CoSRH is seeking an experienced Digital, Technology and Cyber Security Trustee to join its Board and provide strategic leadership on technology, digital innovation, data governance, and cyber security.
As a Trustee, you will share collective responsibility for the governance, sustainability, and strategic direction of CoSRH. In this specialist role, you will act as the Board’s lead on digital and technology matters, offering insight and constructive challenge to ensure CoSRH’s technology strategy is forward‑looking, secure, ethical, and aligned with the organisation’s mission and member needs.
Key responsibilities include overseeing digital transformation and technology investment, advising on cyber security risk and incident preparedness, supporting data protection and GDPR compliance, and contributing to decisions on technology procurement and supplier management. You will also help the Board understand the implications of emerging technologies, such as AI and automation, and support the development of digital capability and awareness across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with significant senior‑level experience in IT, digital technology, or cyber security, ideally with board or executive‑level exposure. You will be able to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non‑technical audiences and have a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance. Experience in the charity, healthcare, or membership sectors is desirable but not essential.
Time commitment: Approximately 12 days per year
Term: Three years, with the possibility of renewal

We are looking for a new independent trustee who can bring fresh perspectives and objective judgment from outside our immediate membership to join our very committed board. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of charity law and regulation.
Location: Attendance at 4 board meetings (mainly online but with 1-2 in London) each year, and attendance at the Board strategy day.
You may also be required to attend the Council’s annual general meeting and any other general meetings. There may also be additional requirements upon appointment and periodically thereafter for training days in the Council’s office in central London. There will be a full induction as part of the onboarding process.

About: The Council of Deans of Health is a membership organisation and charity representing over 100 UK universities and colleges engaged in education and research for nursing, midwifery, and the allied health professions. At any one time, our members educate around 200,000 current and future professionals and carry out research that improves the population’s health and wellbeing.
Our Board of Trustees is responsible for oversight of the administration and management of the Council, which is led by the CEO who is accountable to the Board. - Oversee the Council’s financial management with the overall aim of achieving financial sustainability.
- Safeguard the organisation and advise on diversification of income to support the Council’s development.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with the Chair and other Board members in providing support and effective scrutiny to the Council's senior staff team.
Some of the essential competencies we are looking for all Trustees:
- Demonstrate a commitment to understanding the Council's business, the sector context and wider policy issues across the four nations of the UK.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an enabling, inclusive approach.
- Ability to think strategically and offer advice, guidance, support and constructive challenge to oversee the effective delivery of the Council’s strategic objectives.
- Demonstrate a track record of collaborative working in an organisation with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ideally, have experience at senior management or board level in other organisations and experience of charity governance.

● Attend the one-hour Annual General Meeting in autumn each year
● Consider joining one of our sub-committees, with up to four online meetings each year.
The roles are voluntary (unpaid). We reimburse reasonable expenses necessary for attending meetings and taking part in Genetic Alliance UK activities.

The role
We are currently seeking new talent for our Board of Trustees. - Attending regular meetings of the Board and its sub-committees where required

Meetings are primarily held virtually, with occasional in-person meetings.

Role Description
The Press/Media Manager will work closely with the Communication Officer to lead on the Pagan Federation's media strategy. You will act as a primary point of contact for journalists, broadcasters, and media outlets working to promote positive coverage of Paganism and to respond appropriately to media interest, engaging in both proactive and reactive.
You will develop and oversee press strategies, prepare statements and press releases, brief spokespersons, and assist the organisation in sensitive communications where required. As this is a council-level role within the Pagan Federation you will be expected to provide regular reports to the Communications Officer and the Council of the Pagan Federation.
This is a voluntary role, and volunteers are expected to work remotely. We have volunteers working across England and Wales. Some travel may be necessary, reasonable expenses will be covered in line with our expenses policy.
Qualifications
- At least two years experience in the field of Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or similar. (Essential)

As we prepare to launch The Lysene Cultural Foundation, we are seeking a creative, strategic, and articulate volunteer Head of Communications to join our founding team and lead the development of the Foundation’s public voice and identity.
The Foundation exists to advance public understanding of Renaissance, Beaux‑Arts, and classical artistic traditions. We believe that beauty is a public good, something that enriches lives, strengthens communities, and connects us to our shared cultural heritage. Inspired by the artistic world of the Principality of Lys, the Foundation brings this vision to the public through exhibitions, educational programmes, research, and artistic support.
To share this mission with the world, we are seeking a communications leader who can shape our narrative, guide our outreach, and ensure that our message resonates with audiences far and wide.
About the Role
We are seeking a volunteer Head of Communications who will:

