ROLE OVERVIEW 
We are seeking a self-motivated, personable, and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team to support and grow our Branches and our lifesaving clubs as well as developing and grow recognition of and participation in Lifesaving Sport.

Pivotal to the role will be the collaboration with external agencies and branches and clubs in Wales and Ireland, to strengthen and publicise our water safety education throughout the region together with supporting the needs of clubs in the region. 

KEY TASKS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• To build and maintain productive relationships with organisations involved in the field of water safety, particularly with Water Safety Wales, Water Safety Ireland and associated partners including attendance at relevant meetings in coordination with the RLSS UK team
• To actively recruit and increase the number of clubs affiliated to RLSS UK 
• To support our Branches and their work in the regions through ongoing communication, sharing RLSS UK updates and feeding back on Branch activities and requirements
• Understand the water safety and drowning prevention geographical landscape across Wales and Ireland and actively seek to enhance lifesaving provision in areas of low activity 
• In partnership with the Volunteering and Events Team and Sports Committee, continue to develop and grow participation in Lifesaving Sport 
• Support clubs to achieve and maintain the appropriate accreditation in line with RLSS UK requirements and policies 
• Support clubs to ensure they have the appropriate status, governance, and structure to enable them to be sustainable and effective 
• Support clubs, branches and working groups to offer effective pathways for the development of talent, growth, and retention of members 
• Support clubs to ensure they are compliant with the safeguarding requirements set out by RLSS UK 
• To support clubs to have an affective and appropriate workforce in place, including supporting them to recruit, train and retain 
• Contribute to RLSS UK’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion work to ensure affiliated clubs grow their capability to ensure every community enjoys water safely 
• Ability to attend occasional evening events 
• Willingness to travel throughout Wales and Ireland as required

What You’ll Do

You will be providing expert advice, guidance and support to specialist and senior volunteers and staff, in the management and application of a range of Samaritans quality assurance policies and procedures.

You will also be supporting caller feedback processes as well as new project developments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a highly organised, relationship focused School Experience Officer to join our Programme Delivery team and support our Schools and Partnerships Leader. This role is central to ensuring that every school we work with receives a consistent, high quality experience of our mentoring programme. 

You’ll manage the day‑to‑day administration of school referrals, support schools to contribute financially to the programme, and help nurture strong, positive relationships with both new and existing school partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SCHOOL REFERRALS & ADMINISTRATION

• Manage the day-to-day administration of the referral process, from initial enquiry to a child being matched with a mentor 
• Apply a ‘schools first’, customer service approach by supporting schools to complete referrals accurately and in a timely way, following up proactively to keep pipelines moving 
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all referrals and school interactions on our CRM (Salesforce), flagging any issues to the Schools & Partnerships Leader 
• Responsibility for securing a minimum number of referrals from schools 
• Income Generation Support 
• Support the Schools & Partnerships Leader to secure financial contributions from school partners, including preparing proposals, invoices and contribution agreements 
• Follow the financial procedures for contributions from referral partners and maintain accurate records 
• Help to identify and follow up on income opportunities with existing and prospective school partners 
• Encourage schools to run simple fundraising activities within their communities 

SCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS & EXPEREINCE

• Act as a first point of contact for schools on day-to-day queries, providing a warm, professional and responsive service 
• Coordinate communications with schools throughout the programme cycle, including onboarding, quality assurance check ins and end of programme impact collection from schools 
• Support the delivery team with the smooth handover of referrals, ensuring school partners feel informed and well-supported 
• Gather school feedback and share insights with the Schools & Partnerships Leader to support continuous improvement 
• Building and maintaining internal and external relationships, attending events or actively stewarding our offer with stakeholders 

PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

• Maintain an up-to-date record of prospective and active school partners, supporting the management of the partnership pipeline

About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Every day brings new opportunities to connect people with education, training or employment, to help them rebuild practical life skills, and to foster progress towards long-term goals.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior CRM Support Officer to join our dedicated CRM team, supporting our internal database system (CHIP).

Working within a small but influential team, you will act as the main point of contact for system users across the organisation, providing high-quality first and second-line support via multiple channels. You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, and work closely with IT, CRM and operational colleagues to resolve more complex system problems.

A key part of the role is helping users feel confident and capable when using CHIP effectively and in line with compliance requirements. This includes supporting onboarding and induction for new users, creating clear and accessible learning resources (such as user guides, knowledge base articles and video tutorials), and delivering briefings or drop-in sessions.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement by gathering user feedback, identifying trends, supporting system testing, and helping embed best practice across services to ensure accurate and reliable data use.

• Good technical understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or relational database systems
• Experience in a user support or customer-facing role

How are staff supported to work remotely?

Barnardo's is seeking an empathetic and child led individual who can work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment using their strong organisational, communication and time management skills to support children in the secure estate.

This part-time position (Children's Rights and Advocacy Worker – Project Worker 2) is based within Oakhill Secure Training Centre, which accommodates children aged between 12-18 years, who are in custody, either sentenced or on remand.  Barnardo's refers to Young Offender Institutions (YOI) and Secure Training Centres (STC) as the ‘Secure Estate'.

