We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior In Memory & Legacy Marketing Executive to join our team on a fixed term contract until February 2027.

You will manage In Memory and Legacy campaigns across a variety of channels, including direct mail, digital and paid social. The role focuses primarily on the management of the In Memory programme, with opportunities to support in the legacy programme delivery. You'll be delivering activity to recruit new supporters, alongside stewardship journeys to ensure appropriate and sensitive onward communication with valued supporters. The role presents a fantastic opportunity to help shape the programmes and adapt processes, particularly for In Memory.

You will support the Legacy Marketing Manager and Senior Legacy Executive in the on-going development of the Legacy and In Memory strategy by providing comprehensive evaluation of campaigns, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations for future activity.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Development, implementation and management of the In Memory programme, including excellent supporter stewardship and encouraging long-term support. 
• To manage the day to day running of Legacy and In Memory campaigns; including campaign planning, overseeing creative development, liaising with key stakeholders, co-ordinating print and production, ensuring fundraising is compliant with the IoF Code of Conduct and GDPR, monitoring and analysing results and feeding back to agencies.
• Managing strategic projects with the appropriate level of support. 
• Supporting the Legacy Marketing Management team with the development of annual campaign plans and their implementation.

The ideal candidate would have:

• In Memory and/or Legacy marketing knowledge and experience, ideally gained in a large organisation
• Experience project managing Fundraising campaigns across different media from start to finish. Campaigns might include direct mail, telemarketing, TV, digital marketing or other commonly used fundraising channels.
• Understanding of and an ability to manage and monitor budgets.
• Experience of evaluating the effectiveness of Fundraising campaigns.

This is a high-impact role designed to serve as UnitedGMH’s and GMHAN’s in-house creative engine. Following the development of our new Communications Strategy, this position will focus on producing bold multimedia content. You will be responsible for elevating the visual identity of the organisation, ensuring that our evidence-led advocacy is translated into world-class video, data visualisation, and graphic design that captures the attention of global decision-makers, advocates and donors.

Key Responsibilities

1. High-End Video & Audio Production

Signature Podcast: Lead the end-to-end production of the new UnitedGMH ‘podcast clips’ always-on product, including recording, editing, and the creation of high-quality "social-first" video clips.

Staff Commentary and Thematic Films: Coach and directly film UnitedGMH experts and partners to produce professional, timely commentary and thematic films that cement our reputation as sector leaders. 

Field Storytelling: Capture and edit evergreen Global Mental Health Action Network (GMHAN) member stories and policy case studies during global advocacy moments (e.g., World Health Assembly, UN General Assembly) to build a powerful library of movement-building content.

2. Graphic Design & Data Visualisation

Evidence Translation: Work closely with policy leads to turn complex data into bold visualisations that make mental health statistics instantly understandable and moving. 

Brand Guardianship: Act as the lead designer for UnitedGMH assets, including reports, to ensure digital assets consistently meet a "memorable thought leader" standard. This role requires a high-quality design track record utilising professional design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite); we are seeking an original creator, not a ‘Canva designer’.

Donor Communications: Create bespoke, high-quality creative assets for major donor and partnership moments (e.g., Wellcome, Pinterest, lululemon).

3. Digital Growth & Website Optics

Always-On Paid Ads: Design, test, and deliver creative assets for "always-on" paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn to drive GMHAN network growth, advocacy awareness, and donor prospecting.

Website Upheaval: Lead on the visual "optics" and user experience (UX) of the UnitedGMH website, ensuring it functions as a high-performing advocacy hub.

Channel Innovation: Support the Comms Officer and Comms Advisor in creating visually engaging content for the workstreams they deliver.

Competencies & Skills

• Multimedia Expertise: Advanced proficiency in video editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut), audio production, and the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Creative Translation: The ability to take "dry" policy evidence and transform it into a compelling visual narrative that triggers action.
• Strategic Targeting: Understanding how to tailor creative content for specific high-level audiences, including government ministers and global health journalists.
• Self-Starter Output: Able to manage a high-volume production schedule and deliver high-quality products with limited supervision, sometimes while travelling for global events.
• Travel: Willingness to travel internationally to support at global events up to 5 times per year for up to a week at a time.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with podcasting platforms (e.g., Riverside) and paid social ad platforms.

About Adolescent Health Study

The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people aged eight to 18 years from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. Recruitment will take place mainly through schools. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.

Purpose of the post

 The Procurement Lead is responsible for developing and delivering a robust procurement and commercial strategy that ensures value for money, compliance with Procurement Act 2023 regulations in line with AHS being primarily public funded and supports AHS study and operational objectives. Videre is an award-winning, UK-registered NGO that exposes human rights abuses and holds perpetrators to account. We work directly with communities in stressed environments, equipping networks of activists and community leaders with the technology and training necessary to safely capture visual documentation of political violence, human rights violations, and other systemic abuses. Our aim is to ensure that the concerns and knowledge of affected communities drive advocacy, policy, and legal action.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a critical senior role in the organisation, reporting to the Senior Director-Programming. The role is responsible for managing the organisation’s programmes across 2 locations in Sub Saharan Africa and South East Asia, line managing three people. The position provides leadership on direct programming for community-led investigations and evidence gathering as well as our CSO partnership programme in two geographies. The Head of Programmes works closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) on critical areas including fundraising and strategic development.   

