We are looking for a volunteer to support PINT in applying for grants on behalf of the charity, who will be responsible for identifying suitable grant opportunities, and managing the grant and fundraising application process from end to end. We are looking for someone who is computer literate, with strong written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail. Ideally we would love to work with anyone who understands the charity sector and has some previous knowledge of grant writing/fundraising, but we are also very open to anyone who is willing to self teach about this area.

Purpose: To secure funding for Youth Kaleidoscope by researching, writing and submitting high-quality grant and sponsorship proposals, and by tracking and reporting on grant applications and outcomes to ensure sustainability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Grant & Sponsorship Proposals:

• Research funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, corporate sponsors, and statutory bodies. 

• Draft, tailor, and submit compelling grant and sponsorship proposals that align with Kaleidoscope mission and project needs. 

• Collaborate with relevant team members to gather data, impact stories, and supporting documents for applications. 

Grant Tracking & Reporting :

• Maintain an up-to-date log of all applications, deadlines, and outcomes. 

• Monitor the progress of applications and respond to funder queries as needed. 

• Prepare and submit timely progress and outcome reports to funders, ensuring compliance with grant conditions. 

• Analyse outcomes to inform future strategy and improve success rates. 

Additional Duties:

• Attend team meetings - 1 hour online on a fortnightly basis

The Bra Recyclers

We partner with retailers to recycle lingerie, reduce textile waste, and donate underwear to communities.​

The Undie Chest is looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented volunteer to help us research grant opportunities and support the early stages of grant writing for our growing nonprofit.

The Undie Chest provides new underwear to individuals and families experiencing poverty, homelessness, crisis, or economic hardship. The Position

We are looking for a Grants Officer who can support us with diverse tasks that include looking for grants opportunities, project development, proposals writing, and liaising with potential partners and donors. In this role you’ll be a key contributor to the continued existence of Second Tree, which is dependent on grants to survive, and to the creation of new projects and partnerships. To do this successfully, you'll need to employ meticulous time-management and organisation skills, as juggling multiple tasks with competing deadlines is common in this role.

This is a high-leverage role for an experienced development professional who knows the climate, ocean, and circular economy funding landscape, and who can turn that knowledge into successful proposals. The Mulberry Centre is looking for opportunities to identify and apply for relevant grants, trust and foundations funding in a competitive market. Grant requests will be on average £500-£10,000 for specific services as well as core Centre costs. The volunteering program with Quilombo UK requires a minimum of 16 weeks of commitment. We are looking for someone who can offer 12 hours a week, Monday - Friday (2 times a week).

The Plateful Café works to relieve poverty and isolation amongst refugees, asylum seekers and ethnic minorities in Lewisham. Our commitment is to reach the most vulnerable people in our community and help them access the support they are entitled to. Refugees will benefit from workshops, training skills and knowledge relevant for catering industry.

 As a small charity, a modest sum of money raised can enable our projects to take place. As such, the role of volunteer fundraiser is essential.  We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, well-organised and highly motivated people to assist our Grants and Funding team  with the research and writing of funding applications to secure vitally needed funds for the charity.

The duties will include:

• Conduct research into trusts and foundations 
• Write funding applications
• Attend monthly team meeting
• Supporting the fundraising team in any other ways as required.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in fluent English
• Excellent research skills and ability to work with considerable initiative
• Good computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Some previous fundraising experience is desirable
• An interest in supporting refugees and contributing to the work of Plateful Cafe
