Monitoring & Learning Coordinator will lead the design, coordination, and implementation of monitoring, reporting, and learning processes for WaterAid’s Multi-country Urban Water Project. This is a bold initiative aiming to raise $40 million and reach two million people with clean water in urban areas across six anchor countries: Colombia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, Bangladesh, and Cambodia. The campaign also seeks to build a global movement of youth advocates to demand action from world leaders to achieve SDG 6 relating to universal access to water and sanitation.
This role ensures accurate, timely data collection and learning, promotes adaptive management, and supports evidence-based decision-making. Working closely with country teams and partners, the Monitoring & Learning Coordinator will strengthen monitoring and learning capacity, support the articulation and measurement of project impact, and help consolidate insights to inform both internal learning and sector-wide knowledge on urban water programming. This includes tracking progress towards the ambitious goal of reaching two million people.
The role will also support donor reporting, liaise with Member offices, and deputise for the Project Delivery Lead when required.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of the project monitoring and learning framework
- Support countries with timely and accurate data collections, analysis, learning and reporting
- Provide assurance on data quality and integrity
- Produce consolidated monitoring and learning reports, highlighting progress, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations for adaptive management.
- Support with donor reporting and communications.
- Facilitate and support cross-country learning and knowledge sharing and work with technical teams to translate learning and into practical delivery changes.

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Degree level qualifications or experience or commensurate experience in relevant fields
- Strong demonstrable experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning in international development, preferably in WASH, urban development, or public health.
- Proven experience developing and managing MEL systems and processes for complex, multi-country or large-scale projects.
- Significant familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative MEL methods, participatory approaches, and adaptive management.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, including use of software for data analysis and visualisation
- Excellent facilitation, capacity building, and coaching skills to support country teams and partners.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Experience working with urban WASH programmes, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
- Experience in participatory MEL approaches and adaptive programme management.
- Experience designing surveys using mWater software, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, gender equality, disability inclusion, and social accountability in MEL processes.
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or other relevant languages is an advantage.

The Role: Family Co-ordinator (Domestic Abuse Lead)
This vital role leads the delivery of Home-Start Lambeth's domestic abuse work, with a particular focus on empowering survivors to recover and build brilliant new lives for themselves and their children. You will be responsible for managing and delivering the Freedom Programme, recruiting attendees, and continuously developing the program to meet the evolving needs of survivors. You will also oversee volunteer-delivered support to families in their homes to ensure it is targeted and effective in helping families achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leading Domestic Abuse Support: Spearhead Home-Start Lambeth's domestic abuse initiatives, including the development and delivery of the Freedom Programme, ensuring it effectively supports survivors.

About this role
As the Counselling Coordinator your responsibilities would include: -
· Developing and managing a quality counselling service which meets the needs and diversity of Essex carers, and is delivered according to the standards set out in the BACP Ethical Framework
· Line managing and recruiting staff, placement students and qualified volunteer counsellors to deliver SFBT counselling interventions to carers face to face, virtually or on the phone
· Managing all referrals into the service, assessing them against the service criteria, referring on as appropriate, and managing the waiting list.
· Monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the service regularly, ensuring it’s both meeting the needs of carers and is being delivered according to the BACP Ethical Framework
· Reporting to Service Manager and provide monthly reports on delivery for contract reports
About you
To be successful in this role you will need -
· A relevant counselling qualification (BACP approved).
· Registration with BACP or other professional counselling body
· Working knowledge of social care and health, particularly as it relates to working with carers and adults
· Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
· Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
· Knowledge of the challenges affecting Carers.
· Competent in use of IT (Microsoft Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Power Bi), mobile telephony and social media platforms.

About the Role:
We are seeking to expand our committed team of Programme Coordinators and Senior Coordinators who work directly with young people, supporting them to discover and achieve their best next step on their route to a successful career.
Our Coordinators work with young people studying in schools and colleges as well as young people who are currently unemployed or not in any form of training. Working closely with Careers Leads, Pastoral Support Workers and Referral Partners this role requires excellent relationship management skills to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and young people as well as local construction and built environment employers who are fundamental to the successful delivery of inspiring world of work programmes.
About You
What we’re looking for in our new Coordinators(s) includes:
· Ideally educated to Level 3 (BTEC, A- Level, etc) or equivalent experience.
· Enthusiastic about connecting young people to opportunities, particularly those facing significant barriers to work.
· Have a ‘can-do’ attitude, as a small charity you will be expected to get involved in a variety of our programmes and activities – including development of our programmes and processes
· Be able to work within established programme structures, but still be responsive to the individual needs of employers and young people
· IT literate and digitally savvy
· Ability to communicate professionally with a range of people including young people, schools, funders, universities, industry representatives, training providers and community organisations.
· A willingness to learn about career opportunities offered by the modern construction and wider built environment sector.
· We would expect Senior Coordinator to be experienced practitioners who can take responsibility for a significant area of work, proactively driving good practice across organisation and demonstrating a constructive and solutions-focussed leadership
