Supporter Care Coordinator
Hybrid - minimum 1 day in the office (Thursday)
£14.27 per hour + holiday pay
3 month contract

I am delighted to be working with a national disability charity to recruit a Supporter Care Coordinator.

This role sits within the Mass Fundraising and Engagement team, ensuring supporters receive an excellent experience every time they interact with the charity. The Supporter Care team acts as the first point of contact for donor and supporter enquiries, providing helpful, professional and timely support.

This is a varied and fast-paced role involving supporter communications, donation processing and fundraising administration.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to supporter enquiries via phone, email and post
• Handle inbound and outbound supporter calls
• Process telephone and postal donations
• Support donation banking, thanking and financial reconciliation
• Assist with in memory and fundraising events administration
• Manage complaints and complex queries sensitively
• Process supporter amendments or cancellations from third-party agencies
• Maintain accurate records on the CRM database

About you

• Experience in a customer service or supporter care role
• Confident handling enquiries by phone, email and written correspondence
• Experience managing complex queries or complaints
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry/database experience
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in a busy environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience in a charity or fundraising environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365)
• Awareness of GDPR, Gift Aid or fundraising regulations

We are seeking a proactive and organised Hub and Helpdesk Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operation of the URC Resources Hub and deliver an efficient, user-focused helpdesk service.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries, triaging and tracking queries through to resolution and escalating issues as needed. You will monitor Hub performance, flag content and technical issues, maintain service documentation and coordinate closely with the relevant teams and users to ensure a consistent and reliable service.

The role also involves preparing regular performance reports and escalating risks or development needs, helping to support continuous improvement of the Hub’s operations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent judgement, strong risk awareness and confident use of IT tools. You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage a complex workload within the tight deadlines and the confidence to act on your initiative when appropriate.

Support Coordinator

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Haringey Team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11352 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Haringey. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £28,300 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,457 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

Contract: This is a Maternity Cover role for 12 months, until 26 April 2027.

The Role

Reporting to Service Delivery Coach, key responsibilities will include:

• Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.
• Ensure that timely, confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM data base and all data is in line with the retention policy and GDPR compliant.
• Develop and manage service volunteers to support service delivery for stroke survivors and carers as required.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Providing person centred support to empower vulnerable people or people with a disability or long-term health condition and their carers
• Nurturing emotional resilience needed to handle a variety of calls, potentially dealing with complex and challenging situations whilst working in your own home
• Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse audience including anyone experiencing communication difficulties via a combination of face-to-face visits or meetings, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls)

This role requires regular travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

Contract: Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2027.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Take a person-centred approach to goal setting and support to enable stroke survivors and their carers to improve communication
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• Providing person centred support.
• Working to improve outcomes for individuals/communities
• Using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals in a variety of settings.
• Delivering presentations and organising local events
