We're seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee our dedicated team of Floating Support Workers.

In this role, you will be responsible for line managing a team of Floating Support Workers and Lead Workers; Coordinating the provision of high-quality Floating Support to a wide range of individuals residing in Westminster or out of the borough in Temporary Accommodation placements

SHP Westminster Floating Support Service is funded by Westminster Borough to provide holistic, dynamic support to residents of Westminster. The aim of the service is to assist vulnerable residents to sustain their accommodation and access appropriate services to enable them to maintain independence and lead fulfilling lives.      

About the role:

As the Floating Support Team Manager, you will join an experienced management team to help ensure the delivery of effective and person-centred support services.

You will support the management team to ensure the service is running effectively and the team feel well supported and empowered to undertake their roles. You will monitor quality and the effectiveness of the support services by conducting regular supervisions and supporting with the data collection for reporting purposes.

You will also develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including Clients, Community Mental Health Teams, Housing, Adult Social Care with the aim of promoting collaboration.

About you:

• An Understanding of how to provide effective staff management and demonstrable ability to manage staff performance and motivate staff members to perform effectively. 
• Understanding and experience of working with the issues faced by people who experience mental ill health, substance use issues, and who have offending histories, in accessing the appropriate support from services. 
• A good and current understanding of safeguarding issues and procedures 
• Experience working as part of a multi-agency partnership to address complex problems and bring about positive change
• Resilience and determination to overcome obstacles and find creative solutions. 
• An approach that is analytical, and person-centred, rooted in a strengths and recovery model.

About the role:

London Victim and Witness Service is recruiting for 2 x DRIVE Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). These roles are full-time working one-day per week in the office and the other days from home, with regular travel required to visit clients and attend meetings.

The Drive model is based on an intensive case management approach and explicitly targets high risk perpetrators of domestic abuse associated with victims who have been referred to the MARAC. • Address the safety of victims at high risk of harm to secure their own & their chidlren's safety
• Serve as a victim's primary point of contact acting from the point of crisis to assess the level of risk, discuss the range of suitable options and develop safety plans
• Be pro-active in implementing the plans, including actions from MARAC, which address immediate safety and enable victims to protect themselves and their children, as well as longer term solutions, using sanctions and services via criminal and civil courts, housing options and other organisations

You will need:

• Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
• Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
• Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
• Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.

About the role:

With 20 new people in the UK diagnosed with kidney disease every day, the need for information and advice from a trusted, understanding source is bigger than ever. The Kidney Care UK Helpline is a new national service to support people online, on the phone and by email at the point they need support. 

This role would be ideal for someone with lived experience either as a patient, carer or health and social care professional, but primarily we’re seeking the skills to develop the processes, support knowledge development and lead a team to provide information, advice and non-medical guidance in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. 

You’ll lead from the front; answering incoming enquiries is your priority. You’ll need to be able to speak to a wide range of people and respond to them with compassion and understanding.  

Building and leading a small team, you will support them to develop knowledge and adopt best working practices. Listening to difficult conversations, their wellbeing is key and you’ll be experienced at identifying and implementing the training and support needed to thrive in a challenging but rewarding role.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

This is BAU support for staff and on-site/network IT infrastructure. If successful, you will liaise closely with our external IT consultancy, for bespoke 3rd line support, regarding our core IT infrastructure (software, hardware, server and network). You will be the first point of support for your colleagues’ IT needs. You will report on and advise senior management of the IT risks and cybersecurity needs. You prioritise your own work, documenting and communicating progress.

 Key Responsibilities:

● Troubleshoot IT based systems, hardware, and software issues for colleagues

● Onboard/offboard employees for IT system; set up all user credentials

● Manage devices for circa fifty staff using GoTo Resolve (our MDM/RMM tool)

Essential Skills and Qualifications: 

1. Experience of either Customer Service, Charitable Sector or Small Business

4. On-site management of Active Directory, Network Access Storage (inc. RAID)

5. Proficient in Windows 10/11 & Home/Pro, MS Office and MDM/RMM tools

About the role

The London Library is looking for a Reception Supervisor to be responsible for the efficient running of the Library’s Reception ensuring an excellent customer service experience is provided to members of, and visitors to, the Library throughout our opening hours.

The role includes answering questions about membership and services in person, by phone and email, giving tours to prospective members and assisting with membership processing and administration.

This is a brand-new role for the Library, with a potential to grow and develop. It will join our busy Member Services department and will manage our small team of Membership Assistants who cover the main entrance reception desk.

Liaising closely with the Membership and Marketing departments, the role will ensure that Reception staff are aware of current member offers and other activities relevant to the recruitment and retention of members.
