About the role
We’re looking for a senior digital marketing manager – email to jointly lead our team as part of a job share to deliver high performing email campaigns and automations to support the charity’s activity. Working closely together with the other senior digital marketing manager – email, you’ll work across large email projects and campaigns, support the team’s workload and priorities, and create processes to best support their success.
Line managing 2 digital marketing officer email roles, you’ll support their development and contribute to our email strategy together with the head of digital engagement.
Working with the senior manager, marketing and communications planning and measurement (owned earned shared paid channels) you’ll be a key part of shaping and ensuring consistency across all our channels.

You’ll have substantial email experience and knowledge, being confident creating and optimizing complex automations alongside managing relationships with email platforms.

Clinical Research Manager
The Clinical Research Manager will play a key role in advancing ARUK’s drug prioritisation activities as part of the Clinical Accelerator Programme. Working closely with the Senior Clinical Research Manager, this role will drive the identification, evaluation, and progression of high-potential drug candidates toward clinical trials, delivering tangible impact for people affected by dementia.
This role is vital in advancing Alzheimer’s Research UK’s research objectives and organisational strategy and will be key to delivering impact for people affected by dementia. The Clinical Research Manager will manage the planning and delivery of ARUK’s drug prioritisation activities working collaboratively with external stakeholders and various departments across the organisation, including the wider Research, Fundraising and Policy, Communications and Involvement Teams to develop the programme and ensure successful delivery and measurable impact.
This role sits within the Clinical Research team in the Research Directorate, an ambitious, proactive and growing team that is driving forward initiatives to bring more clinical trials to the UK for people living with or likely to develop dementia. With the first generation of disease modifying treatments recently approved, this is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with strong research experience who understands the clinical research environment in the UK, to contribute to groundbreaking work in dementia research, aligning with and advancing on the Government's new investment initiatives in the Dame Barbara Windsor Dementia Goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ARUK Drug Prioritisation Programme Delivery and Development
· Lead on the identification of therapies with the potential to be prioritised for clinical trials in Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia through literature search and communication with the clinical research community and key external partners, with support from the Senior Clinical Research Manager.
· Lead the development and drafting of high-quality scientific dossiers that directly inform prioritisation decisions and progression of drug candidates.
· Lead the translation of recommendations from external advisory panels into actionable next steps.
· Work with the Senior Clinical Research Manager and the Senior Clinical Programmes Operations Officer to plan drug prioritisation activities, including meeting logistics, panel engagement, feedback and to track and evaluate progress.
· Identify, evaluate, and drive forward high-impact opportunities for drug prioritisation and clinical development in consultation with Partnerships, Evidence and Funding teams.
· Design and embed scalable processes to proactively monitor the global drug development landscape, utilising databases, conference intelligence, and literature to curate a dynamic intelligence log that tracks therapeutic candidates, development progress, and emerging opportunities across industry and academia.
2. Driving the advancement of the Clinical Accelerator Programme and delivery of key components of its strategy
· Drive planning and implementation of new activities as relevant to continually develop and advance the clinical research strategy
· Collaborate in mapping the clinical research ecosystem, identifying gaps in research and recommending actions to address them.
· Keep abreast of developments and trends in dementia clinical research to influence ARUK's strategies and decisions.
· Support and continuously strengthen internal reporting mechanisms, ensuring timely, high-quality updates to Senior Leadership and relevant boards that enable effective governance, informed decision-making, and strong organisational coordination
· Work closely with the Research Involvement Manager to integrate best practices in involvement and co-production to ensure our research is relevant for and supported by people affected by dementia
· Ensure effective information-sharing across internal stakeholders, including Research, Fundraising, Finance, Policy, Communications and Involvement teams, to maximise the visibility, uptake and strategic use of Clinical Accelerator Programme outputs.
· Aid in the planning, production, and communication of clinical research-related content with the ARUK Communications and Fundraising teams.
3. Strengthening Relationships with External Stakeholders
· Foster and nurture relationships with clinical leaders and research funders in the UK to build the profile of ARUK’s clinical research and help us to accelerate research towards a cure.
· Work closely with our Research Partnerships manager to maintain and build partnerships that further our clinical research objectives.
· Support the Senior Clinical Research Manager and Head of Clinical Research in enhancing ARUK’s external profile through active participation in meetings and collaborations with key stakeholders.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· PhD in a relevant biomedical field or equivalent experience in clinical or scientific research
· Strong ability to critically interpret and evaluate pre-clinical and clinical data
· Familiarity with the drug development process of taking a therapy from pre-clinical studies to regulatory approval.
· Excellent stakeholder management skills.
· Demonstrable commitment to collaborative and inclusive working.
· Proven experience in project management with the ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritise tasks.
· Understanding of research programme management.
· Experience or understanding of preparing scientific dossiers or evidence summaries to inform research prioritisation, funding, or strategic decision-making.

