INTRODUCTION

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity, providing practical help, support and training to people affected by homelessness and addiction. We are passionate about the people and communities we support and embrace creative, innovative and inclusive ways of working.

We provide a residential addictions treatment programme, supported housing, training and development opportunities and a highly effective Housing First service. Our nine charity shops and two social enterprises put us at the heart of diverse East London communities.

You will join a Fundraising, Marketing and Communication team committed to working collaboratively and sharing knowledge, ideas and skills, to create a supportive culture. This is something we are proud of and believe is at the heart of our success.

Over the past year, we have transformed our communications, updating our brand and messaging. In this role, you will use your creativity to continue to deliver a vision set out by our Digital Marketing and Communications Manager during their maternity leave.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience and creativity to deliver an exciting digital, marketing and communications plan, including

Digital Marketing

Create engaging brand social media content and publishing it across our channels, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.

Support services, fundraising and retail marketing on social media, including implementing paid-for advertising.

Create and edit photography and video content for our website and social media channels

Create and send out marketing emails using MailChimp and report on their performance.

Monitor responses on our social media channels, ensuring messages and comments are responded to in a timely manner.

Support our WordPress website, including updating pages and uploading posts and stories, and look for opportunities for search engine optimisation.

Monitor the performance of our WordPress website and ensure that senior managers are alerted to any issues that arise.

Communications

Write case studies, blogs and other written content, working with colleagues across the organisation.

Design posters, flyers, brochures and reports using Canva, ensuring they are within the SCT brand.

Ensure any materials adhere to SCT brand guidelines.

Retail marketing

Work in collaboration with charity retail colleagues to:

Develop collateral for SCT Shops and Social Enterprises, ensuring materials are high quality and within the SCT brand.

Ensure there is a regular flow of compelling social media content that creates customer loyalty and reaches new customers.

Other duties

Work with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and colleagues across SCT on the implementation of our 60th anniversary campaign.

Maintain a marketing calendar and project plans using ASANA.

Work with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications on PR activities, engaging with journalists and the media, influencers and other stakeholders.

Work in collaboration with colleagues in SCT services teams.

·Attend events and be willing to occasionally work outside working hours (TOIL will be given).

·Actively keep up to date with new developments in marketing and communications.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 Essential

Digital Marketing

A minimum of two years managing social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked in.

A good understanding of GDPR legislation and how it relates to digital marketing.

 

Demonstratable experience of running a WordPress website, planning and uploading content and monitoring its performance

A demonstratable understanding of SEO and Google ads.

 

Demonstrable experience of managing paid for digital ads via Meta business manager.

Experience of producing creative and impactful social media content, including photography, video and audio materials.

Experience of creating compelling and creative marketing emails using e-mail marketing software such as Mail Chimp.

Experience of working with colleagues to develop their content creation skills and improve their understanding of social media.

Communications and marketing

A love of storytelling and excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write accurate copy for different audiences

Desireable

Proven experience of working within brand guidelines and advising others on brand execution.

Experience using CANVA to produce marketing materials in-house.

Demonstratable experience of managing a marketing calendar and leading planning meetings with internal stakeholders.

Experience in using ASANA or similar project management software.

Salary: The annual salary for this position is a competitive £55,000, offered as a spot salary

You will also oversee the implementation and development of a high value fundraising information and stewardship strategy and will ensure the effective translation of organisational plans and work into creative support approaches and communications. About the team

The newly formed High Value Operations & Stewardship team will sit in the High Value Partnerships (HVP) sub-directorate which is part of Shelter’s Income Generation directorate. It’s an award-winning team that is responsible for all areas of high value income generation across philanthropy, trusts and foundations, statutory funders, corporate partners and legacies to power Shelter’s fight for home.

Shelter’s High Value Partnerships (HVP) team is an energetic group of around 50 talented professionals who collectively raise over £30 million each year through voluntary and statutory income. Are you an RNC or RNA/RNLD with paediatric experience looking to work on a one to one care basis and build your experience in palliative and end of life care? 

We are recruiting for Senior Paediatric Palliative Care Nurse (Band 6) to help lead and be part of our Care Team at our peaceful, woodland hospice.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with hospitals and community nursing teams to deliver care to a range of children and young people with a variety of complex health conditions. As well as providing clinical care, you will also develop play and recreational activities to provide appropriate stimulation to the children in your care. We will support you in your learning and development and there is the potential to gain experience in outreach work.

As a Senior Nurse you will be a team leader to a small group of nurses and HCAs (Play and Care Workers), taking responsibility for line management. You will lead your team in acting as key workers to a small caseload of service users and act in a link role allocated to the team, for example Infection Control or Clinical Audits. You will be managing shifts, providing leadership to the team to ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with Richard House policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who is empathetic and resilient, can work under pressure, and can communicate sensitively with our families and colleagues. About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.

Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our residents are safe, providing support, liaison with other professionals and completion of support documents to record information.

As Team Leader, you will assist the Manager in the running of a 16+ semi-independent supported accommodation service, supporting the delivery of high quality transition services for young people that promote their independence and increase their life skills.

The Role

The Magistrates’ Association’s aim is to help our members be the best magistrates they can be for the good of society. We are looking for a passionate and empathetic individual who has the skills, knowledge and experience in coordinating casework and undertaking reporting of data to stakeholders. The IPO will undertake and be responsible for a range of administrative functions to advance and simply casework flow under the Sub-Regional Immigration Advice Service (SIAS) project. The IPO must have the ability to communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders on a regular basis. The IPO will organise and present data to funders and others on behalf of NKLC. The IPO would have a good general understanding of Legal Aid casework, and the regulatory obligations set by the SRA and IAA.

The IPO will work closely with the Immigration Supervising Solicitor (ISS), Director and general admin team to progress and maintain the SIAS project. The IPO will manage referrals, liaise with the immigration team, and undertake a variety of administrative functions to maintain and resolve associated issues within the immigration department. Where appropriate, the IPO will arrange appointments, attend triage sessions off-site and liaise with referring agencies to ensure that caseworkers can advance casework as efficiently as possible.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead and manage the Finance and Corporate Services functions, ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and strategic planning. About You:
