To successfully lead the Grants team and raise voluntary income from a range of Grantmakers including Trusts, Foundations and local Government grant funders contributing to an overall team target of £1-million +. Working effectively with a grants team of three, and across the organisation, you will meet team annual targets of circa £675,000 through finding new opportunities, building excellent relationships with funders and managing the team effectively. This will lead to more young people reached by Eikon’s services.
Responsibilities
Income generation
· Lead responsibility for raising current annual team target of £675,000 for restricted and unrestricted income
· Work to agreed metrices including an annual target of £220,000 - £250,000/year with a pipeline including statutory, national & regional grant funders (some being invite only).
· Develop and lead networking plan (internal/external) to secure long-term grant and statutory funding opportunities to help increase financial income year on year.
Account Management
· Lead a stewardship framework, ensuring excellent account management of funders across the team (including own portfolio)
· Lead plans for the year, thinking creatively to develop new engagement opportunities such as panels, breakfast meetings and other events
· Collaborate with other leads and managers in the team to maximise opportunities through relationships, for example Major Donors, Corporate partnerships and Individual Givers.
Management
· Line management two staff members (Senior Grants Fundraiser and Trust Fundraiser), creating a positive and supportive working culture supporting them to meet their targets
· Lead on managing pipeline information on Donorfy, being able to pull reports for information and analysis including:
o Provision of data and narrative for monthly team meetings
o Contribution to Board reporting with narrative and pipeline information
o Analysis for annual planning sessions
Quality and standards
· Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.
· Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
· Prepare relevant Grant Agreements and contractual information.
· Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.
· Carry out required basic due diligence on new funders.
Finance and resources
· Budget responsibility with authorisation up to agreed limits
· Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.
Communications and relationships
· Work collaboratively with the Communications Lead to devise annual communications and marketing plans, ensuring Eikon is strategically positioned externally.
· Work collaboratively with service leads ensure new services developed meet funder needs and requirements
Strategy/transformation work
· Lead on developing and delivering annual grants plan
· Participating in a Leads network, contribute regularly to organisation matters including strategies, annual plans and budgeting.
Organisational requirements

The Trust is recruiting a creative and committed Research and Policy Officer to join our team. Reporting to one of the team’s Research and Policy Managers, the successful candidate will play a significant role in developing and preparing the Trust’s research and policy outputs, working across the core areas of the Sutton Trust’s work (early years, schools, apprenticeships, higher education and access to the workplace). Person Specification
Essential
Excellent analytical skills and understanding of research methods, primarily quantitative research, as well as literature/evidence reviews. This should include significant experience of using data analysis software such as SPSS/Stata/R/Python or equivalent
A qualification in a social science or other numerate discipline, including statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science or similar discipline in the social or natural sciences at undergraduate level, or comparable experience
Two years' experience working in research in a professional or academic environment (e.g., PhD, post-doc)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High degree of initiative and the ability to take responsibility for projects
Personable, flexible and discreet; able to fit into a busy, small team in a fast-paced policy environment
Sympathetic to the aims of the Trust and its mission to address educational disadvantage

As the New National Forests Project Manager, you’ll lead on effective project management of centralised activities for the three new national forests.
Specifically, you’ll manage the centralised reporting of progress, targets and budgets, liaising closely with the programme managers for each new national forest.

Asylum Matters plays a significant role in working towards positive change for refugees and people seeking asylum. We’re seeking two Communications and Engagement Officers – one embedded within our Development team and one within our Volunteering team. You are an experienced, politically astute advocate with a strong track record of influencing policy change on gender equality or international development. You thrive in complex, collaborative environments and know how to translate evidence into compelling political asks.
You will bring:
· Significant advocacy or public affairs experience, with a deep understanding of the UK Government, Parliament, and relevant political institutions
· Demonstrable expertise on gender in emergencies, violence against women and girls, or related areas of international development
· Experience developing and delivering successful policy initiatives that have shifted attitudes, behaviour or legislation
· Strong leadership skills, including experience managing teams across time zones and working in co-management or consortium structures
· Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to distil complexity for senior political audiences and the confidence to speak to media
· A genuine commitment to feminist principles, equity, diversity and inclusion, and to centring the voices of women's rights organisations in advocacy work
Experience working on violence against women and girls and familiarity with FCDO-funded programmes, are highly desirable.
About the role
This is a rare opportunity to lead advocacy on two of the most important fronts in international development. You will co-lead the External Engagement and Influencing workstream of What Works to Prevent Violence – Impact at Scale (What Works II), a FCDO-funded programme working to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls globally. Alongside this, you will drive CIUK's own influencing work on gender equality, shaping UK Government policy and building CIUK's reputation as a thought leader on gender justice.
You will co-manage a global team of six advocacy and communications professionals for What Works and represent CIUK at senior levels across FCDO and UK Parliament, with sector colleagues, global and domestic women’s rights organisations and influential thought leaders. You will oversee the development of high-impact advocacy products, events and influencing strategies for both briefs.
This role sits in the Programme and Policy team and is line-managed by the Head of Advocacy & Influencing.

We are looking for resilient and dedicated people to join our new specialist high risk domestic abuse service as Independent Domestic Violence Advocate's (IDVA).
As a new service, we have 4 x full time IDVA positions available. These posts are initially offered on a fixed-term basis for one year, with the potential for extension subject to future funding. This is an exciting new role to the organisation forming a senior management team alongside the Executive Director, Casework Manager and Education and Finance Manager. Job Purpose:
