Job description

HELP US LAUNCH MINDSET — AND BUILD A HIGH‑PERFORMANCE CHARITY FOR MEN & BOYS IN LONDON

We’re ideally seeking volunteers based in London, but we welcome passionate people from across England who can join virtually and help shape the future of a charity with huge potential.

We’re MINDSET Charity, a bold new start‑up in London on a mission to equip and empower men and boys with the tools they need for better mental health, stronger resilience and long‑term personal growth.

We’re building a stigma‑free movement — a space where men and boys can learn real, practical, non‑clinical skills that help them build better habits, better mindsets and better lives. From 1:1 Life Coaching, to 6‑ and 12‑week self‑improvement programmes, to school workshops for teenage boys, we’re creating something powerful.

And right now, we’re getting ready to launch — and we need passionate, dedicated and go-getters with real entrepenurial spirit and drive to become our first Charity Management Volunteers who can help build the operational, community and service‑delivery foundations of MINDSET.

YOUR IMPACT WILL BE HUGE

Joining MINDSET at this early stage means you’re not stepping into a traditional volunteer role — you’re becoming part of the founding team that builds the charity’s structure, systems, culture and delivery model.

Your leadership will directly influence:

  • how strong and organised our operations become;

  • how effective and impactful our programmes are;

  • how connected and energised our volunteer community feels;

  • how smoothly we deliver services across London;

  • how quickly and confidently we can launch.

This is your chance to help build a charity from the ground up — shaping its operations, community, delivery and future.

THE ROLE: CHARITY MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEER (VOLUNTEER)

  1. A builder.
  2. A problem‑solver.
  3. A champion for community, operations and impact.

As a Charity Management Volunteer, you’ll support the core organisational functions that keep MINDSET running — from operations management, service delivery coordination and community building, to programme support, administration and organisational development.

You’ll help create a positive, high‑performing charity environment rooted in:

  • teamwork and collaboration;

  • shared values and behaviours;

  • community development;

  • operational excellence;

  • impact, purpose and growth.

This role is perfect for someone who loves organisation, people, systems and helping build something meaningful from the ground up.

WHAT YOU’LL HELP US BUILD

1. Strong Charity Operations

  • Supporting day‑to‑day charity management.

  • Helping build systems, processes and workflows.

  • Ensuring smooth coordination across programmes.

  • Strengthening the charity’s organisational backbone.

2. Community Development & Engagement

  • Helping build a positive, connected volunteer community.

  • Supporting team bonding, shared values and collaboration.

  • Creating opportunities for volunteers to grow and thrive.

  • Helping volunteers feel part of something meaningful.

3. Service Delivery Support

  • Assisting with programme coordination and logistics.

  • Supporting delivery of coaching, mentoring and workshops.

  • Helping ensure sessions run smoothly and professionally.

  • Strengthening the impact we make across London.

4. Organisational Growth & Development

  • Helping build systems future teams can rely on.

  • Supporting planning, administration and project work.

  • Contributing ideas, insight and energy to a fast‑moving charity.

  • Helping shape the culture and identity of MINDSET.

5. Giving Back to Volunteers

  • Helping volunteers build skills, confidence and positive habits.

  • Supporting their personal growth and wellbeing.

  • Making volunteering at MINDSET a genuinely life‑enhancing experience.

WE’RE NOT JUST LOOKING FOR ANYONE

We’re especially interested in people who:

  • enjoy charity management, operations or community development;

  • love building teams, systems and positive environments;

  • bring organisation, clarity and strong communication skills;

  • thrive in start‑up settings with energy and purpose;

  • care deeply about men’s mental health, wellbeing and personal growth;

  • want to help build a charity from scratch;

  • believe volunteers deserve support, development and appreciation.

If you’re someone who loves building organisations, supporting teams and helping create impact — this is your moment.
