We’re a hidden gem of social good in the heart of Richmond Park. Founded with a heartfelt mission, we deliver joyful, enriching experiences that promote wellbeing, spark curiosity and help every visitor feel connected to the wonders of Richmond Park. We’re especially proud that over 50% of our programmes focus on SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). 

We’re looking for someone reliable and flexible, with strong communication and organisational skills and a natural flair for problem-solving. You’re comfortable adapting to changing priorities and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed. 

We’re a small team of six (mostly part-time). While we support one another with day-to-day IT issues, you’ll be the go-to person for things like: 

• Setting up new users and workstations 

• Troubleshooting issues (e.g. scanner or SharePoint connections) 

• Supporting the phone system 

• Advising on wider IT needs 

Recent projects have included supporting an office move and IT setup, working with The Royal Parks to deliver a new internet connection, rolling out two-tier security logins for staff and volunteers, and upgrading systems ahead of Windows 10 support ending. 

Skills and experience 

Formal qualifications aren’t required, but professional or personal IT experience will be very useful. We use Microsoft 365, so familiarity with this — and a willingness to learn the platforms and programmes we use — is essential. 

Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be particularly helpful: 

• Managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments (user accounts, security, provisioning) 

• PC updates and IT troubleshooting 

• ISP dashboard management 

• Liaison with website developers 

• Working with hardware and software suppliers 

• Advising management on software and systems 

• User support and guidance 

• VOIP telephone systems 

• SharePoint management 

• Anti-virus configuration and management

Role Title: Graphic Designer

Role Purpose

Quilombo UK is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. Quilombo UK is a not for profit social enterprise that challenges people to think differently and bridge gaps between communities, with the aim of building a culturally rich society, where differences are accepted and celebrated. As chosen among 160 other organizations to work in collaboration with the Home Office on the “Building a Stronger Britain together” project, you will be joining a team, which not only supports the community but also stands up to extremism in all of its forms.

Quilombo UK works in collaboration with QMC Capoeira School, giving you the chance to support QMC Capoeira which is one of the most awarded Capoeira Schools in UK (UK Coaching Awards, Gillette Sports Awards, Kingston Council Sports Awards).

Main Responsibilities

Role description

To expand programs and reach more young people, ExperTeens must secure sustainable funding. This role focuses on identifying funding opportunities and developing strong, well-researched proposals.

The Grant Writer will support organizational growth by helping position ExperTeens for institutional funding, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.

Strong writing and strategic thinking in this role directly translate to expanded impact.

This position is open to anyone with a keen interest in Friends of the Earth and our local campaigns in the borough of Camden. We are looking for someone interested in environmental and sustainability issues and environmental justice in the Camden community who enjoys digital design. 

Duties:

The designer will help with:

• Helping create and design our new website

• Designing and producing event materials (brochures, flyers, posters)

• Designing social media post templates & banners

• Attending events and being part of the FoE Camden community

Desired attributes: 

• Some experience with wordpress and knowing how to design a website. Some experience with Image Editing software (Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, etc.)

• Passion for the campaigning group’s mission and a commitment to communicating the impact of the charity's work

We are looking for a Volunteer Audio Engineer / Editor to join our Podcast Production Team.

You will help transform raw recordings into clear, professional podcast episodes while maintaining high standards of sound quality and respectful storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit podcast recordings to professional audio quality
• Remove background noise and improve sound clarity
• Balance audio levels between hosts and guests
• Apply EQ, compression and basic mastering
• Prepare final audio files for podcast distribution
• Support the team with audio clips for promotional use

The Stroke Association - Fundraising Project Volunteer

Our Regional Fundraising Team work closely with individuals, groups, and organisations who are raising money for us or have the potential to raise funds. This can be through our campaigns, active challenges, partnerships or through their own ideas. Fundraising is important to our charity as our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the generosity of supporters. In this role you will help with projects that will help us find new fundraising supporters, help with promoting our campaigns or be involved with ensuring our supporters have a fantastic experience

What the role involves:

As a fundraising project volunteer, there are a wide range of activities that you might be involved with. When you enquire about volunteering, we will find out about your interests and skills to find the right projects for you to support us with. Tasks may vary throughout the year. They include:

• Researching organisations and community groups that may be able to support the charity financially.
• Promoting our fundraising campaigns in communities to encourage them to get involved.
• Helping ensure our supporters have a great experience by thanking them, wishing them good luck or sharing charity updates. This could be through cards, emails or phone calls.
• General administrative tasks on word or excel.
• Support with our events in person if they are near to you. This could involve meeting fundraisers, cheering along our runners or talking about the charity.

Who the role might suit:

• To be an effective fundraising project volunteer you will need a methodical approach to work and be able to follow agreed systems and processes.
• Our fundraising project volunteers need to be thorough with a good eye for detail, and able to use office equipment and relevant computer software.
• Some of the tasks involved will need you to be someone who can communicate effectively in writing, over the phone and in person.
• You will have ongoing support from our staff but will spend much of your time working on your own so you will need to be someone who is comfortable working without direct supervision.

What the role can offer you personally:

• Being a fundraising project volunteer means you will gain practical experience of working in a busy team, supporting our ongoing work and on a variety of projects that make a real difference to people’s lives. 
• The role provides an opportunity to learn new keyboard and IT skills and use various software and database packages.
• Fundraising project volunteers also find it helps them develop new skills with a well-respected charity which can improve their CV and employability.
• You would be able to see how your support has made an impact by seeing the amount of money raised or hearing feedback from our supporters.

Training for this role:

We provide all of our volunteers with training, so they feel confident in the role and give the best possible support to stroke survivors.

Essential training for the role will include some modules on our learn system, such as GDPR, safeguarding and information security. Other training may be required depending on the tasks you complete. We will confirm this as part of your induction.

We also offer a range of optional training courses to support you in your role and to support your knowledge of the Stroke Association.

We also offer ongoing support and expenses where appropriate.

Where and when you would volunteer:

The role is a remote volunteering role that you will complete from home at a time that suits you. There may be times when we invite you along to virtual meetings, but times would be discussed.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, an Access NI check or membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme is not required for this role.

The Witness Service provides free, independent support to any witness giving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales — both for the prosecution and the defence.  

Our trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence.   

The Witness Service also supports bereaved family members, and friends and family who are accompanying witnesses in court.

Witness Service Volunteers provide support to victims and witnesses of crime prior to and during the court process helping them to feel safe and informed.

The objective of the role is to:

• Assist with audio set-up for the commentary station
• Mix levels both on the audio mixer and ATEM Mini to get the best broadcast sound possible both from commentary microphones and venue mics
• Advise on best practices to get the best possible audio for the broadcast
• The ideal candidate will work in our Kingston office setting up microphones, doing sound checks and audio mixing before livestreamsand monitoring and adjusting audio during livestreams.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience with USB microphones
•  Experience with multimic setup
• Experience with audio mixing and audio mixing software

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Previous broadcast, live streaming, or podcast recording experience
• Knowledge and experience of OBS and use of ATEM Mini.

The Professional Development Programme with Quilombo UK runs over a period of 16 weeks, is UNPAID and requires a minimum of 12 hours commitment per week across Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.

Upon successful application, our HR team will contact you to arrange an interview. Following a successful interview, we'll initiate the onboarding process by sending you the necessary documents. Once your onboarding and identification documents are received and verified, you'll be invited to a 6-hour HR and System Induction. Subsequently, you'll meet with your Head of Department or Assistant Manager for your First Day.

What will you be doing?

Founded in 2013, Release Therapy for Women has supported the mental health of thousands of women. We are looking for a skilled Volunteer Counselling Assessor.

As an Assessor, you are the gateway to our service. You won’t hold a long-term caseload; instead, you will conduct 30-minute initial consultations to help women feel heard, assess their clinical needs, and match them with the most suitable counsellor.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 5 initial assessment sessions per week via our online system, Cliniko.

Conduct clinical risk assessments (safeguarding, suicide, self-harm) to ensure the service is a safe fit for the client.

Identify the client's ability to contribute to our sliding scale (£25/£40/£60) to help sustain the charity.

Provide brief, clear hand-over notes to the assigned counsellor to ensure a seamless start to therapy.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a qualified therapist who enjoys the "first contact" phase of therapy and has a keen eye for clinical matching.

Qualifications: Qualified counsellor/CBT therapist (Minimum Level 4) and registered with BACP, UKCP, BABCP, BPS, or HCPC.

Clinical Skills: Strong experience in risk assessment and triaging complex presentations.

Gender Requirement: This post is only open to female applicants as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Cliniko or similar practice management software for remote working.
