HELP US LAUNCH MINDSET — AND BUILD A POWERFUL VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY FOR MEN & BOYS IN LONDON
We’re ideally seeking volunteers based in London, but we welcome passionate people from across England who can join virtually and help shape the future of a charity with huge potential.
We’re MINDSET Charity, a bold new start‑up in London on a mission to equip and empower men and boys with the tools they need for better mental health, stronger resilience and long‑term personal growth.
We’re building a stigma‑free movement — a space where men and boys can learn real, practical, non‑clinical skills that help them build better habits, better mindsets and better lives. From 1:1 Life Coaching, to 6‑ and 12‑week self‑improvement programmes, to school workshops for teenage boys, we’re creating something powerful.
And right now, we’re getting ready to launch — and we need a volunteer to take up the challenge of being our first Volunteer Coordinator who can help build a positive, high‑performing volunteer community rooted in team spirit, shared values, collaboration, growth and impact.
YOUR IMPACT WILL BE HUGE
Joining MINDSET at this early stage means you’re not just coordinating volunteers — you’re helping build the culture, energy and identity of our entire volunteer team.
Your leadership will directly influence:
how strong, connected and motivated our volunteer community becomes;
how effectively we recruit, select and onboard new volunteers;
how supported, inspired and valued our volunteers feel;
how long volunteers stay, grow and thrive with us;
how much impact we can make across London.
This is your chance to help build a charity from the ground up — shaping its people culture, its volunteer experience and its future.
THE ROLE: VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (VOLUNTEER)
As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll lead on creating a positive, energised, values‑driven volunteer community built on:
team spirit;
bonding and belonging;
shared values and behaviours;
collaboration and high performance;
positive habits and growth mindsets;
purpose, impact and togetherness.
You’ll also lead on the full volunteer lifecycle — recruitment, selection, induction, onboarding, engagement and retention — ensuring every volunteer feels welcomed, supported and inspired.
This role is perfect for someone who loves people, culture, community and helping others become the best version of themselves.
WHAT YOU’LL HELP US BUILD
1. A Strong, Positive Volunteer Community
Creating a culture of team spirit, unity and shared purpose.

Delivering warm, welcoming inductions.
Creating onboarding experiences that set volunteers up for success.
3. Volunteer Engagement, Motivation & Retention
Keeping volunteers inspired, connected and supported.
Developing recognition, appreciation and wellbeing practices.

Helping volunteers grow, thrive and stay with us long‑term.
4. Giving Back to Our Volunteers
Helping volunteers build confidence, skills and positive habits.
Supporting their personal growth and wellbeing.
Creating a community where volunteers become the best version of themselves.
Making volunteering at MINDSET a genuinely life‑enhancing experience.
WE’RE NOT JUST LOOKING FOR ANYONE
We’re especially interested in people who:
love building positive, high‑performing teams;
thrive on creating community, connection and belonging;
understand people, culture, motivation and behaviour;
bring energy, empathy and strong communication skills;
