About the role
Reporting to a Senior Content Designer, you’ll create and improve Shelter’s advice content based on evidenced user needs. You’ll have some writing experience and be familiar with user-centred design ideas. You will know how to undertake independent legal research and be comfortable reading and understanding legislation and case law to inform the content you create.

You’ll research user needs, legislation and case law to produce accurate, engaging content, using content design principles to ensure everything published meets editorial, legal, design and accessibility standards. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll use data and analytics to evaluate and improve content performance, clearly communicate your design decisions, and apply agile and iterative ways of working. You’ll also be confident using content management systems to create, update and maintain high-quality website content.

Right now, we are looking for a Employment Specialist to play a pivotal role in our Employment Service in Camden.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As an Employment Specialist, you will manage a caseload of up to twenty clients, applying the eight principles of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to help individuals secure and sustain competitive employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, participating in case discussions and supervision while contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to client support. Responsibilities include developing employer relationships, identifying suitable job opportunities, supporting clients throughout their employment journey, and providing advice on benefits. You will monitor performance against key targets, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with NHS and organisational procedures, provide ongoing in-work support, and actively engage in professional development, training, and service improvement activities.

You will bring experience of managing a caseload and applying the eight principles of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to help individuals secure and sustain employment. You will possess strong employer engagement and job development skills, with the ability to source suitable opportunities and build effective employer networks. A collaborative approach, working alongside clinical teams, external partners, and employers, will enable you to support integrated employment and mental health outcomes. You will demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative abilities, including KPI monitoring, record management, and compliance with procedures. With a client-centred mindset, you will provide ongoing support to clients and employers, alongside strong communication, relationship-building, time management, adaptability, professional resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Role Location: Home based
This is an exciting time for Parkinson’s UK, we want to reach as many people as possible so we can improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s. We are looking for people to join our network, make genuine connections, and be part of a larger team that works together to support the Parkinson’s community.
About the role
You’ll lead and coordinate our local campaigning work across South West of England. Your work will help the charity improve the lives of people in local communities affected by Parkinson’s. You'll listen to the needs of our local communities and work with colleagues in our wider directorate to do focussed political campaigning work and advocacy.
Your work will help raise awareness and increase knowledge about Parkinson’s. Through your campaigns you’ll ensure that the voices of people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers are heard.
What you’ll do
Be a first point of contact for supporters and campaigners in the local area, who want to improve services in their local area.
Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and campaigners on how best to challenge and influence decision makers.
Build close working relationships with our field staff and our local networks.
Recruit and manage a sustainable network of local campaign volunteers.
Lead campaigns to ensure everyone with Parkinson’s has access to the multidisciplinary team so they can live well with Parkinson’s.
What you'll bring
Experience of campaigning and an understanding of the basic tools and techniques used in campaigning.
Experience of working with volunteers and services users including how best to support them to achieve their campaigning goals.
Experience in organising events.
Ability to network and build supportive relationships with volunteers, MPs and health bodies.
Experience of managing a varied workload and working to tight deadlines.
Experience of delivering training to volunteers and staff.
