The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare profession/health related professional to join our existing team of Wellbeing Consultants embedded within established UK GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, relatives, GenesisCare staff team and Wellbeing consultant team and the wider Penny Brohn UK organization. We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, proactive, intelligent, and creative way. Candidates should have experience of working within private or national health related services and have knowledge, experience/understanding of complementary therapies or other support services.
Key role considerations
- This role will involve working alongside our partner GenesisCare to ensure a holistic approach is taken in aspects of support and treatment.
- The bulk of the patient work is delivery of one-to-one sessions – completing holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness, and relaxation sessions.
- The Wellbeing Consultant is responsible for ensuring that patients and their relatives have a positive experience as they move through the Penny Brohn UK treatment support services at GenesisCare.

Role Overview
The Community and Patient Engagement role will play a key role in building, supporting, and strengthening relationships with people living with lung conditions, carers, patient organisations, and wider community stakeholders across Europe. The postholder will ensure that patient voices are meaningfully embedded in ELF and ERS activities, including research, education, advocacy, and policy. - Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, carers, patient organisations and professionals across Europe

Person Specification
Essential
- Experience working in patient, community, or public engagement, preferably in health, research, or a non-profit setting
- Experience of delivering patient involvement, co-production, or participatory approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across cultures and countries
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from initiation to completion

About the Role:
The Triage and Early Intervention Officer (TEIO) will be responsible for making initial contact with adults who may require support after experiencing domestic abuse. You will speak on the telephone to adults who have experienced domestic abuse and you will be responsible for completing risk assessments and safety planning. During the call you will provide practical and emotional support in a way that is flexible and caring, listening carefully to what is being said and showing empathy at all times.
You will be talking to people on the telephone from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of domestic abuse, who may have gone through life-changing experiences.
Previous call centre experience would beneficial but is not essential as full training is given. You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.

Purpose of the IT / AV Technician role:
The Royal Air Force Museum is looking for a dynamic and proactive IT/AV Technician who likes to take the initiative to join a busy and well-established IT department, acting as a first point of contact for our users.
You will be working on anything from Cyber Security and Networking to Digital Gallery interactive repairs and meeting room Audio Visual, as well as traditional desktop support. The role can be very hands-on at times, but with elements of remote support, troubleshooting and investigation. As a IT / AV Technician, you will have a variety of roles which will include:
- To provide 1st line support for the Museum’s Information Technology and Audio-Visual systems through performance of the job functions detailed below.

- Responsible for setting up new starters' IT profiles, deleting leavers' IT profiles and making any changes to staff profiles in a timely manner
- Liaising with contractors, especially in relation to the managed printers contract, specifically for maintaining consumables on site
- Managing the IT Department’s supply of IT equipment, especially laptops and desktops, to new users, replacements, and repairs in accordance with the supplied documentation. Also managing the storage areas and ensuring that recycling, including Waste Electrical recycling, is routinely performed
- Provide training as requested and in some semi-formal sessions on the use of IT equipment
- Look after the status and configuration of shared computers in the meeting rooms
- Support the IT Team’s Cyber-Security policy by working with the vulnerability scanner and resolving issues where possible, with the support of the team
The successful candidate must have experience with 1st- and some 2nd-line IT and AV support in a hands-on environment.

About the Role
As a Service Delivery Assistant you will provide high quality and responsive administrative function for the National Contact Centre. Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries and supporting the wider team with general administrative duties.

The Community Fundraiser role is responsible for establishing and developing community fundraising systems and activities. This is BHA's first dedicated fundraising position, offering a unique opportunity to build sustainable income streams whilst building trusted relationships with Ethnic Minorities communities in and around Manchester, and others interested in supporting our cause. You will plan and deliver culturally appropriate fundraising events, develop digital fundraising campaigns, establish donor databases and create fundraising systems that align with our values and mission. The successful applicant should bring proven experience in community fundraising with our target audience.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate success in generating income through community engagement, has experience planning and delivering fundraising events, and understands the principles of community-centric fundraising.You will be comfortable establishing systems and processes as needed, working independently whilst collaborating across teams. Cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse communities is essential, along with the ability to build trust and rapport with different community groups. Strong communication skills, attention to detail regarding compliance and data protection, and creative problem-solving abilities will be crucial to your success in this role.The post holder will have the following essential criteria:
- Experience in successfully generating income through community fundraising activities

Main Responsibilities

Becoming a Homicide Caseworker is a unique opportunity to support families and individuals bereaved by and, eyewitness to murder and manslaughter. The National Homicide Service is a fast paced, specialist team funded directly by the Ministry of Justice to provide exceptional trauma informed practical and emotional support every day.
As a Family Caseworker you will:
- Work closely with the Major Crime Police Units, Senior Investigators and Family Liaison Officers, providing a pivotal role to support clients through the Criminal Justice System.

About the role:
This role is home working based with travel in the West Midlands area of England. As a Homicide Service Children and Young Person caseworker you will be:
- Delivering a specialist service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide
- Working collaboratively and jointly within the Homicide Service and other relevant organisations that can help to progress identified needs and ensure that young people are central to all processes that involve them.
- Acting as the designated caseworker and manage a caseload
- Implementing the CYP Homicide Service Delivery Model
- Working closely and supporting colleagues to provide a trauma informed service to children and young people.
You will be responsible for providing a high-quality, front-line service to bereaved young people following murder or manslaughter. Working with colleagues in the National Homicide Service, as well as partner agencies including education, police, courts, social services and many other statutory and third sector organisations.
You will need to be able to travel to face to face sessions within, and occasionally outside of region, and therefore a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.
