This is a specialist role at the centre of how we manage and maximise Gift Aid across the organisation. You’ll take ownership of monthly claims covering over £100m of fundraised income, ensuring everything is accurate, fully compliant with HMRC requirements, and supported by a clear and robust audit trail. Working across multiple directorates, you’ll help embed consistent, high-quality processes so Gift Aid is properly considered, correctly applied, and efficiently delivered at every stage.

You’ll bring strong technical knowledge of Gift Aid and HMRC regulation, alongside confidence working with complex data, CRM systems and financial reconciliations. A key part of the role is interrogating and improving the quality of Gift Aid data identifying gaps, increasing declaration coverage, reducing errors, and ensuring income is correctly assessed before claims are made. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for HMRC queries and audits, so accuracy, structure and calm attention to detail are essential.
Alongside the technical side, you’ll work closely with teams across fundraising, income processing, data and finance to make sure Gift Aid is fully understood and embedded in day-to-day activity. This includes reviewing processes, strengthening controls, supporting supplier compliance and developing clear guidance and training where needed. You’ll also act as the organisation’s authority for Gift Aid sign-off on new campaigns and income streams, helping ensure everything is set up correctly from the start and aligned with HMRC rules and internal governance.

The Role
You will design and deliver a new income generation strategy that unlocks growth across:
· Corporate partnerships
· Major donors and philanthropy
· Community, individual and digital giving
· Earned and paid‑for services
· Grants, trusts and public sector funding (as part of a balanced mix)
· Recurring /regular donations from committed individuals
You will take an “intrapreneurial” approach — spotting opportunity, building new propositions, testing ideas and learning quickly — while embedding a culture where income generation is seen as a shared organisational priority, not the responsibility of one team.
Essential Experience & Track Record
- A demonstrable track record of generating income and/or building sustainable revenue streams, across more than one income source.
- Evidence of developing and delivering an income or growth strategy, particularly in contexts requiring diversification or change.
- Experience of driving new opportunities — such as partnerships, products, services or supporter propositions — rather than only maintaining existing income.
- Proven success in building and stewarding senior relationships, including corporates, funders, donors, commissioners or strategic partners.
- Experience working at a senior level within an organisation, with exposure to executive decision‑making and governance (e.g. Board or Trustee engagement).
Essential Skills
· Demonstrable evidence of success and business growth

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for two Experts by Experience Board Advisors to join the Helen Bamber Foundation Board of Trustees, who have lived experience of seeking asylum, being granted refugee status or another form of protection in the UK and lived experience of extreme human rights abuses.
The Board of Trustees is made up of individuals who have overall control and legal responsibility for the charity’s management and administration. All the Trustees share responsibility for the charity and must work according to the Articles of Association – a governing document which sets out the charity’s rules and responsibilities. This means that you will contribute, advise and make recommendations to Board on the work and strategy of the charity, but as you will not be a trustee you are not responsible for the final decisions.
The Helen Bamber Foundation Board of Trustees is led by the Chair, Adam Epstein. During your time as an Expert by Experience Board Advisor, you will be supported by the Chair and other members of the Board (including two Trustees with lived experience) to ensure that you are confident and comfortable in your contributions.

Key Responsibilities

Richmond Carers Centre, a network partner of the Carers Trust, is a registered charity providing information, support, advice and a voice for carers living and caring in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Helping Carers to Live Well is our organisational aim. We provide a targeted service to young carers, aged 5 – 18 years. Young carers, provide vital emotional and practical support to a family member with a care need including sibling young carers. Their care role can have an impact on their wellbeing, education and social opportunities. We are looking for someone with the skills and ability to offer a coordinated approach in supporting young carers in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
As a Young Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to young carers and a commitment to enhancing their wellbeing. The role supports in the direct delivery of a range of services to young carers including information and advice, emotional support, a mentoring programme, signposting and referrals to other specialist organisations. As part of the Young Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in the planning and delivery of an extensive programme of leisure break activities for young carers, both term-time and in the school holidays. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of young carers, raise the profile of young carers and ensure young carers needs are met. Using all your skills, you will work with the team to deliver, review, and continually develop services for young carers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we’ve achieved.

· To be proactive in the identification and registration of young carers, which will include conducting internal assessments of their caring role and responsibilities and identifying support needs
· To support with the planning and participate in the delivery of young carers group activities and events
· To work with schools, voluntary organisations, statutory services, health services and others to raise awareness and identify young carers
· To keep accurate records of group and individual young carer engagement for monitoring and evaluation purposes
· To participate in key events organised by Richmond Carers Centre and other relevant partners to promote services to a wider public