About the role
The Governance Officer will work closely with the Head of Governance to support the effective and efficient functioning of the board of governors, its committees, the Foundation’s subsidiary company, Medtrust, and other aspects of corporate governance. The role sits within the Company Secretary’s team, which is responsible for the Foundation’s governance, compliance, risk and assurance processes.
The post-holder will provide high-quality secretariat and governance support, helping to ensure that agendas, papers, minutes, forward plans, governance records and key meetings are accurate, timely and delivered to agreed standards. They will also support governance meetings and events, maintain governance systems and registers, assist with policy and regulatory compliance processes, contribute to governance learning and effectiveness work, and provide administrative support to the People Forum.
Deliver high-quality governance and secretariat support for the board and its committees, including agendas, papers, meeting support, minutes and forward planning. This will include providing the secretariat for at least one committee and supporting the Head of Governance with the effective administration of the overall governance structure.
Plan and coordinate in-person, hybrid and virtual governance meetings and events, including board meetings, committee meetings, governor information sessions, awaydays and board dinners.
Maintain accurate governance systems, records, trackers and registers, supporting transparency, compliance and effective governance assurance.

We are looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), to provide high-quality, confidential, and proactive executive support. You will be responsible for comprehensive diary and inbox management, coordination of meetings and travel, management of expenses, gatekeeping the CEO’s time, and ensuring the CEO is well-prepared through briefing and action tracking.
As PA to the CEO, you will work closely with the Chief of Staff, Briefing Hub Officer, and other relevant colleagues, to ensure the CEO’s meetings are appropriately supported with papers and briefings. About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Content Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Research Officer
The Research Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is dedicated to funding groundbreaking research to understand, diagnose, and cure dementia diseases. ARUK funds dementia research through an extensive portfolio of grant schemes and strategic initiatives both nationally and internationally.
The Research Officer will play a significant role in supporting the Senior Research Manager and other Research Managers. They will support the creation of grant processes for the administration of smaller value grants, lead the associated grant processes and contribute to work supporting our Research Network. This role is essential to foster ARUK's research objectives and provide continual support for our research community. This role will require close working with teams across the Research directorate, as well as the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Creation of grant processes
· Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine their needs, to support process implementation
· Collaborate on the creation of grant processes, (pre and post) associated with smaller value grants
· Contribute to the development of Flexigrant to implement changes

Contribute to and implement communications and external engagement strategies.
Work closely with the Executive Director and Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser to identify content and engagement opportunities.

Maintaining systems necessary to support effective communications, including member, supporter and partner databases.
Supporting the Secretariat with research and writing.
The post-holder may be required to travel internationally.

Essential skills and experience

Proven experience in a communications role within the not-for-profit, international development, or advocacy sectors.
Strong written communication skills, with proven experience drafting press releases, articles, comment pieces, blogs and social media posts.
Proven ability to craft engaging written, visual, and multimedia content for digital platforms.
Strong understanding of social media analytics to drive up engagement and increase our online visibility.
Familiarity with digital content tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva).
Skilled in managing websites, email marketing, and content management systems (e.g. Mailchimp, Squarespace).
Experience of working with parliamentarians or in public affairs, campaigning or advocacy work in either a paid or voluntary environment, preferably in the context of international development or education.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a wide range of people.

