Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the greater West Midlands area and Wales. You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency. You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven people and project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels or ideally Degree level.

This role is based in region and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

JOB PURPOSE 

As Magic Breakfast continues to expand its reach to support growing numbers of children and young people across the UK, increasing our fundraised income is essential. To help drive this growth, we are seeking a full-time Partnership Development Manager to join our high-performing team and secure new, strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships. 

The purpose of the Partnership Development Manager role is to work closely with the Partnership Development Lead to shape and deliver our new business strategy. The role will focus on identifying, cultivating and securing new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing tailored and compelling propositions for prospective partners, and collaborating cross-functionally with Brand and Marketing, Operations, Volunteering, and other departments across the Charity to successfully bring these partnerships to life. 

Experience securing five- and six-figure partnerships is a plus, but most importantly, we’re looking for a confident, creative, and outgoing self-starter. Someone who is comfortable building relationships, pitching with conviction, and passionately championing our mission to win new strategic partners. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Pipeline Development and Cultivation:   

• Build and manage a pipeline aligned to Magic Breakfast’s funding priorities, including restricted, unrestricted, and Gift-in-Kind opportunities, working closely with the Prospect Research Manager. 

• Secure meetings with prospective partners through creative outreach, networking, phone calls, and LinkedIn. 

• Cultivate prospects to conversion, tailoring messaging, approach, and engagement to each organisation. 

• Maintain accurate records in the database and ensure all risk screening, due diligence, and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards are completed. 

Planning, Pitching & Partnership Delivery 

• Research and understand each prospect’s strategic priorities to define mutually beneficial partnership opportunities. 

• Develop and deliver engaging pitches, proposals, and costed partnership plans. 

• Collaborate internally and with prospects to agree partnership vision, objectives, and KPIs. 

• Ensure contracts are appropriately prepared, explained, approved, and filed. 

• Facilitate smooth handovers of new partners to Account Managers or the Small Corporates team. 

General:  

• Work closely with the Partnership Development Lead and the wider team to contribute to the new business strategy, annual planning, and budgeting. 

• Collaborate with the Partnership Development Team to share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, embrace our test-and-learn culture, and support collective prospect development. 

• Maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce, updating weekly to reflect progress and pipeline activity. 

• Monitor trends in corporate giving and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform proposals.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation to support partnership development.

• Actively participate in team meetings, supporting colleagues and sharing insights. 

• Represent Magic Breakfast at occasional external events. 

• Undertake other duties relevant to the role and adhere to all Magic Breakfast policies and procedures.

The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer will lead structured volunteer growth and engagement across REMAP’s national branch network. The role exists to increase the number of active volunteers and strengthen branch capacity, ensuring the organisation can respond effectively to client referrals and deliver bespoke mobility and independence solutions.

Working proactively with Branch Chairs and the operations team, the postholder will focus on targeted recruitment, improved conversion of volunteer applications, and more consistent onboarding practices across the network. The emphasis is on building resilient local teams, supporting succession planning, and improving the distribution of volunteers to branches with identified capacity gaps.

Routine administrative onboarding processes sit within the wider team. This role is focused on delivering measurable growth in active volunteer capacity and engagement.

AVP Britain (AVPB) is one of multiple independent branches which operate around the globe. One in 20 adults in the UK has never learnt to read at all. This can have a serious impact on their confidence and wellbeing, limiting access to training, employment, and everyday opportunities that many take for granted. Being unable to read as an adult can be isolating and dangerous, reinforces social inequality, restricts economic growth, and worsens intergenerational disadvantage - but it is never too late to learn.

Read Easy helps adults transform their lives by learning to read. It does this by supporting its growing network of locally run, volunteer-led affiliated groups that offer free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaching—both in person and online to adults - aged from 18-88. 

With its free, flexible, confidential approach, Read Easy encourages people who are too embarrassed to join a class to come forward for one-to-one support. Each new reader is provided with their own personal Reading Coach, so that they can learn in private and at their own pace. Learning to read transforms their lives in many other ways as well, including enabling them to support their children’s and grandchildren’s reading, and so transfers the benefits to the next generation.

There are currently 80 affiliated Read Easy groups across England, together involving more than a thousand volunteers. Read Easy UK is the registered charity and umbrella organisation which supports this network of affiliated volunteer groups and provides the structure, training and support to enable volunteers to establish groups in new areas.

As our Central Regional Adviser, your role would be to provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure that all volunteer groups consistently deliver high-quality services aligned with Read Easy UK’s strategy.

You will support local volunteer leaders to strengthen group performance, and foster collaboration across affiliated groups, so that that they deliver coaching to Readers with consistent quality, and a positive and worthwhile experience is had by all.

You will also find volunteers to ‘pioneer’ three new groups in the counties where there is no Read Easy presence in the East and West Midlands and East of England and provide them and our 29 existing groups and pioneers in the region, with high-quality support. Your quality support will ensure that they provide the same for their volunteers and new Readers. From meeting (mostly online) with Team Leaders to provide one to one support, and hosting online and annual in-person volunteer forums, to delivering presentations and occasional training for small groups of volunteers, this is a dynamic and rewarding role.