Main Purpose: To provide integrated classroom and employment support to learners on The Autism Project (TAP), enabling them to develop independence, employability skills, and readiness for adulthood. The role combines in-class learning support with job coaching responsibilities, including work placements, employer liaison, and learner progression tracking.
You will work with: TAP staff and senior management team, Employer Engagement Officer, other CareTrade staff, local authorities, and other external partners e.g., external partners (e.g. schools, employers), as well as learners and parents/carers.
Your place and hours of work: Main office at Larcom Street, SE17 1RT plus regular travel throughout London. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (allowing an hour for lunch). 37.5 hrs. a week. FoCUS enables people to have their say and influence the mental health services they receive within Surrey and Northeast Hampshire.
FoCUS was set up by SABP to:
· Place people at the heart of the delivery and design of mental health services
· Set standards for how they involve people
· Measure how well they involve people
· Measure how well they deliver services
This role is intended to facilitate and coordinate involvement in FoCUS by promoting the network and encouraging people who use the Trust’s services and carers to join and participate in user involvement activities, and raise themes heard from member experiences to the Trust for discussion.
Main Responsibilities
Promotion of FoCUS
· Encourage and enable people with experience of mental health services and carers to join FoCUS and to influence SABP’s services.
· Increase awareness of the benefits of user involvement and representation in building people’s confidence, sense of worth and self-esteem and in helping people to achieve greater social inclusion.
· Promote FoCUS to people who use SABP’s services and carers, across Surrey and Northeast Hampshire. Using a variety of communication and engagement methods including attending relevant outreach and community events with an exhibition stand or promotional materials.
· Increase the number of service users and carers joining as FoCUS members.
· Develop and maintain personal contacts within SABP’s services in Surrey and Northeast Hampshire to promote FoCUS to their clients, and encourage key staff to attend Community Group meetings.
· Liaise with other services including Community Mental Health Recovery Services, Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and other public services and voluntary sector providers to promote FoCUS and encourage them to promote FoCUS membership to their clients.
Management of the Network
· Contact new FoCUS members to ensure their support and access needs are met and to encourage them to attend their local Community Group meetings.
· Work with LF Solutions to maintain and manage network enquiries, new members, meeting planning and delivery of the activities of the forum.
· Act as main contact for service users, carers and professionals for the FoCUS network. Manage inbox and all enquiries.
· Chair the meetings of the forum to ensure the smooth running of meetings and enable everyone to contribute in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
· Encourage members to attend FoCUS meetings and drop in’s to share recent service experiences.
· Produce a quarterly mental health Newsletter to promote outcomes achieved, manage the social media accounts for FoCUS.
Reporting
· Maintain accurate records. Keeping confidential member information up to date, undertaking data cleanses, recording meeting attendance and topics of discussion. Track activity and outcomes data for reporting purposes.
· Provide a quarterly report on activities and membership to SABP.
Development of volunteer FoCUS Representatives
· Encourage FoCUS members to put themselves forward to become a volunteer FoCUS Representative, explaining the nature and commitment of the role.
· Work with FoCUS Representatives on plans for engagement in their Areas and to agree their individual level of involvement in promoting FoCUS. Help them prepare their respective contributions to their Community Group meetings.
· Organise and attend a quarterly meeting of the FoCUS Representatives to prepare contributions to FoCUS Committee meetings, and provide support as required.
· Identify any training needs of FoCUS members and Representatives, to empower them to fulfil their potential and build personal skills and confidence to have their say.
General Duties
· Encourage existing and new FoCUS members to also join Surrey Coalition of Disabled People and the Independent Mental Health Network, offering opportunities for involvement in other issues affecting their lives.
· At all times, to work within Surrey Coalition’s policies. Including equal opportunities and health and safety, safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
· To work as a member of the team promoting FoCUS, including FoCUS Representatives and staff of Surrey Coalition and LF Solutions.
· Work flexibly to meet the responsibilities of the role and be responsive to any feedback.

Family Support Coordinator
We are looking for a skilled and motivated male Family Support Coordinator to deliver targeted, high-quality support to fathers and male caregivers across Stroud and Gloucester.

Location: Stroud and Gloucester/Hybrid (covering hospital, family hub and community settings)

The Role
Dad Matters Gloucestershire is part of the wider family support offer. It focuses on improving the wellbeing, confidence and engagement of fathers and male caregivers, particularly during pregnancy, early parenthood and times of family stress or transition.
This role will focus on engaging fathers who may be less likely to access traditional services, including through outreach, hospital-based engagement, family hub delivery, one-to-one support and home visiting. You will build and manage a targeted caseload aligned to family hubs and areas of highest need and bring specialist knowledge of father engagement whilst contributing to the ongoing development of Dad Matters practice across the organisation.
This role requires flexibility, including regular out-of-hours work, to ensure fathers can access support at times and in places that work for them.
Key accountabilities include:
- Deliver high-quality, targeted support to fathers and male caregivers
- Lead outreach and engagement activity with fathers and underrepresented groups
- Act as a specialist in father engagement within the wider family support team
- Contribute to the effective delivery and development of Dad Matters across the locality
- Work in partnership with local services to strengthen support for fathers and families
About You
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of supporting fathers and male caregivers, and who can build trust with people who may be unsure about asking for help. You will be confident working with families, able to manage a caseload, and comfortable delivering support in a range of settings including hospitals, family hubs, homes and community spaces.
You will need to be flexible, relational and practical, with the ability to work some evenings or weekends to reach fathers at the right time.
You will bring:
- Experience of working with families, fathers, parents or caregivers
- Experience of providing outreach support to families or individuals
- An understanding of the challenges families can face during pregnancy, early parenthood and family life
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Confidence in outreach, engagement and partnership working
- Good safeguarding awareness
- The ability to keep accurate records and manage a caseload
- A commitment to inclusive, non-judgemental and strengths-based support
