Description
Our small charity delivers awareness campaigns and a range of support services to patients, relatives, partners and carers who have been affected by a debilitating chronic condition; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). We are urgently looking for 2 experienced email marketing volunteers to join our communications team.
You will be a big link to our charity's clients who are vulnerable and isolated, to them learning more about events, our latest articles, fundraising events as well as ensuring they are aware of the services that we offer that be of help to them. You will also be helping us to raise awareness of this devastating chronic condition.
Even though we are a small organisation we have big ideas and having regular contact through emails and newsletters will show consistency and know they can rely on us to be there for them.

Could you give one hour a month to hold a safe, reflective space for a team of bereavement support volunteers? We are looking for a qualified therapist to facilitate a monthly online group; a place for our volunteers to process, decompress and feel supported.
The New Normal is a charity that runs free peer support groups for people navigating bereavement, facilitated by a dedicated team of volunteers across the UK.
Our volunteers dedicate their time and energy to supporting others through emotionally challenging times, and we want to make sure they feel equally held and supported in that work. We are looking for a qualified therapist to facilitate a monthly online group session for our volunteers: a safe, reflective space where they can process what comes up, let off steam, and when required be offered reflective feedback.
This is a facilitation role rather than a clinical one. You would be holding the space, normalising emotions, and offering a warm, containing presence, not providing individual therapy or carrying clinical responsibility for group members.
What we are looking for:

This is a home-based role, which will require attending online meetings of up to an hour, with up to 30 minutes of pre-reading and follow-up work before each one.

· Representing the MS community and people from marginalised group(s) with lived experience

· Showing awareness of EEDI in a broader context, to provide challenge outside of your lived experience

We are looking for a Complementary Therapy Volunteer who can offer Reflexology to adults, as this has been popular with clients in the past. You will have the opportunity to use your practice to really make a positive impact on the wellbeing of those people joining your sessions, who may be facing real difficulty.

Timing: Friday Mornings (Flexible start time dependent on the volunteer’s availability). The service is open 10am-6pm. We ask that people are able to commit to a few hours per week for at least 6 months but try to work around volunteers’ availability.
Training: Prior to start date, a volunteer is required to attend a one-day induction workshop offered online or in person. Following the start date, volunteers have access to our training platform, Workday, and may be asked to complete several training modules applicable to their role within their first 3 months.