This is a home-based post requiring flexibility, some early evening working and occasional travel to visit groups. The role is available on either a full or part time basis (min 32 hours p/w, 85% of 37.5 hours p/w FTE).

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Live within one of the following areas: West Midlands (Defined as the 7 metropolitan boroughs of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton), Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire or Rutland;
• have been employed to work with volunteers for at least two years;

GFS is seeking a creative and values led Programme and Participation Coordinator to bring our
programmes of youth activities to life and ensure that girls and young women (GAYW) are at the
heart of everything we do. This role sits within the Development and Impact Team and is key to
designing and delivering inclusive, evidence-informed activities that support and inspire girls, and
develop their socio-emotional skills to build confidence, friendships and wellbeing.

The Programme and Participation Coordinator will develop engaging activities and resources,
support training for delivery staff and administer the monitoring and evaluation of programmes.
They will also champion the voices of GAYW in decision making, and create and deliver
participation opportunities that ensure girl voices are heard across GFS. By connecting
programme design, impact measurement and participation, this role ensures that our work is truly
girl led. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as volunteers and external
partners, they will help embed a culture of learning from and collaborating with girls.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, dedicated team delivering a specialist service to service leavers and their families.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Mentor Manager to join our mentoring service, supporting both SSAFA beneficiaries and our network of volunteer mentors.

In this role, you will act as the operational point of contact for your area of responsibility, managing and recording the work of volunteer mentors. You will conduct specialist needs assessments for potential beneficiaries and monitor, support, and review mentoring relationships through regular engagement with volunteers. You will also brief, present to, and coordinate the involvement of key stakeholders across your area of responsibility.

This is a home‑based role with extensive travel across the East Region of England.

With regular team meetings and a range of communication channels, you will receive ongoing support, training, and mentoring. About you

We are seeking an exceptional candidate who thrives on challenge—someone determined, highly motivated, and able to build strong relationships and a positive reputation across the region while working from home. You will be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and comfortable balancing teamwork with the ability to work independently under your own initiative.

Ideally, you will have experience managing a large geographic area, along with excellent communication and IT skills, including strong proficiency in MS Office 365 and database systems.

Experience in volunteer management, with a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for making a difference are essential.

An understanding of the Armed Forces and ex‑Forces community would be beneficial, but it is not a requirement.

About the Role

As a passionate professional in the identification, development and management of a wide range of relationships in support of our programme partnership, you will ensure the Career Ready programme in Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire continues to thrive, which includes securing charitable donations from supporting partners. You will work closely with our Programme & Partnerships Manager for Glasgow, in support of our work growing there.

This role requires experience of partnership and account management and the scale and ambition of our social mobility work means you will need to be well organised, confident and able to positively influence a wide range of people including headteachers, teachers, CEOs and HRDs.

You will identify and approach opportunities that are well researched and pursue with unswerving perseverance. It’s also a great chance to develop personally.

Programme & Partnership Managers lead the delivery of our programme locally. In this role, you’ll grow, develop, and maintain the employer and education partnerships that make the Career Ready programme work — including our Local Advisory Boards, Local Authorities, school coordinators, the Developing the Young Workforce Regional Group, and the employers and volunteers who provide mentoring with the accompanying paid internship, deliver engaging masterclasses, and support events.

Once you’re confident in what, why, when, and how of our work, you will:
1. Lead, grow, and strengthen the Career Ready partnerships in Renfrewshire & West
Dunbartonshire.

You’ll ensure an excellent programme experience for all stakeholders and secure employer engagement for approximately 60+ students each year (with growth expected) who take part in our 18-month programme. This includes ensuring
sufficient mentors with the accompanying paid internship, high-quality masterclasses and purposeful events.

2. Support programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and the generation of new programme and funding partnerships across Renfrewshire & West Dunbartonshire. 

You’ll work closely with the Career Ready Glasgow & West Areas Local Advisory Board, the Programme & Partnerships Manager for Glasgow, the Head of Programme & Operations, the Scotland Partnerships Manager, Partnerships Lead, and your fellow Programme & Partnerships Managers — all committed to delivering quality, impact, and sustainability. You’ll also collaborate with the Scotland Operations Team to
ensure accurate data, strong processes, and effective management information for the area.

• £36,000 - £39,870 DOE (pro rata for part time)

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease which is uncommon, complex and poorly understood. It affects the immune system and can cause lasting damage to the kidneys, skin, heart, lungs and/or brain. This organisation is the only national charity supporting people living with lupus and those that care for them. They hold an ambition for a world where people with lupus can live full and active lives and work hard to empower people by providing information about lupus and offering support so their voices are heard and their condition diagnosed and managed effectively.

This is an exciting new role for the organisation which will focus on engaging with communities and recruiting and training volunteers to deliver peer support services for those living with lupus. As Community Services Coordinator you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, and will facilitate co-production sessions with stakeholders across the lupus community, enabling beneficiaries to design and shape community-based services. The role will involve providing direct support to service users, producing regular reports, and supporting and managing volunteers to provide service resourcing. The organisation is particularly interested in developing their support offering across Northern Ireland and require someone who understands the health landscape and is confident to engage with a range of stakeholders to develop their offering.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across the lupus community.