Whether they are navigating school, family, identity, or simply trying to find their place in the world, too many of them are doing it without the visibility, support, or role models they deserve. We exist to change that - to tell them clearly and consistently that it gets better, and that their lives have value exactly as they are.
It Gets Better UK is part of the global It Gets Better movement, present in over 20 countries. Since launching here in 2018, we have reached over 2.5 million people across all four nations through digital content, storytelling, and a growing volunteer community. We show up at Prides, we tell real stories, and we keep finding new ways to reach the young people who need to hear from us - through projects like our volunteer-led podcast and Voices of Wales, for example.
We are at a genuinely exciting point in our development. With a largely volunteer-led model that is embedded and working, and new trustees joining us to help shape our direction, we are focused on building a strategy that allows us to grow sustainably and serve LGBTQ+ young people more effectively across the UK. The people joining our board now will not just oversee that work - they will help design it.
We are looking for three new trustees, each bringing specific expertise:
- Fundraising and income generation - We are looking to diversify and strengthen our income base, with particular focus on grants, trusts and foundations and community fundraising. If you have professional fundraising experience and know how to build financial resilience in a values-led organisation, we want to hear from you.
- Marketing and communications - Our work is fundamentally about reaching people, and social media is central to how we do that. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of digital platforms, content strategy, and how to build and engage audiences - particularly young people.
- Finance - Sound financial governance is essential as we plan for the future. We are looking for someone with a professional finance background who can support the board in its financial oversight responsibilities and help us build long-term resilience.
Because we are a largely volunteer-led charity, our trustees tend to be more operationally involved than you might find at a larger organisation. This is a hands-on role, and one that offers a genuine opportunity to contribute your expertise to something that matters.

We are a Theatre Without Walls, have imagination without limits and exist to make extraordinary, relevant theatre by, with and for contemporary Scotland.
As we continue our journey, we are seeking to recruit at least two Non-Executive Directors who share our passion for theatre and the arts to support our collective responsibility to develop our vision and our people.

Role Description
The role of a Non-Executive Director Board member is to ensure that: The National Theatre of Scotland, as a registered Charity fulfils its duty to its beneficiaries and delivers on its Vision, Mission and Values.
The statutory duties of a Non-Executive Director Board member are:
- To ensure that the company complies with its governing documents - Memorandum and Articles of Association.
- To ensure that the company pursues its objectives as defined in its governing document.
- To ensure that the company applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its objectives - the company must not spend money on activities which are not included in its own objectives, no matter how ‘charitable’ and ‘worthwhile’ those activities are.
- To contribute actively to the Board's role in giving firm strategic direction to the company, setting overall policy, defining goals and setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.
- To safeguard the reputation and values of the company.
- To ensure the effective and efficient operation and administration of the company.
- To ensure the financial stability of the company
- To protect and manage the property of the company and to ensure the proper investment
of the company’s funds. - To appoint the Co-Chief Executive Officers and monitor their performance.
Remuneration: The role is voluntary, so there is no salary or payment for being on the Board but expenses for travel may be claimed.
Location: Board meetings take place in Rockvilla, our creation space located in Glasgow, and we strongly encourage attending these in person whenever possible. However, we absolutely welcome candidates from all over Scotland and beyond and can facilitate online attendance if required.
Time commitment:We have four Board meetings per year and up to four Committee meetings depending on the membership of the Committee. Committee membership is not a requirement to be a Board member, but on this occasion, we are seeking to appoint at least one new trustee to the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee.
Board members are also expected to see as much of the company’s work as possible including performances (tickets are provided) and events and to occasionally represent the company at these.

About The Connection at St Martin’s
No one should have to sleep rough on London’s streets and everyone should get the support they need to find a place to call home.
This is an exciting time for The Connection. Although rough sleeping is increasing on our streets, we believe we have the solutions. To meet the growing need for our help, we need to secure more resources. We are planning a new fundraising strategy so that we can save lives, work more closely with health services and get more people into long term accommodation.
About the Role
To achieve this, we are looking for more fundraising expertise at Board level. We are looking for a senior fundraising professional to join our active and skilled board. Ideally you are a Fundraising Director working in a successful medium to large charity, with strong knowledge of highly effective, innovative fundraising teams. You will guide us to get the best from the resources we put in and steer further investment to support ambitious growth.
We have a particular interest in major donor and corporate fundraising as these are areas where we have the opportunities for growth. We are also keen to build relationships with senior leaders at funder organisations and encourage them to act as ambassadors to promote our cause.
The Connection has very strong brand recognition for our size due to our location in the centre of London and our long standing relationship with the BBC through the Radio 4 Christmas Appeal. Help us with our step change in fundraising so that we can make a huge difference to people sleeping rough on our streets.
