Job description

Volunteer Football Fitness Coach (Sports Science Specialism) – Power Up Your Career with KUWFC!

Step into the heart of South London’s women’s football revolution with Kenningwell United Women’s Football Club (KUWFC). More than a team, KUWFC is a movement—championing diversity, wellbeing, and community in National League Tier 7. If you’re passionate about football, fitness, and sports science, this is your chance to make a real impact.

Shape the Future of Women’s Football
As a Volunteer Football Fitness Coach, you’ll play a vital role in the development and performance of our athletes. Work alongside ex-professional players, gain exposure to elite clubs such as Crystal Palace and London City Lionesses, and apply cutting-edge sports science in a vibrant, ambitious environment.

What’s in it for you?

Unrivalled Networking:  Connect with top-tier coaches and sports professionals.

Hands-on Experience: Lead and support sessions in fitness, conditioning, and recovery.

Sports Science in Action: Use advanced athlete monitoring tools (Kubios, Elite HRV) to optimise player performance and wellbeing.

Professional Growth: Develop expertise in periodisation, injury prevention, and football-specific conditioning.

Community Impact: Inspire and empower women from all backgrounds to thrive in football.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver football-specific fitness and conditioning sessions.

- Monitor and analyse player performance using sports science tools and data.

- Collaborate with coaches, physios, and sports therapists to optimise training programmes and support player welfare.

- Educate players on nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention.

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture within the squad.

What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for football, fitness, and women’s sport.

- Knowledge of sports science principles (students and graduates welcome).

- Experience in coaching, fitness training, or athlete development (formal qualifications a bonus).

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Commitment, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn and grow.

Why KUWFC?
Here, you don’t just build your CV—you help shape the future of women’s football. Gain references, practical experience, and a network that will boost your career for years to come.

Ready to make a difference?
Apply now and join Kenningwell United Women’s Football Club—where your sports science expertise and passion for fitness will drive both player success and your own professional journey.
