We’re a Founder-led charity working to solve learn-to-swim for disabled children - and we aim to do that in the next ten years.

We’ve grown our impact 5x in the past three years and now raise over £1m in unrestricted income annually through our swim events. Our events attract 5,000 swimmers and 3,000 fundraisers, and we own and operate some of the UK’s most iconic outdoor swims - including the Dart10k and Bantham Swoosh - alongside a growing series of 24-hour relays in lakes and lidos.

The role

We’re all driven, and you’ll need to be too - this is a fast-paced, ambitious environment with lots of learning and change.

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Head of Fundraising to lead our next phase of growth.

Your first focus will be stewarding our 3,000 fundraisers - overseeing segmented email journeys, managing a £40k prizing fund, and improving supporter care through deeper, more personal touchpoints. That might mean calls, events, or just finding ways to help people feel more connected to their impact.

Beyond that, you'll help us develop and test new income streams - from matched giving and regular giving, to sponsorships, repeat fundraising, and post-event conversion. You'll also play a key role in evolving our Challenge Events portfolio across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.

This role requires someone with a strong track record in fundraising growth, a test-and-learn mindset, and the ambition to build something big.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy Development and Implementation
• Develop and execute a fundraising strategy aligned with the charity's objectives.
• Identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities to diversify income streams.
• Defining our fundraising growth strategies, specifically around our event series.

Community and Events Fundraising

• Oversee the planning and execution of community fundraising initiatives, specifically with our event fundraisers.
• Engage and mobilise volunteers and supporters for fundraising activities.

Fundraiser Care

• Customer Lifetime value / retention / regular giving.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring effective stewardship.
• Develop and implement donor retention strategies to increase long-term support and regular giving.

Trusts and Foundations

• Working closely with our Head of Programmes to oversee our bids process, working with specialists and utilising learnings from previous years.
• Deepen strong relationships with grant-making bodies and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Corporate Partnerships

• Manage and develop corporate partnerships and event sponsorships. 
• Develop tailored proposals and pitches to attract corporate support.

Team Leadership

• Lead, inspire, and manage a small fundraising team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members for both fundraising and marketing.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Track and report on fundraising performance against targets.
• Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team. 

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a senior fundraising role.
• Proven experience working on fundraising events and event fundraising.
• Demonstrable success in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
• Strong track record of securing major gifts, grant funding and/or corporate partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience in digital fundraising and leveraging social media platforms.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

About the role:

This is a home based role that will include travel across England and Wales when delivering training. You will be working within a specific project that delivers learning externally to other organisations outside of VS. Your primary goal will be to design and deliver high quality learning interventions based on what our customers need.

As an External Trainer you will:

• Manage, coordinate and deliver professional, engaging and interactive training sessions to external clients using a range of facilitation methods, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed training objectives, materials and quality standards.

We're seeking an enthusiastic Education Coordinator to help shape the future of chemistry education.
 
With a focus on Northern Ireland, you'll lead regional initiatives, tailoring them to local needs and supporting teachers through workshops and online sessions. You'll build strong partnerships with local education authorities, schools, and teacher networks, and collaborate with national organisations to advance our education policy across the UK and Ireland. You’ll monitor educational developments, contribute to policy-influencing documents, and share our views with policy makers and other stakeholders.
 
This role will require extensive travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, including attending and running events for teachers and student teachers, working with members, and meeting key education contacts. What we are looking for:

• A degree in science, preferably in the chemical sciences, or an equivalent qualification, together with evidence of working with schools, ideally with a teaching qualification.
• An understanding of school level, further and higher education and a breadth of knowledge of the education systems in the UK and Ireland together with a deep knowledge of the local curricula.
• Experience of stakeholder relationship management and an understanding of customer requirements, including those of: school teachers; FE teachers, HE academics and support staff; careers advisors; employers; governments and its agencies, and non-government bodies.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Fundraiser to join our friendly team. The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery. 

About You 

Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use. 

The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030.

About the opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll manage delivery of digital services at the Alzheimer's Society as part of an exciting technology transformation programme. You'll be at the heart of this transformation. You'll work with multidisciplinary product teams to deliver modern, secure and user-centred tools through a sustainable, user-led approach. Enhancing our capabilities and maximising our impact. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of products as the organisation's needs evolve, and you'll help scale our largest products to thousands of users.

You'll be in an impactful role within our IT Delivery team working closely with the Digital team and part of our Technology Directorate. You'll report to the Product Lead for your professional development. You'll lead on cross-functional product portfolios using agile methodology, setting goals, strategy and priorities that define how thousands of people get support from us daily.

About you

You're a user focused Senior Product Manager with a successful track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital products using agile methodology in large organisations. You have significant experience in understanding and balancing client, organisational, and technical needs when setting product strategy and direction. You're passionate about Tech for Good with a genuine desire to work in an equity-driven organisation solving real world problems.

You'll have:

- Successful track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital products using agile methodology in a large and complex organisation.
- Significant experience in understanding and balancing client, organisational, and technical needs and knowing how to balance these when setting product strategy and direction.
- Significant experience of researching, prototyping, launching and scaling products and platforms from inception to live. 
- Ability to embody a product-mindset and be intensely user-focused, using qualitative and quantitative data to track progress against user outcomes. 
- Significant experience working cloud architecture and infrastructure and managing relationships between interdependent technology teams. 
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate with senior stakeholders up to Director level. 
- Commitment to sharing knowledge, mentoring and coaching others with a passion for working collaboratively.

What you’ll focus on

- Leading the creation and evolution of the product vision, strategy, and objectives while discovering, defining, and validating problems presented by user insight, stakeholder priorities, organisational needs, and technical team members. 
- Coordinating across complex dependencies to deliver features that improve the overall user experience while engaging with teams across the organisation to align plans, understand priorities, and communicate changes to users. 
- Collaborating with user-centred design specialists and technical specialists to make sure our services are sustainable, flexible, and designed with users in mind - while developing product roadmaps that balance this alongside organisational priorities. 
- Using qualitative and quantitative data to make informed, outcome-focused decisions while tracking and monitoring product performance and user outcomes to iterate and improve on features. 
- Taking a responsible and ethical approach, considering the social impact our services create and minimising potential unintended consequences.
- Line managing and coaching members of the product community as we continue to grow, building a team culture in line with our organisational values.

The interview process will include a task, followed by a competency panel interview taking place via Microsoft Teams on the same day. Candidates will need to allocate 2 hours of time on the day of their interview.
