Due to an internal promotion, Dementia UK has an exciting opportunity to join the Mass Participation team, where you will help to coordinate a portfolio of virtual events expected to raise over £4.7 million and bring in over 34,000 participants to the charity in the next year.

The virtual events portfolio at Dementia UK consist of a series of month-long challenges that bring our supporters together online across the UK. Participants receive a free incentive to take on a motivating challenge, from clocking up 60 miles in October to walking 1km a day in February, spending the month moving, connecting and fundraising for Dementia UK. As a Mass Participation Executive, you will be responsible for the end to end management of our virtual challenges, delivering marketing plans in collaboration with agency support and stewarding supporters to ensure participation. Using project management tools and a pro-active can-do approach, you will ensure smooth event delivery, continuously analyse, and develop the virtual events portfolio. You will work closely with teams across Fundraising, Data, Marketing & Communications to drive income, collaborate and achieve high levels of engagement across the virtual events portfolio. 

We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience. A background in areas such as individual giving, community fundraising, or challenge events would bring strong transferable skills to this role. If you have an understanding of effective marketing channels to drive participation in fundraising and effective stewardship techniques, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Interim Visiting Caseworker to join our Services & Grants team for 12 months. This home-based role will support clients across the North West of England, with regular travel to meet clients and work with partners.

The Role

You’ll work closely with foster carers and social work colleagues to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• To supervise and support a diverse range of foster carers and children.

With the agreement of Nottingham City Council, advanceNG will soon be taking over the long-term management of 3 library buildings at Bilborough, Basford and Aspley to accompany its work at Haydn Road Community Pavilion. Working with a range of trusted voluntary and community sector delivery partners, advanceNG aims to transform these buildings into thriving and viable community spaces and places for all.

To drive this initiative forward, we are recruiting a Community Hub Team made up of:

• a full-time, Community Hub Manager (£32,750 - £37,000, depending on experience); and
• 2 full-time equivalent Community Hub Administrators (£25,500 - £29,250, depending on experience). Job Share candidates are welcome.

Reporting to our Chief Executive and working with our Head of Property Services, the Community Hub Manager will head up a team of Community Hub Administrators that will play a critical role in delivering our mission to lead a community programme and manage a property portfolio that delivers community renewal in an ethical, inclusive, and sustainable way.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to join as Office Manager and Executive Assistant. You will be the main point of contact for our Senior Management Team, Trustee Board and Advisory Panel members and have the inside track on how the charity plans and implements both its strategic growth and its day-to-day operations. You will also act as Office Manager in our Head Office, and be part of our Facilities Team supporting our sites across the network.

The role is challenging and varied. You will work with a wide range of our stakeholders, both internally and externally, taking a professional yet friendly approach – you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have excellent organisational and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, excellent written skills and will be highly efficient. You will need to be able to gain the respect required to act as the voice of the CEO.

The role at a glance

Working hours:

30 hours per week (typically 4 days per week, 09:00 to 17:30, but alternate patterns can be discussed with candidates)

We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. Our Head Office team is based on the site of our North Kensington centre in West London. Role is mainly office-based, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week.

Salary: £40,000 per annum pro rata (including £2,800 London contribution)
Pro-rated salary for 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE) is £32,000 per annum