The priority for this role is the safe and high quality performance of projects. The balance between ‘doing’ and ‘managing’ in this role varies depending on available resources for each project, and the ability to create competent teams to delegate to.

Location: UK, France, Nairobi or Thailand preferred. Remote applicants considered.

Package: Pay is dependent on location.  The UK salary of £62,000 plus pension contribution will be converted using ICSC scales. All locations receive 28 days annual leave, counselling support and annual wellbeing days.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme Leadership and Delivery

• Working closely with the Senior Director- Programming, lead the development and implementation of programme strategy and annual plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and priorities.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Project Teams for both direct investigations and local CSO partnerships, ensuring programmes are delivered safely, effectively and to a high standard.
• Act as a member of the Management Team, contributing to organisational planning, decision-making, continuous improvement and cross-organisational initiatives.

Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to support and ensure end-to-end delivery across Wales within the Programme and Delivery team. The current focus is within our Creative Careers offer, however, this could evolve in terms of scope to include other flagship programmes in the future. This role will be crucial for liaising with Welsh schools, creative employers, speakers and the wider charity to coordinate and ensure best practices in programmatic delivery,  ensuring alignment with programme wide expectations and KPIs. The role will be crucial in coordinating and ensuring successful delivery of different programmatic interventions including, but not limited to, school talks, workshops and work experience for young people in Wales. efforts across that nation to successfully provide end-to-end deliver for Wales’s Creative Talks, Workshops and work experiences and achieve the aims.This includes working with the Futures For All programme teams (Work Experience and Speakers for Schools Teams), and our internal Evaluation and Education teams. 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Strategic purpose

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Talks and Work Experience opportunities from initial scoping with schools to securing commitments from speakers and employers, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and stakeholder follow up.  
• Nurturing relationships with key delivery partners to ensure employers or school introduced to the programme are seamlessly onboarded. 
• Working with partners in securing commitments from speakers and employers to deliver talks, workshops and multi-day work experience opportunities.

Warm Welcome Fundraising Assistant

Location: Fully remote with flexible working arrangements 

Salary: £26,000 per year FTE, dependent on experience 

Contract: Part time (0.6FTE). We offer fully flexible working.

Founded in 2022, the Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home. We have a bold purpose to enable a more deeply connected society where we all have free access to welcoming community spaces. 

We resource, connect and champion a network of over 6,300 Warm Welcome Spaces and bring together a growing coalition of local, regional, and national partners representing the worlds of charity, faith, business, government, and philanthropy. By working together, we can unlock the power of community spaces made by and for everyone, creating a thriving network of hope and reconnection fueled by human warmth.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a small, friendly, and dynamic team in a varied role. If you are looking to build your fundraising experience, develop new skills across multiple fundraising areas, and have your work make a tangible impact on people’s lives, this could be the perfect role for you.

Within a small team of executive and assistant roles, you will work closely with the two Fundraising Managers (one focused on Trusts and Foundations and the other Corporate Partnerships) and the Development Director to support corporate, trust, foundation, and individual fundraising efforts. The role offers the opportunity to contribute across a broad range of fundraising activities and, depending on your interests and experience, take ownership of key tasks and projects.

Joining during a time of growth and strategic development, you will have the chance to be part of the implementation of a new Fundraising Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in donor stewardship, event coordination, individual giving campaigns, and data management, all while contributing to the success of the Warm Welcome Campaign.

In the role you will:

Assist the team across the fundraising function supporting corporate, trust, foundation, community and individual fundraising activities.

Develop and maintain positive relationships internally with colleagues and externally with stakeholders, donors, and funders.

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and reliability, maintaining systems for data management and accurate records of fundraising activities and donor interactions.

Liaise professionally with Warm Welcome Spaces, funders and supporters, acting as a warm and approachable communicator.

Confidently use and manage our CRM system (Beacon) to track donor data and fundraising activities.

Support basic marketing efforts, including creating quality written content such as emails and social media updates, as needed.

Securely store and organise documents on our G-Drive, ensuring accessibility for the team and compliance with GDPR and good fundraising practice.

Support the logistical planning for fundraising and wider team events.

Ensure deadlines are met, prioritising a varied workload and maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.

Take initiative to explore new areas of fundraising and contribute to innovation.

Own and manage delegated tasks or parts of projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery of work.

Essential Skills and Experience

1. Strong organisational and administrative skills with a track record of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

2. Experience in using CRM systems (e.g. Beacon) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

3. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders.

4. A reliable team player who can prioritise work effectively and manage tasks under pressure.

5. Good numeracy skills and the ability to work on simple budgets.

Desirable Skills and Experience

1. Experience in fundraising or donor management within a charity or nonprofit organisation.

2. Knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance for handling donor information.

3. Basic marketing skills, including experience with digital content creation and donor engagement.

4. A proactive learner with a passion for exploring new areas of fundraising and personal growth.

5. An interest in supporting community-focused initiatives like the Warm Welcome Campaign.

Working arrangements 

• Current members of the team are based across the UK, with some in London, Reading, Bristol, Manchester and Northern Ireland. Applicants must be able to travel to Bristol once a month for a Tuesday full team meeting. Given the nature of this role, we would also expect the applicant to carry out a reasonable amount of travel to both projects and partners across the UK.
