Brief role description
Working within our Communications team, you will play a central role in strengthening the charity’s public profile by supporting the delivery of media activity across national, regional, trade and specialist media that showcase the impact of the charity’s services. We run a range of our own community services to support local older people and children, young people, and their families from refugee communities. We campaign for social change. About the Role
The Lead Youth Worker plays a key role in shaping, coordinating and delivering high-quality youth provision within the Future Foundations programme at KLS. Reporting to the Head of Future Foundations, this role combines hands-on youth work with leadership, coordination and safeguarding responsibility, ensuring that children and young people are supported through safe, inclusive and engaging activities that promote their personal, social and educational development.
You will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of homework clubs, youth activities, trips and holiday programmes, while line-managing and supporting two Youth Workers and supervising interns and volunteers. You will work closely with families, schools, community partners and colleagues across KLS to provide joined-up, responsive support for young people. This is a people-centred leadership role requiring strong safeguarding practice, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. Key Responsibilities
Youth Club & Holiday Programme
Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the youth club for newly arrived young people, within Future Foundations, ensuring sessions are safe, inclusive, engaging and developmentally appropriate.
Develop session plans and programmes that support young people’s learning, wellbeing and confidence, using participatory and youth-led approaches.

Person Specification
Essential Experience
Experience of working with refugee communities and/or children and young people and/or other vulnerable groups, with a strong focus on placing participants’ needs at the centre of service planning and delivery.
Experience of planning, delivering and contributing to reporting for projects within the voluntary or community sector (preferably with refugee or sanctuary-seeking communities).
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high professional standards.
Experience of working sensitively with young people affected by mental health challenges and past trauma, with an empathetic, non-judgemental approach and the ability to build supportive but appropriately boundaried relationships.
Up-to-date knowledge of best practice in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and the ability to apply this in practice.
Confident IT skills, including use of the Microsoft Office suite, email, internet-based tools and social media.

Desirable Experience

Duties and Responsibilities
You will lead the delivery of a transformation roadmap to redesign and improve student services across the Union, focusing on creating efficient, user-centred processes that enhance the experience of student leaders and staff. This will involve analysing current ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement, and balancing quick wins with longer-term change aligned to the academic cycle.
You will work closely with students, staff and stakeholders across the Union to co-design services and ensure they meet real user needs. Using data, insight and feedback, you will prioritise improvements, build engagement, and ensure that systems and tools—working in partnership with IT and Digital—support the delivery of better services.
Alongside delivery, you will help embed a consistent approach to service design and process management, producing clear documentation and building organisational capability for continuous improvement. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. About the role
We are looking for an exceptional individual fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team at King’s College London, leading on fundraising for The Dickson Poon School of Law.
This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5 million gift level, supporting senior stakeholders with their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s and the Dickson Poon School of Law.
The team will play a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropic income for faculties, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.
We will build on our already successful fundraising to achieve ambitious new goals for philanthropy – creating strong partnerships across campus and with donors, to realise shared priorities and deliver strategic impact.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with academic and professional service colleagues across King’s to secure significant philanthropic income to support student outcomes and drive world-leading teaching and research.

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Data Protection Legal Counsel to play a central role in ensuring WWF-UK meets its data protection and privacy obligations and to provide support to the Legal team.
Sitting within the Legal, Compliance & Assurance team, this role works closely with colleagues across the organisation to embed strong data protection practice, provide expert advice, support compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and ICO guidance, and support in reviewing and drafting SaaS and digital services contracts.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and strengthening WWF-UK’s data protection framework, advising on privacy risks and data processing activities, and ensuring data protection is built into projects and ways of working from the outset. You’ll also lead on key processes such as data protection impact assessments, breach management and responding to data subject rights requests.
Finally, you will provide legal support to the Legal team, including contract review, with a focus on draft data processing and sharing agreements, SaaS, IT licences and digital agreements.
This is a critical role for someone who combines strong data protection technical expertise with legal knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and help the organisation manage risk while continuing to deliver its mission.