Barnardo's is commissioned by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to provide an Independent Children's Rights and Advocacy (ICRAS) Service to children accommodated in a secure setting. The service is known to children as Barnardo's: Your Rights, Your Voice, and currently works within  four Young Offender Institutes,  one Secure Training Centre and one  Secure Children's home. The ICRAS service is child led and independent of the secure estate; our service is delivered within Oakhill STC to ensure children can freely access support for a range of issues linked to their needs, rights & experiences of custody, resettlement, and safeguarding.  As such this is a child-facing service, and at times involves lone working in the establishments, so we are seeking someone who can see the child, not the offence.

We hold ‘voice' at the heart of all we do, therefore we feel the role is best described by someone who is currently working in this sector: “The role is a Children's Rights and Advocacy role, which means it is our job to empower the children we work with and help them to understand that what they think, what they feel and what they want, really matters. We can speak on behalf of children to ensure their voice is heard and we also have the opportunity to help them to find the tools and confidence to raise their voices for themselves.  Advocacy and Children's Rights support is particularly crucial in the secure estate because children are away from home, family and champions, and also because children in secure estate are some of the most vulnerable children in society; they have often faced considerable adversity, disadvantage and discrimination prior to arriving into custody and they might not, therefore, be equipped with the skills needed to articulate their concerns. Through the work you do with a child such as  simply helping them make contact with friends or family on the outside, to helping them with concerns they may have in relation todiscrimination, resettlement or safeguarding issues, you  may be the one person telling them that  they matter for the very first time.”

The position (Children's Rights and Advocacy Worker – Project Worker 2) is line managed by a Team Manager, reporting to an off-site manager. The post holder will need to be able to work autonomously, working to the requirements of the contract and the regime of the STC. The secure estate is a highly structured environment; as a Barnardo's service we deliver independent advocacy and support for a range of issues, whilst still having to follow and adhere to this structure.

This role includes lone working in this challenging secure environment. It is, therefore, critical that the successful candidate can follow guidance and policy and is able to take proactive and individual responsibility to understand and access the service support mechanisms.  This role requires the worker to be onsite for their contracted hours, working remotely only for occasional training or meetings. The advocacy team work on a rota system with set hours each week, which includes weekends and bank holidays. Applicants should also be aware, that due to the nature of working within secure estate, the vetting and induction process can take several months to complete.

Hope into Action is a national Christian charity enabling local churches to provide homes and support for people experiencing homelessness.

We are launching a new Hope into Action franchise in Milton Keynes, and are looking for a Location Lead to help establish and grow the project from the ground up.

The Hub Supervisor plays an essential role in the smooth running of the Bristol hubs, supporting all aspects of the food operation. You will work as part of a team to effectively support the hub operation, incoming goods, storage and dispatch of goods to member charities to high levels of compliance and service. This role will include working with a large and diverse team of volunteers throughout the week.

The role will be primarily based at our South Bristol Hub, where alongside our usual food redistribution operation and volunteering programme, we run our youth employability programme FareChance for 18 to 25-year-olds to develop logistics and workplace experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

Hub Support

• Support the smooth running of food intake, storage, and food distribution, liaising with food industry representatives, FSUK, distribution companies and hauliers.

• Support the South Bristol Hub Manager and Fleet Manager in coordinating and maintaining the fleet of vans and machinery.

• Report to the South Bristol Hub Manager with operational improvements to increase efficiency and implement agreed changes. Volunteers and FareChance

• Oversee (under the direction of the South Bristol Hub Manager) FareChance participants, regular volunteers and corporate volunteers on hub shifts, delegating and assigning tasks, providing training and supervising work to ensure all tasks completed effectively and safely.

• Provide positive role modelling to FareChance participants and volunteers while undertaking warehousing tasks together. Goods In and Storage

• Follow FSSW goods-in procedures including liaising with suppliers, completing relevant paperwork, using inhouse software and fork-lifting duties and ensuring areas are ready to receive good in and dispatch orders at all times.

• Manage storage of stock within the hub, including stock checks, rotations and sharing of best practice

• Oversee the dispatch of goods through deliveries and collections ensuring all FSSW procedures are followed.

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.  We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission. 

To be an integral part of the delivery of Scotty’s new navigating entitlements casework (START) Programme, a single point of contact service designed to support anyone affected by military-connected bereavement. 

This is a hands-on, and vital role within a brand new team. You’ll be the first step in ensuring that everyone in the bereaved military community receives compassionate, personalised, and well-coordinated support. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Service Design & Delivery  

Working closely with the Head of START, contribute to the planning and rollout of the START Programme  

In many cases be the first port of call for Scotty’s families, and be a welcoming and inclusive contact for all those families

Implement the new service model, workflows, triage process and beneficiary journey 

Ensure the service you deliver is trauma-informed, inclusive, and responsive to beneficiary feedback 

Manage your own caseload with support from Head of START programme 

Team Leadership & Development  

Once your experience has grown, provide peer support to any further caseworkers joining the team in 2027 and beyond (depending on demand)

Cruse Bereavement Support is the UK's leading bereavement charity, offering free support to people affected by grief. As we expand our national volunteering team, we are recruiting a National Volunteer Administrator to provide accurate, timely, and well-organised administrative support across the full volunteer lifecycle.

This is a newly created role and a key part of building a more robust national volunteering infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining volunteer records, processing applications and compliance documentation, supporting training administration, and providing general coordination support to the team.

You will work as part of a small, close-knit national team and will need to manage competing priorities with confidence. Attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately are central to the role. Prior experience in an administrative role in the third sector or a similar regulated environment would be an advantage.