Salary, benefits, and other key information
IPNEd is hosted by Results UK. The line manager for this role will be IPNEd’s Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser.
1. Starting date
The position is available immediately, and is offered as an initial 12-month contract with the intention of being extended if funding permits.
2. Salary
This role is graded at Results Professional Level Two with a salary of £32,785 per annum.
3. Hours of work
This is a full time role 35 hours a week. These hours will be worked as agreed with the line manager, but some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the job. There is no paid overtime, but Results UK offers a flexitime system for all staff.
4. Holidays
25 days per year plus bank holidays. Holidays increase by one day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days. Holidays are earned in arrears.
5. Notice Period and Probationary Period
This role has a one-month notice period. The employee will have a probationary period of three months, during which time the notice period is one week.
6. Location
The post is a hybrid role with the expectation that the postholder can work from Results’ office at Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, 6 St George’s Circus, London, SE1 6FE when required.
Currently, most Results UK staff are combining working from home with time in the office.
7. Travel
Occasional International travel will be required. The post holder must be able and willing to travel to Global North and Global South countries.
8. Additional Benefits

We are looking for a talented Research and Development Officer to join our children and families team at Research in Practice. In this role you will develop and deliver accessible content and learning activities that promote evidence-informed practice and policy across child and family social care, youth and family justice as part of our annual delivery programme for our partners. You will also be involved in the delivery of commissioned project work.
The successful candidate will have experience designing and delivering resources, workshops, webinars, and events for a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong written and editorial skills, excellent facilitation skills and who is confident distilling complex information into accessible learning materials. While the position requires engagement with and understanding of research, it is not a primary research role.
Key responsibilities are:
- Producing evidence-informed practice and policy resources in a range of formats (e.g. publications, videos, podcasts, animations). This includes evidence scoping, content development, commissioning, project management, editing, writing and quality assuring resources from inception to publication.
- Leading the development and delivery of concise, accessible content and learning activities to enable the development of evidence-informed practice and policy in the sector.
- Developing and facilitating learning sessions and events with a range of participants, including senior leaders across the sector.
- Working on a range of commissioned project work, from development/design through to analysis; presenting findings on completion and representing Research in Practice in project teams with academic and practice partners.
- Building strong relationships with sector experts and effectively managing relationships with authors, facilitators, people with lived experience and those working in research, policy and practice.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Fundraising Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract.
Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and the Senior Fundraising Lead, you will ensure our high-value corporate partnerships run smoothly, our high-net-worth events are a success and our external pitches are sharp and well-researched.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hands-on experience across corporate, trusts and foundations and individual giving within a fast-growing charity backed by a globally recognised brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and opportunity generation
- Support the team by researching and keeping abreast of new funding opportunities across trusts, foundations, and corporate prospects.
- Compile background research to help the team evaluate and pursue new business leads.
Funding applications and pitch support
- Assist the Senior Fundraising Lead and Director of Fundraising with writing funding applications.
- Help structure and draft compelling pitch documents to support the team’s new business goals.
- Design and adapt templates for various fundraising documents and pitches.
Partnership coordination
- Take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of our corporate and institutional partnerships, ensuring exceptional donor care and seamless communication with external stakeholders (e.g., tracking partnership metrics, coordinating meetings, monthly data reporting and managing external communications).
- Deliver external logistics, such as school visits and workshops for corporate partners.
- Draft and prepare comprehensive reports for funders, while managing and responding to all ad hoc requests efficiently.
Fundraising operations support
- Be a key, dependable member of the team, supporting various fundraising work streams to ensure targets are met and team effectiveness is maximised.
- Draft supporter newsletters for our donor communications.
- Coordinate in-person and online events (e.g., roundtables, fireside talks).
