At Betknowmore UK, we work to prevent and reduce gambling-related harm through support, education, training and community engagement. As our Triage Team Manager, you'll lead the function that determines how quickly and safely people in crisis get the help they need.
We're looking for an experienced people manager to lead our triage team, overseeing referrals from first contact through to onboarding, ensuring every assessment is thorough, every risk is managed, and every service user is guided into the right support without delay.
Working closely with the Referral Leads and colleagues across the organisation, you'll drive continuous improvement of our triage processes, keep our data and CRM systems robust, and build strong relationships with partners so people never fall through the gaps.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the triage function, ensuring referrals are processed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing and supporting a team of Referral Leads, providing supervision, guidance and performance oversight
- Overseeing service user onboarding, including assessment, safety management and safeguarding practice
- Monitoring waiting lists and service capacity, taking action to manage demand
- Overseeing our CRM system (Airtable), ensuring data accuracy, accessibility and integrity
- Producing monthly and quarterly reports, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Building operational relationships with delivery partners, and representing Betknowmore UK at MDTs, meetings and sector events
- Fostering a collaborative, psychologically safe team environment
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- Experience working in addiction, mental health or similar support services
- Experience comprehensively assessing risk and needs
- Experience managing or supervising staff and volunteers
- Experience working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders across different sectors and disciplines

Experience with gambling and gambling harm would be advantageous, as would a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification, experience improving service delivery processes, familiarity with CRM/data systems such as Airtable, and experience producing reports to inform decisions.

About you

We're particularly interested in people who can provide calm and decisive leadership, support others to perform at their best, and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement in emotionally demanding environments.
You will have:
- Significant experience within crisis, mental health or psychological services
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Advanced skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and crisis intervention
- Experience delivering psychological therapies and supporting or supervising clinicians

Working arrangements
This is a fully remote, UK-based role with occasional national travel.
The role includes participation in the senior clinical on-call rota, with a requirement to provide a minimum of eight weeks of cover each year. Occasional shift working may also be required to support frontline service delivery.

Steamship Shieldhall is seeking to appoint an experienced freelance Commercial Manager to build new income streams to support the ongoing operation, conservation and sustainability of one of the country's most significant historic ships.
Shieldhall is berthed year-round in Southampton and welcomes passengers and visitors on board from 110 Berth in the Western Docks. She is capable of carrying up to 220 passengers and from spring to autumn each year operates a programme of public sailings ranging from two hour trips to full day cruises. She is also open for alongside events, and is available for private charters. In addition, she can be hired for use alongside such as for training activities, meetings, functions and filming.
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for identifying and realising new opportunities for revenue generation for Steamship Shieldhall, as well as supporting Shieldhall’s experienced volunteers with maximising income from existing activities.
This commission is an important element of the “Steamship Shieldhall: towards 2055, the next 10 years” project which is supported by a Development Phase grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The appointment is intended to cover both the Development Phase and the first two years of the Delivery Phase of our project but will include a break-clause between the two phases. The Delivery Phase contract is contingent on a successful Delivery Phase grant application to the Heritage Fund

The Individual Giving Campaigns Manager will lead and manage the multi-channel campaign portfolio
within the Individual Giving function at Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity. The Charity
has been growing its supporter base over recent years and has an ambition to create a step change in our
approach and significantly grow our Individual Giving donors and supporters.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent Individual Giving campaign creation & communication skills, a
deep understanding of print and digital marketing, and robust analytical skills, able to make clear
recommendations for campaign improvements to drive our future strategy
They will ensure that all income targets are achieved in line with the wider Fundraising Strategy and work
closely with other Individual Giving colleagues covering ‘Acquisition & Retention’ and ‘In Memory & Legacies’
to deliver successful campaigns. The post holder will also support and deputise for the Head of Individual
Giving where appropriate, to empower the Individual Giving and Legacies team to deliver over £3.5million+
per annum.
Key responsibilities include:
1. To utilise a range of existing and new channels to deliver new and existing campaigns to drive donor
acquisition, retention and upgrade, thereby maximising and growing annual income from individual
giving campaigns covering Lotteries, Direct Marketing, Regular Giving and Legacies.
2. To design, deliver and analyse our annual multi-channel Direct Marketing portfolio covering Direct
Mails, Eshots, Cold Mails, Social Media and digital acquisition to grow income, supporter
engagement and data. The post holder will lead on the development of compelling campaign
messaging, creative concepts and briefing design to ensure high-quality, engaging supporter
communications.
3. To undertake complex analysis and evaluation of all Individual Giving campaigns, developing plans
to continuously improve performance, response rates and ROI. To ensure effective use of campaign
data to improve targeting, segmentation and overall campaign performance
4. To design and implement campaigns with robust and engaging supporter journeys, that build
meaningful relationships and increase lifetime value & thereby long term sustainable income
5. To work with internal stakeholders to create inspiring Charity impact stories and campaigns that
drive public support of the 'general charity fund’ & enable long term, unrestricted income growth
6. To support the Head of Individual Giving to develop and implement the Individual Giving & Legacies 5 Year Campaign Strategy providing long term sustainable income and supporter growth, as well as
line-manage and develop staff responsible for delivering Individual Giving & Legacies campaigns,
fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture
7. To provide guidance, training and support to the Public Fundraising Team and wider Charity Team
for all relevant Individual Giving and Legacy campaigns/products
8. To build and manage key stakeholder relationships with existing third party suppliers, Data & AI
agencies, external Raffle and Prize Draw platforms, Design Agencies, and Mailing/Fulfilment
Houses, to maximise campaign effectiveness
9. To lead and maximise opportunities to drive new data acquisition and lead generation across all
channels, including reviewing and optimising existing lead generation activity and developing new,
innovative lead generation campaigns
10. To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, including data protection, Gambling
regulations, and Tax/Gift Aid, ensuring Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity is
compliant with all legislation and best practice

