The Role 

We are looking for a creative, organised and motivated Marketing and Events Manager who is passionate about making a difference. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in raising awareness of The Care Workers’ Charity and supporting our work to improve the lives of care workers across the UK. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the delivery of the charity’s marketing and events programme, helping to grow engagement, strengthen our profile and support our fundraising activities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing campaigns across a range of channels, including social media, email newsletters and the website, ensuring our communications are clear, engaging and consistent. You will play an important role in telling the story of the charity’s impact and helping more care workers, supporters and partners connect with our work.

You will coordinate and deliver a varied programme of activities including fundraising events, sector conferences, networking opportunities and national campaigns such as Professional Care Workers’ Week. You will be confident managing event logistics, working with venues and suppliers, coordinating speakers and partners, and ensuring events are well organised and professionally delivered. You will enjoy creating engaging and memorable experiences that help supporters feel connected to the charity’s work. 

You will work closely with the fundraising team to support campaigns and partnerships, helping to create engaging opportunities that encourage supporters and organisations to get involved. The role will involve building positive relationships with partners and sponsors and representing the charity at meetings and events across the sector. 

About You 

You will be a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and finding new ways to engage supporters, partners and care workers in the work of the charity. 

You will have experience delivering marketing campaigns and organising events, and you will enjoy bringing ideas to life from concept through to delivery. Whether coordinating a fundraising event, supporting a conference presence or helping to deliver a national campaign, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects and ensuring everything runs smoothly. 

You should be confident using a range of marketing channels including social media, email marketing and websites, and be willing to try new approaches to help raise awareness and grow engagement. You will be organised and detail-focused, able to manage event logistics, coordinate suppliers and venues, and ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. 

You will be a proactive self-starter who can work independently while also being a strong team player. Experience in marketing, events or fundraising is essential, and knowledge of the health and social care sector would be an advantage.

We are looking for a Research Officer to join our Campaigns, Policy and Research directorate.

This busy team uses evidence to raise the profile of issues affecting the Armed Forces community and influences politicians, officials, and the wider sector to improve policy and service delivery.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about turning research into meaningful impact. You will play a key role in articulating the value and outcomes of our work, confidently communicating its significance to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

Funded by ten prime providers, this is a senior policy and public affairs role leading a high-profile campaign on behalf of the employment support sector. The postholder will ensure that decision makers, policy makers, and commissioners clearly understand:

• The value and contribution of large employment support organisations as prime contract holders

The Policy and Campaigns Manager leads ADUK in championing reforms that pave the way for better access for all disabled people partnered with a highly trained assistance dog. Through dynamic campaigns and impactful initiatives, this role is pivotal to how ADUK amplifies the voices of those whose lives are transformed by these life changing dogs, ensuring that their rights are protected for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Executive Director (ED), continue to develop a compelling case for taking a standards-based approach to the training and welfare of assistance dogs.
• Gather, analyse and apply robust evidence to strengthen ADUK’s credibility, influence and voice on key policy and campaigning issues.
• Work with the ED to identify and progress opportunities for ADUK and its members to engage with policymakers, regulators and other decision-makers, and to support positive policy change.
• Develop and deliver written and in-person reports and briefings for different audiences, including politicians, policy officials, and other decision-makers.
• Collaborate with the ED and Head of Education and Allyship to develop relationships with key stakeholders.

The post holder will be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership, management and oversight of a team.

Digital Change Manager

Role purpose 

Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. Our Digital Transformation Team will drive this change programme, working with colleagues and external digital partners; and subsequently deliver our on-going digital strategy implementation and development. 

You will support the Digital Transformation Lead to refine and implement Adoption UK’s digital strategy, to deliver our digital transformation project. Like many charities, we’ve historically developed our digital framework and footprint organically, with insufficient web and CRM integration and functionality, duplication and data silos; resulting in data management and website functionality that don’t meet all our users’ needs. We’re changing all that by: 

1. Investing in our customer-facing website and data management systems; connecting all our divisions and services, delivering integrated systems that provide a positive customer and stakeholder journey.
2. Developing the next generation of digitally accessible services 
3. Extending our in-house digital capability to support continuous delivery. 

Key accountabilities: 

• Support the Digital Transformation Lead to implement the charity’s digital strategy.

• Coordinate data and content activities, including migration between platforms, to deliver our website and CRM digital transformation programme.

Following the appointment of our current Chief Executive in 2025, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter and developing a strategy that aims to extend our impact by addressing key rural issues facing communities locally, namely; access to jobs and services, affordable housing, and health and wellbeing.

About the role:

As our Training Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving income and expanding our commercial training portfolio. You will:

• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients across England and Wales
• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities
• Promote our specialist training that enhances outcomes for victims and improves professional practice
• Deliver high-quality customer service from initial enquiry through to post-delivery follow-up
• Manage a busy pipeline, prioritising leads and meeting income targets
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional client experiences.

This role requires confidence, adaptability and a strong balance of sales focus and client care. You'll be comfortable working independently, managing competing deadlines and keeping a clear focus on results that directly benefit victims and the wider organisation.

The role is home-based with some national travel.