Responsible for
- Championing and quality assuring our theory of change, ensuring that programmes are designed with impact at the centre and within the frameworks that will give us the most robust data sets
- Quantitative data analysis for individual programmes and our portfolio of mentoring programmes as a whole, clearly presenting our impact against our outcomes
- Qualitative data analysis of mentoring messages, written feedback and focus groups/1:1 interviews
- Producing high quality evaluation reports for individual programmes, including recommendations for future iterations
- Producing organisational impact reports and blogs/posts, to present our impact to external audiences
- Creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards to present live impact data
- Proofing and testing baseline and exit surveys to ensure accuracy of questions and survey logic across our portfolio
- Overseeing our data collection tools and upskilling the team to use them effectively/accurately
- Overseeing our external communications to ensure regular sharing of case studies and impact stories through our comms and marketing (social media, newsletters etc.)
- Conducting focus groups and interviews and writing up case study stories Ensuring that all data collection is accurate and in line with our policies

Role Overview
The Charity Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities for Holly’s Hearts to ensure the services, and internal processes run efficiently and effectively. This role supports the charity’s strategic goals by managing systems, coordinating events and volunteers, improving operational procedures, and identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities, including grants, trusts, foundations, and corporate partnerships.
Day to day you will manage emails, phone calls and general enquiries. You will need good written and verbal communication skills and be professional and friendly at all times. You will also assist with the finance admin keeping records of income, tracking donations and sending out thank-you messages and be confident to use tools like Microsoft Excel to track expenditure.Use of tools to keep records of donors and gift recipients.You will be required to review and improve operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
You will build and nurture new corporate relationships with companies across the North West to increase the income for the charity and maintain relationships with funders and partners to support long-term financial sustainability for the charity.
You will work closely with trustees, programme teams, volunteers, and external partners to ensure the charity delivers high-quality services to meet its objectives. Working closely with families and social workers you will develop strong relationships to ensure that referrals for gifts continue to grow and awareness of the charity is built in the paediatric oncology hospital wards.
You will manage the charities social media platforms by providing updates and stories about the charity, responding to comments and messages from supporters with the aim to build awareness and grow supporters for the charity. You will use social media as a tool to encourage people to attend events or support the charity through campaigns and fundraising. This will require strong writing and communication skills and empathy and understanding of the charity’s mission. You will work closely with the website team to ensure the website is updated accordingly.
You will be the first point of contact for supporters interested in fundraising. You will be responsible for the development of our fundraising and events portfolio and be involved in all event management and administration.This will include planning events, organising venues, budgets and logistics around the event. Contacting suppliers, sponsors, volunteers and speakers. Promoting the events through email, posters, websites and social media. Ensuring that fundraising targets for each event are met and reviewing event success afterward. Encouraging community involvement in events and managing those volunteers on event days. You will identify opportunities to grow our supporter base through outreach and networking with individuals, community groups and organisations. You will build relationships with event providers and proactively seek new opportunities for events. Through a multimedia approach you will advertise and promote events efficiently and you will recruit participants and celebrate their achievements. After the events you will report on the performance and income targets.
Creating heartwarming memories for children with cancer
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will play a key supporting role within the fundraising team, assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Communications team. With a key aim of delivering agreed activity and growing income from corporate partnerships.
This role focuses on supporting the identification and recruitment of new regional, national and international corporate supporters, while also playing a lead role in managing and stewarding existing partnerships, with particular responsibility for communications activity and delivery of sponsorship activities and events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting New Business Development
- Assist in researching and identifying prospective regional, national and international corporate partners aligned with the organisation’s mission and values
- Support the development of tailored proposals, pitches and presentations for potential corporate supporters
- Help prepare outreach materials, including emails, decks, and briefing documents
- Maintain and update prospect pipelines and CRM records
- Attend meetings and events with prospective partners, taking notes and following up on actions
- Work closely with the charity’s rescue and rehoming centres and wider team to identify new corporate funding and partnership opportunities.
Managing Existing Corporate Partnerships
- Provide day-to-day support in the management of existing corporate accounts
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with partner contacts
- Ensure partnerships are delivered in line with agreed objectives and timelines
- Support the monitoring and reporting of partnership performance and impact
- Attend events linked to corporate supporters to represent the charity, with UK-wide travel sometimes required
- Help organise and attend large corporate volunteer days at the charity’s rescue and rehoming centres
Communications & Engagement
- Maintain a strong understanding of World Horse Welfare’s work to ensure relevance in our corporate partnership work
- Develop close working relationships with Communications team and work closely with them on creating and scheduling of agreed corporate content in line with communications schedules.
- Coordinate and deliver partnership communications, including newsletters, updates, impact reports, and social media content
- Lead on gathering content to form the basis of partnership communication obligations
- Work with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality messaging including drafting copy in line with brand messaging, obtaining appropriate images, developing related materials and ensuring approval processes are followed.
- Support the planning and execution of partner engagement activities, campaigns, and events
- Ensure partners receive appropriate recognition and visibility in line with agreements
Sponsorship & Agreement Management
- Assist in drafting and managing sponsorship agreements and partnership contracts
- Track and fulfil contractual benefits (e.g. branding, hospitality, social media, volunteering, speaking opportunities)
- Maintain accurate records of deliverables and ensure all obligations are met
- Support the review and renewal of agreements
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
- Track income, pledges, and invoices
- Support preparation of reports and presentations
- Provide general administrative support to Corporate Fundraising Manager and Director of Fundraising in relation to corporate support
